In a Makoto Memories Story.... Lita Carol Cunningham was a young woman by the age of 16 who came from England to the New World,America..... In the year 1895,Lita Cunningham left her home in England to travel to America to gain freedom... When she stepped on land,of America,she'd rejoiced..... The year 1896, Lita Cunningham roamed the countryside as a washer woman.. One autumn's day,she was saved by a young man named Ken Blake when she fell off her horse which had been startled by his dogs when he was hunting.... Ken Blake felt responsible and took care of her through the cold long winter months... Spring came....Both Lita and Ken had fallen in love with each other... Ken's father dissaproved of them... On the day the two lovers tried to elope,they were caught....and Ken's father Lord Blake threathened to send Lita to jail if she did not stop seeing his son. Lord Blake gave her an alternative...leave the town forever or be sentenced to a life of imprisonment for ten years... Lord Blake sent Lita away to a different state....and told his son that Lita had left with another man...Ken was heartbrokenned by never did forget Lita Cunningham his first love..... Years later.... Lita Cunningham married a young man by the name of Lord Andrews....and had a daughter and a son...Lita named her daughter Tanya Makoto Andrews where the boy was named Richard Andrews.... Tanya studied in boarding school for young ladies.In the same town,there was another school for young gentlemen... Richard studied there....and had met two brothers by the name of Blake. Summer, "You know Richard,it's very nice of you to invite my younger brother and me to your summer house to sppend vacation with your sister and her friend." said Marcus Shino Blake...He was older than his twin by 5 minutes. "It's nothing...my parents allowed us to stay for the summer.Besides,both are my best friends!!"said Richard happily. Marcus and Bruce smiled.They chatted for the next hour until their carriage arrived at the summer house... "Nice place you have here Richard..."said Bruce.Marcus nodded agreeing with his brother. "Thanks..."said Richard."TANYA!!!"he cried out. "Rich?"asked a sweet voice. A young girl with brown wavy hair and sparkling green eyes came out of the house with a pretty blue eyed blond... "Tanya!!!"said Richard. "Richie!!It's so good to see you!!!"cried the girl hugging the tall green- eyed Richard. Marcus noted though their hair colour was slightly different,Richard had a lighter more sandy-brown but they had the same green eyes... "Tanya,I'd like you to meet my best friends,Marcus Shino Blake and Bruce Alec Blake..."said Richard smiling. The girl turned towards them and smiled. "Marcus,Bruce,I'd like you to meet my sister,Tanya Makoto Andrews."said Richard. Marcus and Bruce smiled.Marcus felt tongue tied...Of course his brother lacked that..."Makoto?Funny name...almost like my brother's middle name Shino..."said Bruce laughing. Tanya blushed."Brother,I'd like you to meet my friend Minalle Hart,"said Tanya. Richard smiled."Nice to meet you Minalle.."said Richard. "Oh no,please call me Mina."said Minalle smiling shyly."It goes for all of you.."she said teasingly. Marcus and Bruce laughed and nodded..."Alright."said the three of them simultaneously. The next few weeks.... Bruce spent a lot of time with Tanya.Marcus fumed...jealous. "So Bruce,you like her?"asked Marcus. "Oh,she's nice I guess..."said Bruce."She's shy.. a lot like you..but I like her...she's so beautiful..."said Bruce grinning. Marcus raised and eyebrow."Somebody Bruce Alec Blake finally likes?"he asked laughing. Bruce smacked his arm."Quit being a big tease brother!"said Bruce laughing out. One night... Bruce and Tanya had a fight and Tanya ran to the beach next to the summer house.... Marcus went after her.... "Tanya?"asked Marcus. No answer... "It's me Marcus..."he said aloud. "Go away Marcus...."echoed Tanya's voice.... Marcus saw a huddled figure under a coconut tree..."Tanya...come on..don't be angry at Bruce..."said Marcus soothingly. "Go away..I don't need to see Bruce's twin!"she cried. Marcus could see her teary eyes which glittered in the moonlight... Marcus sat down next to her surprising Tanya.She said nothing.... At last..."Marcus...."she whispered. Marcus looked up."What is it Tanya?"asked Marcus."Thank you..."she said audibly... "For what Tanya?"he asked puzzled. "For staying with me.."she whispered as tears ran down her face. Hesitantly,Marcus reached up and wiped the tears from Tanya's face.... "Don't cry Tanya...don't cry.."he whispered in her ear. Tanya hugged him as she cried more. Marcus held her for a moment.... Tanya felt safe,warm and loved for the first time in a long time.... Tanya looked up into Marcus's eyes.Such a warm midnight blue....blue which coloured