Promises Unbroken Trailer
by Robin
True friendships never really die . . .
Four boys standing side by side, smiling and waving at the camera. They are Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs.
And family isn't defined by blood.
Slowly, the boys grow older. The lines deepen on James' face. Sirius' hair grows longer and he sports a goatee. Peter stands taller and more confident, ceasing to glance nervously around himself. Remus fills out, and smiles more.
It's made strong by bonds that won't break.
Gradually, Sirius Black fades from the picture. The others, along with Lily and a baby Harry, gather on a hill at Godric's Hollow, in front of a black pillar with a six-pointed gold star on top. They are saying goodbye.
Tempered and tested by trials and pain.
Remus bursts into a small flat, seeing chaos and signs of a battle that had been lost.
REMUS: Sirius?
His face contorts with anguish. Remus' eyes fill with tears, and he drops to his knees.
What we are is brothers, and as such we remain.
James sits across from Albus Dumbledore.
DUMBLEDORE: All they know is that he was taken to Voldemort.
JAMES: What else aren't you saying?
DUMBLEDORE (sighs): All we can do is hope for it to end.
Loyal to one another until the end.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione sit in a compartment on the Hogwarts express.
HERMIONE: I read about someone named Potter in there, too. James Potter, I think. Are you related to him?
HARRY: Yeah, that's my Dad. He's an Auror.
And no matter what happens between this moment and then
An explosion rocks Muggle London. At Hogwarts, Remus Lupin approaches the Gryffindor Table.
REMUS: It's your father, Harry. There was a Death Eater ambush. He's in St. Mungo's.
I shall always be grateful to have had such friends.
Remus stands alone in a secret passageway, running his fingers along a name carved into the wall.
REMUS: I won't forget, Padfoot. None of us will.

Now on the sugarquill.
