...Today Thea & I observed birds at:
Floyd Lamb State Park
partly cloudy ~ 12 noon ~ 65� ~ 3 mph wind
New Birds:
- Canvasback
- Sharp-shinned Hawk
We saw three Sharp-shinned and got within about ten feet of one...we watched them for an hour.
A Cooper's Hawk sat with the sharp-shinned and didn't fly away the whole time, it just sat there preening.