the sky at night which looked like black velvet with shimmering diamonds on it.... Marcus leaned down and kissed her.Tanya kissed him back...... She briefly wondered how she ever thought Bruce was the right twin for her whilst Marcus briefly wondered how he ever survived without Tanya Andrews... The two met often.When they returned to their studies,they kept in touch with each other.One week after they parted from the summer house to return to their school hostels,Tanya recieved a letter....from Bruce Blake. He wanted to make up and wrote he loved her.Tanya was torn...who was she to choose? The following holidays were spent in the Alps...her brother had asked her to bring some friends.She partly dreaded it for she knew a holiday away from parents meant something to do with the Blake brothers.... Alps... Marcus was looking forward to meet Tanya again.He didn't know his brother had sent a letter to Tanya wanting to make up with her for the fight. Tanya decided to bring a few friends with her to the slopes. "Richard!"cried Tanya hugging her brother."Hey Tanya..how are you??"asked Richard. "I'm fine...let me introduce you to some of my friends!You already know Minalle,this is Serena Young,Amy Robertson and Raychelle Peters."said Tanya smiling. "Pleased to meet all of you.I'm afraid the men have gone skiing without you...they should be back soon."said Richard. The five girls broke into laughter. "What's the laughter about?"asked a voice.Tanya turned to see the Blake brothers and a few other young men stepping into the house with their ski's. Richard smiled."Cocoa anyone?"he asked. "I'd like some Rich."said the young man with dark midnight hair."Coming up in a second."said Richard smiling. Later, "Girls,I'd like to introduce you to my few best friends!This is Darien Sanders,"he said pointing to the man before."The Blake brothers,which Tanya already knows,Chadwick Slayton and Greg Waterson."said Richard. They smiled and shook hands. "Rich,how about we head down to the town disco?"asked Tanya.(This is the 20's)"Tanya,you know mother does not like you going down to those pub places in the town areas.All those hooligans and riffraff."said Richard frowning. "Mother's not here...besides,my friends and I would like to see the town." said Tanya smiling. Richard was about to say something else when Marcus spoke up."Why not.. c'mon Richard..don't be a spoilsport."said Marcus.Bruce nodded. "Well,we could take them.."said Darien to Richard as he walked into the den with Chadwick and Greg. Richard sighed in defeat..."If you're all going...I'm going along!"said Richard. "Cheer up...no need to be sad.It's not like anybody will attack all of us togther."said Greg smiling. Richard just shook his head. At the disco's.... Tanya and her friends were left alone for a period of time."You know Mina, I think Richard likes you."said Tanya. "No way..."said Mina.Serena nodded in agreement."I agree with Tanya."said Serena. "Oh?"said Mina."Well I think you like Darien Sanders don't you?"asked Mina.Raychelle giggled,Tanya held back a laugh,while Amy shook her head in exasperation. Serena shot Raychelle a dirty look."Well,I think Chadwick has an interest in Raye..."said Serena. Raye's mouth dropped open."No possible way!"said Raye."I believe so."said Amy. Raye scowled at Amy."I believe Greg Waters finds you interesting."said Raye causing Amy to blush. "Hold it..hold it...lets call a truce here girls.You might start screaming and the men will know what subject we're talking about."said Tanya laughing. "So Tanya,I believe both the Blake brothers have an interest in you."said Serena prodding her friend. Tanya's face flushed a pale pink."I-I...like them both..as friends."said Tanya quickly. "Really??????Tanya Makoto Andrews...you cannot lie to four of your best friends girl.."said Mina. At that moment,Darien walked over and asked Serena for a dance causing her to blush but she accepted. Serena turned to look at her friends who gave her encouraging winks and smiles. "As we were saying..." began Mina. "Minalle,may I have a dance?"asked Richard. Mina turned to face him and her mouth dropped."Oh...okay."she said a bit dazed. Tanya just laughed and smiled at her brother mouthing a thank you. Soon,Tanya was left sitting alone.She smiled as she watched her friends dance. Bruce came over to ask her.She nodded. After the dance....Tanya lead Bruce outside...... "Bruce,I have to tell you something."said Tanya. "What is it Tanya?"asked Bruce. "I think we shouldn't get back together...you're just not my type...I'm sorry..."said Tanya slowly. Bruce stared dumbfounded."Wh-What???"he stuttered. "I mean,I don't think we're right for each other."said Tanya. "I-I understand..."said Bruce. "I'm sorry....but just because we can't be boyfriend and girlfriend, doesn't