Year 1925 Tanya had married Nicholas Nephlite Thompson during the year 1921.They are now a happily married couple with Tanya expecting.... "Nicholas...I'm so excited about the baby...."she said happily. Nicholas smiled at his wife and said,"I am too darling.He or she feels like a fiesty one.Just can't wait to get out and see the world can you??" he joked towards Tanya's stomach. Tanya laughed and patted her tummy..."Little one,if you can hear me, Mama and Poppa love you."she smiled. Suddenly,the smile on Tanya's face disappeared and changed into a painful one... "Tanya??Are you alright??"asked Nicholas with a worried look on his face. "Neph,I-I think the baby's about to be born..."said Tanya. Nicholas stared franticly at his wife.She had never called him by his middle name before...he ran towards the phone and asked for an ambulance. Next,he returned to his wife's side..."Okay now honey...don't worry, the ambulance will be here in plenty of time to take you to the hospital." assured her husband.. Tanya nodded. "Okay...breathe,breathe..."said Nicholas. Tanya took a few short gasps and pants. Luckily,the ambulance arrived pretty fast and took Tanya to the hospital. Nicholas paced around the delivery waiting room.Scared for his wife and child... Tanya's parents and sister-in-law with her son came rushing into the room... "How is she???"gasped her parents. "I don't know...she's been in labor for four hours only so far."said Nicholas. Minalle went over to her brother-in-law's side.."Don't worry,I'm sure Mako can make it through just fine..."said Mina smiling. "Mama...will Aunt Tanya be okay??"asked Mina's son. Mina turned towards her son.Tears started to well up in her eyes.. everytime she saw her little boy,he would remind her of her dead husband. But she loved her son dearly so..."Yes she will,Richard...your aunt Tanya is sure to be alright.."said Mina smiling wiping her tears. Mina hugged her young 4 year-old son,Richard Andrews II.She smiled at him. Young Richard smiled back and hugged his mother again. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After quite awhile.... The doctor burst out of the ward,hours later... Nicholas quickly went over to as of his wife's condition. The doctor had a tired but happy look on his face."Congratulations Dr.Thompson,your wife has just given birth to twins.A girl and a boy."said the doctor."Your wife is also fine,tired but fine.." This lit a smile on all the family members."Oh thank you so much doctor!! Can we see her??"asked Nicholas. The doctor shook his head."'Fraid not,she's exhausted and is resting... but you CAN see you newborn children."said the doctor smiling. Nicholas nodded and the family followed Nicholas towards the nusery ward. "Look,there they are!!"exclaimed Nicholas to his in-laws. The whole family was happy about the birth of two beautiful twins into the family... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Year 1950, A young girl and boy,not more than the age of 22 with deep emerald eyes and midnight blue and dark brown wavy hair walked about laughing. "Do you suppose mama will be angry with us for missing lunch??"asked the girl. "No,I told mama not to make us lunch.I told her we'd be having a picnic with friends."said the boy. "Look!There's Amy and the rest now!!"exclaimed the girl. The people sitting by the lake and listening to pop music looked up when the heard their friend's voices. "Hi Lita!!"exclaimed a voice. "Hell-lo girl!!Selena,what can I say,??You look groovy!!"exclaimed Lita. "She does doesn't she??"asked another voice."How are you Greg!!??" Lita smirked."Brother here is okay."said Lita. "When did YOU become my voice sis???"asked Greg. "Since you got that groovy peace sign pendent and won't let me wear it." joked his sister. "Settle for a daisy??"asked the same voice. "Just kidding Endy!!Thanks for the offer of the daisy,but it won't go with my tie-dye T-shirt."said Lita smiling. Greg had already walked over to Amy,and the rest of the gang just lay lazily about. "Hey Lita,meet my cousin Nephrite Patson."said Endy. "Nice to meet you Neph."said Lita smiling."I'm Lita Thompson.That over there is my twin brother Greg Thompson."said Lita smiling. At that moment,Jade McKillian turned up the music on the radio...taking hold of his girlfriend, Rayene Flaming,started to dance... "Hey everybody!!!Let's dance!!!"shouted Jade. Everybody cheered and got up and started dancing.Nephrite and Lita had gotten off to a fantastic or in those days....groovy start. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Hi Lita.We're gonna go over to the school and help paint a mural for the east wall.."said Rayene. "That drabby old wall??Groovy.About time someone painted that drab thing." said Lita smiling. "Want to join us??"asked Selena. "Sorry,can't...I'm meeting Nephrite here so we can go to the beach and help with the clean up crew.A nasty oil spill."said Lita. "Okay....be seeing you Li..."said Endy. "See you."replied Lita. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Year 1953, At the age of 25,Lita was well-known enviromentalist in the town.She'd give whatever help she could.The rest of the gang,like Selena,Endy,Greg,Amy, Rayene,Jade,Mina,Mal and Nephrite were proud to call her a friend.They too were enviromentalist's. Nephrite went over towards Lita."Excellent speech Lita!!"cried Nephrite. "Really Neph???Thanks."smiled Lita. Her friends went over to hug her."That was wonderful...now who's up for pizza???"asked Endy. Everybody smiled."Aye!!" "The ayes have it!!Let's head over to Rhonda's!!!"exclaimed Endy. The group settled down in a wide back booth. Selena smiled at her husband. Endy smiled back."Selena...they're playing our favourite song!!Care to dance???" "Why,I'd love to..."grinned Selena. Soon....only Nephrite and Lita were left in the booth,the rest had gone onto the floor to dance. "Lita,...."said Nephrite. "Hmm???What is it Neph?"asked Lita. "I just want to tell you,I admire you and I love you."mumbled Nephrite,his cheeks begining to colour. Lita smiled,blushing."That's sweet Nephrite...I love you too."said Lita. *Oh god...did I just SAY that??????