FROM THE FILES OF THE "SECRET SERVICE"

As we approach the "half-way point" of Reign XVI of the RSIC of All Kentucky we are pleased to report that all is well within the empire. Reign XVI has thus far continued the success established by Empress Natalie and Emperor Paul by donating substantial
funds to local charities thus far in 1997 with our largest fundraisers such as the Faux Oscars and the coronation ball planned for 1998.  While we have continued the financial success of the organization, I am also pleased that the court has expanded its base of support to include more gay friendly businesses and organizations than ever before.  From the highly successful closet ball held at the Bar Complex and the toga party at Crossings to our monthly shows at Vertigo and cocktails with the court at the Watering Hole, we have firmly planted our feet in the Lexington gay community.  We are also anticipating a December fundraising extravaganza at Club 141 as well as a joint fundraiser with Ebony Male in the spring.  It was our pleasure to recently participate in a networking meeting sponsored by the GLSO, which sought to bring together local organizations in an effort to increase awareness and community support.  We believe that the RSIC's dedication to consistently presenting entertaining and professional benefits and tradition of helping those in need had led to our ability to "court" these businesses and organizations.  In the remaining six months of this reign, we look forward to the continued relationship between the court and the Lexington gay community and will continue to strive to build new relationships. On a lighter note, we would like to welcome Princess Royale 14 Leigh Angelique into Her Majesty's Secret Service as Secret Agent 010, and wish Prince Michael Barlow, Duke Jeff Jones and Marquise Kevin Fillips happy November birthdays.  The files from the secret service are now closed, and remember, someone may be watching you.....

BEST WISHES TO DALLAS

Congratulations to the newly elected monarchs of Dallas.  On October 25 the
Imperial Court of Dallas crowned Emperor Maverick and Empress Donna Dumae.  Donna is also the King Mother of Reign XVI of the
RSIC of All Kentucky.  The court wishes the newly crowned royalty a successful year.

COURT COUNCIL MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

The council of the RSIC of All Kentucky runs
the day to day operations of the organization and meets every two weeks at the Pride Center of the Bluegrass located on Waller Avenue in Lexington.  November meetings are scheduled for the eighth and the twenty-second at 5:00 PM.  These meetings are open to the public so feel free to attend -- your input would be greatly appreciated.

SECOND SATURDAYS SIZZLE AT VERTIGO

The benefits sponsored by the Royal Sovereign Imperial Court of All Kentucky are the hottest tickets on the second Saturday, each month. Entertainers from Lexington, Louisville and Cincinnati regularly appear.  In between sets, the dance floor is HOT with your favorite dance tunes. There are prizes donated by local sponsors and plenty of suprises.

September sizzled with the Emperor's Follies; $300.00 was raised for AVOL. In October, the Pink Ribbon Ball raised $400.00 for the Y.W.C.A. Spouse Abuse Center.

November's benefit features our favorite performers from Cincinnati & Lexington.  Empress 6 of Cincinnati Christina Blake & Empress 7 of Cincinnati Oxana Da'Bull, will bring two more of Cincinnati's finest performers, south, on I-75 - destination, The Pride Center Gala at Vertigo, on November 8th. Local entertainers will include Empress 16 Chanda Lier & Imperial Princess Royale 16 Mika Milano, along with several other of Reign 16's finest Entertainers. Prizes will once again be raffled.