mean we can't be good friends."said Tanya earnestly. "Bruce...why so angry?"asked Marcus. "Why so angry?WHY so angry????You jerk...I'll tell you why...because I now know your bloody secret!!!!"shouted Bruce. "What???"said Marcus confused. "You kept a correspondance with Tanya.You stole her away from me."cried Bruce. Marcus gasped."How did you know????"asked Marcus. Bruce snorted."You thought I wouldn't find your little stash in the barn, huh??"asked Bruce. "I-I..wanted to tell you but I-I didn't know ho-"began Marcus when Bruce's fist connected with Marcus's jaw. Marcus flew to the floor.Marcus wiped some blood off his split lip. "Dammit Bruce...I didn't mean to hurt you!!"cried Marcus. Bruce scowled.."I'll never forgive you for this."said Bruce before storming out of the room. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Year 1918,(WW1) Tanya said goodbye to Marcus for he'd been called away for the wars. Bruce had gone a few months earlier.Richard was leaving the same day as Marcus.... "Marcus,please take care of my brother..."said Tanya. "I will Tanya.I promise."said Marcus as he kissed her one last time. Tanya watched as her brother hugged his wife,Minalle.Mina was pregnent and her belly had begun to swell. Tanya looked on as Mina cried hysterically as the truck started to leave. A single tear fell from her eye. Months later... Tanya decided to become a nurse on the battlefield.Her parents reluctantly agreed. Mina,with her now prominent belly said goodbye to her sister-in-law. Tanya trained hard and finally passed as a nurse.She was assigned to a camp in a small village town area. The casualties were tremendous. A month later, Tanya recieved word from her home town Bruce Alec Blake had been killed in action...( KIA ) Tanya was shocked.She knew from Marcus that the two brothers never made up and now they had no chance to make up with each other.... She felt sorry for the two brothers. "Tanya."said a voice. "What?"said Tanya snapping out of her own world. "Is anything wrong?"asked the young man. "Oh no,Dr Thompson."said Tanya. "Nicholas,Tanya...Nicholas."said Dr Thompson. Tanya giggled."Of course...Nicholas..silly me."said Tanya still laughing. Dr Nicholas Nephlite Thompson was the doctor stationed at the camp,and had become good friends with Tanya Makoto Andrews.Nicholas had needed help with a patient and non of the other nurses were around.It was so happen that Tanya had just arrived and managed to help Nicholas.From there,they became fast friends. A year later... Tanya had returned home.Nicholas was in town to visit his sister. Tanya's parents,Mina with her young son and Tanya waited eagerly at the train station waiting for Marcus and Richard. When the train came,only Marcus stepped out...no Richard. Mina was stricken."Richard....?"she asked hopefully. Marcus shook his head sadly."I'm sorry to inform you,Richard was killed trying to save a civilian.I'm so sorry."said Marcus quietly. Mina started crying and Tanya's parents tried to comfort Mina. Tanya could only stare at Marcus in shock. "Y-You promised you'd take care of Richard.You promised...."whispered Tanya,shocked her brother was dead. "I'm sorry Tanya...your brother took the bullet for the civilian."said Marcus looking on the ground. "You promised......"whispered Tanya. "Now...Richard is dead...his son will never see his father neither will Richard be able to see his son...Why..?" she asked quietly as tears started to flow. "Tanya..."began Marcus. "Why were YOU the only one to return???Bruce didn't make it...RICHARD did not make it...they both didn't make it back home!!They were the ones with the families!!Yet YOU were the one to make it back....God I can't face you Marcus...I can't face you ever again..."said Tanya. "What??Tanya why..."began Marcus. "You don't understand do you??I can't ever face you again because every time I look at you...I'll think of my brother...I'm sorry Marcus,I'm sorry!" she cried running away from the train station,her parents and Mina watched as she ran.... Marcus watched Tanya disappear through the people as the sky darkened and a clap of thunder filled the air... "No Tanya...I'm sorry."he whispered... Later... Tanya awoke in a hospital."Wha..."she began. "Hey there...glad you're begining to wake up."said a voice. "Huh...?Who?"said Tanya. As her vision cleared...she saw a gentle face... "Nicholas...,where am I?"asked Tanya. "In a hospital..."said Nicholas. "What am I doing here?"asked Tanya. "Nothing except here for two days because of a very high fever.."said Nicholas jokingly. Tanya smiled."Do my parents know?"she asked. "Yes..I informed them when you were brought in by an old man who found you unconcious and cold in the rain.Mind teling me why?"he asked. "Long story...thank you Nicholas."said Tanya smiling.
