Bentzion Eliezer
Bentsion Eliezer (1920 - 1993) was born in Sofia. He graduated from the State Academy of Music, where he studied composition with professors Hadjiev and Dimitrov and later had a long tenure as a music theory professor. He was conductor of the Pop Music orchestra at Sofia Radio (1955 -1960) and conductor of the orchestra of the State Satiric Theatre (1956 - 1958).
Among his works are Dobroudja Suite (1956), Fantasy for piano and pop symphony orchestra (1962), chamber and solo piano music, many solo and children�s songs, pop and scene music, folk song arrangements, etc.
