Wildside Episodes


Episode 1
Bill's
back because of a warning he received from Syd Carroll, a
crisis centre worker,
that his son Nick is in trouble. Detectives Kim Devlin
and Brian Deakin are particulary hostile in their
interrogation of two Ram Raid suspects who are involved
in a serious accident.
Episode 2
Bill's
search for his son intensifies. He has a video revealing
images of child pornography. It shows his son kissing a
young girl, Candy. Bill's hunt for Candy leads him to a
strip-joint where she is working.
Episode 3
Policeman
Bill McCoy continues the search for his missing son.
Episode 4
When
a corpse turns up wearing his son Nick's jacket, Bill and
his ex-wife are asked to indentify the body. The boy's
face, fingertips and teeth have been removed and Bill
fears that the murderer is playing with him.
Episode 5
Bill
discovers his friend Reilly has been covering up for the
paedophile ring that may be responsible for the
disappearance of his son. Reilly shoots himself,
prompting Bill to burn evidence which would destroy his
family.
Episode 6
Bill
goes back to the force as head of detectives. He
investigates the murder of a prostitute. Maxine confronts
the breakdown of her marriage and her husband's affair
with a student.
Episode 7
Bill
investigates the gang rape of a prostitute and discovers
that one of the culprits may be the son of a MP trying to
rid the district of sex workers.
Episode 8
Bill
races against the clock to solve the murder of a mother
outside her home before the case is taken off him.
Meanwhile, Maxine marriage is over.
Episode 9
Bill
and Kim investigate a car stealing racket involving an
illegal immigrant. The investigation leads to a lawyer
who is riping off illegal immigrants.
Episode 10
Maxine
deals with family friends whose daughter is encouraged by
her psychologist to believe that she has repressed memory
syndrome and that her father is not only assaulted her as
a child but murdered her best friend.
Episode 11
Bill
and Kim investigate the release of a party drug that is
killing kids at nightclubs. Maxine deals with the father
and sister of a victim of the drug and discovers that the
sister is more involved than anyone realises.
Episode 12
The
threat to Maxine's life pushes Bill to the limit. His
actions cause a bloody massacre. Bill discovers Kim had a
relationship with one of the gang leaders and tipped him
off about Bill's actions.
Episode 13
Charlie
arrives from the gaming squad to help Bill with an Asian
gambling investigation. He annoys Bill with his
unorthodox investigation methods and chronic gambling
habit. Meanwhile, Maxine helps two street kids.
Episode 14
When
a high-profile doctor is murdered, Bill is given the case
to investigate. The investigation brings him in contact
with his sister Kate, who knew the doctor and has some
leads for him.
Episode 15
Bill
is accused of setting an innocent man up and locking him
away several years ago. When Bill brings the man's son in
for drug offences the son accuses Bill of setting him up
too.
Episode 16
Bill
faces a moral dilemma when the mother of a
prostitute/heroin addict shoots a pimp for raping her
daughter.
Episode 17
Billl
comes down hard on a group of street kids for killing a
taxi driver but must accept his own son could be doing
the same thing.
Episode 18
Charlie
pushes too hard to have a charge laid against the
workmatse of a child who was tortured.
Episode 19
Maxine
rebuilds a relationship with her sister while helping her
in a custody battle against her abusive husband.
Episode 20
Maxine
turns to drink after her sister is killed by her
ex-husband. The only way to implicate the husband for the
murder is if Maxine gets a confession on tape, but Bill
won't let her do this until she stops drinking.
Episode 21
Bill
becomes involved with Lisa, an undercover detective, when
he investigates the connected murder of the local Asian
mayor.
Episode 22
Unaware
who Lisa is, Maxine believes Bill is sleeping with the
enemy and covering up a murder. Then Lisa's cover is
blown, foiling the drug bust and putting her life in
danger.
Episode 23
Gerry
helps an ex-client who has escaped from prison to see her
sick child. Gerry convinces the woman to take the child
to Maxine for medical help.
Episode 24
Bill
investigates a threat made against a state MP who has
outrageous views on aborigines and ends up involved in a
kidnapping drama.
Episode 25
Bill
investigates the death of four Tongans in the 180 Club.
Meanwhile, the trust between Maxine and Bill reaches
absolute zero when she lies to Bill to protect her young
friend.
Episode 26
Bill's
surrogate son, Joe, is out on the edge and an addict -
and Bill wants to help him. However, the only person who
can really help Joe is his real dad, Tony Pelucci, who
hasn't the best reputation. Meanwhile, a pretty civilian
clerk accuses two policemen of rape.
Episode 27
When
an ex-con and junkie violently bashes the owner of a
small security firm, he is arrested and charged. However,
the victim is a child abuser and when Charlie finds
himself investigating the case, ancient demons and long
buried guilt surface.
Episode 28
Virginia
becomes involved in helping her lover when he is targeted
by a crooked cop who is under investigation by Internal
Affairs.
Episode 29
Charlie
lands in trouble when he borrows money from loan sharks.
In a desperate attempt to pay them back, he uses money
stolen from criminals. Meanwhile, Maxine lies for a
pregnant 13-year-old Muslim girl.
Episode 30
While
the detectives investigate the murder of fashion
entrepreneur David Goldman, Charlie and Virginia come to
blows over Charlie's sloppy detective work.
Episode 31
Bill
and Deakin are called to a stabbing at a road accident
involving Deakin's sister-in-law, Wendy and his nephew.
Things get much worse when Wendy is killed in another
accident.
Episode 32
Bill
and Charlie search for a girl who went missing while
selling charity chocolates. They discover that her
babysitter's friend, Colin is a known paedophile and
suspect he has something to do with the disappearance.
Episode 33
Bill
and Charlie attend a domestic where Bill sees a father,
Sean, hit his son. When Sean is found murdered, Bill is
put on the case and discovers there is more to it than he
thought.
Episode 34
Bill
is at odds with the head of a special squad after its
members raid a house and kill an innocent ab-orginal man
in front of his sister and young son.
Episode 35
Charlie
goes undercover in an attempt to crack a drugs and
extortion racket operated by a property developer, an
underworld heavy and a federal cop.
Episode 36
Charlie
puts in for a promotion but his new job is jeopardising
his relationship with Maxine. George maes Charlie an
offer he hopes he can't refuse.
Episode 37
Vince,
disenchanted with the futility of his work at the crisis
centre, successfully defends a high-profile murder case
and restores belief in himself, only to discover that his
client was guilty.
Episode 38
Bill
is forced to treat a fellow cop, Ian, as a suspect when
he comes out and discloses his relationship to the victim
during the investigation of a gay brothel murder.
Episode 39
Bill
and Charlie investigate Landow, an old rival suspected of
being behind the importation of large amounts of cocaine
through his racing stables.
Episode 40
Bill
is furious with Maxine for not telling his his son is
back. Bill meets with Nick and discovers the truth about
his reasons for returning