*thought Lita. "Well,I just wanted to...."mumbled Nephrite.*Come on....Spit it out Neph!* his mind shouted. "W-Will you marry me Lita??"asked Nephrite. "Oh my....I-I don't know what to say."blushed Lita.*Just say yes stupid!* her brain shouted. "I-I....Yes."said Lita blushing even more. Nephrite looked up and smiled."You will???"asked Nephrite. "Yes."replied Lita,sure of her decision. Nephrite smiled.."Care to dance m'lady??"asked Nephrite. "You know...I think life might actually be interesting."mused Lita. Nephrite smiled."Hmmm...I guess.."he drawled lazily. Mina,her maid of honor laughed."Hey love birds!!I believe it's time to cut the cake!!" "Me thinks you just can't wait to eat,Mina!!"teased Lita. Selena and Rayene,were arguing as usual..."Well I never."huffed Mina. Lita gave a giggle.Looking up at her husband,"Hmm...Lita Thompson Patson. Quite a funny sounding name." "I think it's lovely."said Nephrite smiling.He leaned down to kiss her cheek. Selena walked towards Lita."Looks like we're cousin-in-laws."laughed Selena. Lita smiled."I wouldn't have it any other way." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1956, Two years passed...Lita was now pregnant with child.She sat in the hospital,holding her husband's hand. The date,18 October 1956.....Lita had just reached the hospital and awaited the birth of the baby.... Several hours later.... A tired doctor exited the labor room.Nephrite with a worried and tired look on his face. The doctor nodded at Nephrite.Quickly,he burst into the ward where Lita lay. Nephrite stared at his wife sadly.Her face pale from the lack of blood. Lita tried to smile weakly."Nephrite..."she whispered. Nephrite shushed her with a finger.He went to sit beside her. The doctor had told him,his wife had given birth to a baby girl.He'd been overjoyed.But the doctor had bad news to tell too... Lita T.Patson had lost a lot of blood during the labor and physically, looking strong and healthy,was a facade.The truth was,Lita wasn't a very strong person and losing so much blood was fatal to her.... "Neph,where's our daughter...??I would like to see her.."said Lita weakly. "Shhhhh....later darling..rest now."whispered Nephrite. "No..I know I'm not for long in the world...I can feel it..the icy cold darkness...I'm losing the battle...I never was a very strong person."coughed Lita. "No you're not."said Nephrite firmly.He felt tears begin to sting his eyes sharply. "Please...you don't need to act Neph,...I know it myself.I'm happy....I managed to live my life to the fullest...I found YOU...my only regret is not being able to be with our daughter...watch her grow up."said Lita softly smiling. "Lita...She needs you...I-I need you..."cried Nephrite. Lita just smiled."But I can't stay love..."whispered Lita sadly."Now..let me see my little girl.."said Lita smiling. Nephrite nodded. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lita felt a little bundle in her arms.She smiled at the bundle."Makoto... Mama's sorry she won't be able to see you grow up."whispered Lita sadly. Nephrite felt his heart break whenever Lita talked like that.He felt tears fall,but made no move to wipe them. "Mama loves you very much Mako...Listen to Daddy okay??"said Lita. "Lita..."whispered Nephrite hoarsely. Lita looked up sadly,tears in her eyes."I just know you'll bring her up nicely Neph...Raise her with all the love you have...the love I can't give." croaked Lita staring at her husband's face."Promise me..." "Lita...don't talk like that..." "Promise me..."said Lita more forcefully.. "I promise..."whispered Nephrite in defeat. Lita gave him a weak smile."I love you,Nephrite..."she managed weakly. "I love you too..."whispered Nephrite. Nephrite reached out to take her hand.He held it tightly while gazing on his wife's dying face.He loved her dearly... Lita turned her attention back to her newborn daughter...Makoto. She smiled,teased and laughed lightly.Tears falling from her eyes.... "Nephrite..."whispered Lita. "Lita,What's wrong??"he asked franticly. "Love our daughter Nephrite....Tell her how much I loved her,and why I left when she's old enough to understand..."whispered Lita weakly. "Lita??"said Nephrite confused. Nephrite held her hand tightly. "Remember....I love you always Nep-* "said Lita,her hand going limp. "Lita!!"screamed Nephrite. The doctor and nurses rushed in.Trying to resuscitate her. Finally...after a few tries... "I'm sorry Mr.Patson.She's gone...."broke the doctor. Nephrite could only hold his daughter and cry...mourning over his dead love...one who'd gone before him at such a young age. Nephrite looked at the bundle that was his daughter....tears still streaming down his eyes.. "Makoto....looks like it's just you and me from now on.Mama's gone ahead. But you know...Mama loved you little darling..."whispered Nephrite holding the bundle gently.It was all that was left of his beloved wife.. He stared at the tiny bundle.She had a tuff of rich chestnut coloured hair like him,but startling green eyes that belonged to his late wife. He kissed his daughter lightly on the cheek.
