Or I'm unimaginative...hee hee :) My apologies to Crystal heart.... <:( *denotes thought Queen Serenity shut her eyes as Metallia demanded that she obeyed and turn to the side of the Dark Kingdom. "Never!!Please stop this!!"cried Serenity towards her Aunt, twin sister of Selene the goddess of the Moon. Metallia let out a cruel laugh."I shall kill you then!!"she said evilly. Serenity waited for the pain to take her.But it never did...for Serenity's husband Solaris had taken the blast himself."NOOOooooooooo...."screamed Serenity.Metallia just laughed."Well,looks like Solaris died for you, But I'll be back someday....."she said laughing evilly. Serenity didn't hear her but instead cradled the body of her dying husband in her arms."Solaris....please don't leave me."she weeped."You must be strong Serenity."he said in a whisper.He then died. Serenity cried out his name.Taking a jewelled dagger from his belt,she got ready to plunge it into her.But a bright light stopped her.... "Mother....."whispered Serenity.Selene walked towards her."Serenity..." said Selene."Why did you stop me!!!??"she screamed out. "Serenity,You must be strong...for your people,for you and for your child within you."said Selene. "M-My child?"whispered Serenity."Yes,your child.You must be wary.You must protect her from Metallia."said Selene in a firm tone.Serenity nodded.Her child deserved to have a life.Selene embraced her daughter."Be strong Serenity.Your people need you."she whispered then dissapeared. Serenity patted her tummy....*Solaris my love,I will protect our child for it is the only thing I have left of you....* Serenity stared at the little bundle that was her child.She had blue eyes and golden-blond strands of hair.*Like Solaris.*she thought to herself. Serenity had named the baby Serena.Serenity stared at the Queens of other planets surrounding her holding their babies,their daughters....They were going to save them.Save the new generation from the evil...Metallia. Serenity placed each baby in their respective baskets which were made of gold,jewels and fine silks.Each Queen kissed and took one last look at their little daughters.Praying....They were sending them to Earth.To be raised and cared for...protected. On each child was a medallion hung around their necks which was in their royal colour and had their name and a symbol behind it.In the basket were notes to be given to the respective families that were to raise the children to become young women. ~~~~~~~ Serena Laurence smiled at her friend Jedite McKenzey while they fenced. "You're losing you know,"she smiled."And you think I'll concede defeat?Never Sere!"he said laughing.Serena was now a woman of 17 while Jedite was 19. They were waiting for the results of who was to become the Prince's guard. Serena missed her friends,Mina and Raye who decided to go to finishing school to try to be ladies-in-waiting for the Princess Amy. Nephrite and Kunzite came up to the two.At that moment,with two fluid strokes,Serena had Jedite disarmed and on the ground.Zoycite and Lita came up towards them.Lita with a sad look on her face.Kunzite Clefton was a scary and serious opponent.Nephrite Turner was honest and kind which they instantly became friends.Zoycite Fannings was intellectual and quiet.Serena had learned alot from him.Lita Clyoung was as tomboyish as Serena herself an enjoyed her company. "Lita?What's wrong?"asked Serena.Zoy looked sadly at them..."The Prince cancelled you both out of the final 6."he said.Serena froze and shouted... "WHATTTT!!!"screamed Serena.Kunzite and Jedite tried to calm the furious Serena down. "If you'll excuse me,I've got a Prince to kill..."said Serena."I'll follow you Sere!"said Lita. Prince Darien was practicing with his tutors.When the doors burst open. Two girls marched into the room.Darien was tired and could have mistaken them as boys who often got into many scrapes.Serena picked up a fencing sword and started to fence with the prince."Do you not know who I am???" asked the prince in a commanding tone.Serena frowned.."Oh,I do...But I don't acknowledge it...You took away the one thing that Lita and I worked go hard for!"she exclaimed. *So this was Serena Laurence and Lita Clyoung.The babarian women.*Serena disarmed him in three moves and pinned him to the ground.Then Queen Maia rushed into the room."Serena??"she said.Serena and Lita fell to the floor on one knee bowing in true respect."You may rise."said the Queen. After a discussion,the Queen finally told them they could serve as ladies-in-waiting for Princess Amy.But they had to attend finishing school. Mina hugged Serena and Lita telling them that finishing school wasn't hard and they would fly through the course easily.Serena smiled at her friend. Lita entered the building.Mina gestured for Serena to stop."Sere I haave something to tell you.I don't think I'm my parent's REAL daughter.I couldn't sleep a few years ago and overheard my parents talk about me and some gold basket with topaz's and amber lining."she whispered.Serena hugged her friend to comfort her."Well wherever you're from,remember..they may not be related to you by blood but their your parents all the same."said Serena. One year passed Lita and Serena were now qualified to be ladies-in-waiting to Princess Amy.They were now 18.Serena and Lita had grown and learned to become beautiful and graceful young ladies.Serena's golden hair shone in the warm sunlight which made it look like muted gold.Her sapphire blue eyes shone and sparkled with intelligence and wisdom.Love and warmth. Lita had now turned into a graceful tall girl.Her auburn hair shone with vitality while her emerald green eyes sparkled with happiness and strength. Prince Darien and his Generals,Kunzite,Jedite,Nephrite and Zoycite sat lounging and talking."I heard from one of the maids today that Serena and Lita are returning here."said Zoycite."Really?"asked Jedite.Darien looked up intrigued.*So the babarian women were back.*"So soon?"asked Darien looking at a calender."It's only been a year."he said again. Just then a knock sounded on the door.Darien moved back into the shadows where the door could not be seen.*Probably mother.*he thought.Kunzite had the exact same sentiments as Darien.It was probably the Queen... "Come in."he said in a firm voice."Hello guys."said two feminine voices. "SERENA??LITA??!! Wow! Nice getup!"said Nephrite.They gawked at them. Serena wore a pale pink silk dress and her hair pinned up while a couple of loose tendrils framed her pale face.Lita wore a forrest green satin dress while her hair was clipped in their usual ponytail.The dresses accented their womanly curves which were previously overlooked a long time ago. Serena and Lita talked to their old friends with apparent ease.Serena smiled and had kept on insulting the prince.In the far corner which was dark,the Prince felt his anger and felt his blood boil.The Generals were nervous and wondered if Darien had heard Serena's remarks. When Serena and Lita left...Darien stomped out of his hiding place with an angered look.His Generals burst out laughing.Darien scowled. "So Serena what took you so long?"asked Mina.Serena smiled."I went to get some roses,lilies,ivy,tigers and irises."said Serena.Raye clapped her hands, "Oooh good.Sere you have a dress that'll go perfect with the lilies!"said Raye."You went through my stuff already???"she said in shock.Lita was stifling a laugh."Somebody had to put your stuff away Sere."said Mina. Princess Amy walked in.."Hi Serena."said Amy."Ames.."said Serena.They hugged each other."Well we'll catch up on talking later.Right now we have a ball to get ready for."said Mina. Beryl fumed...what was happening?Two tomboys had just joined Princess Amy's lady-in-waitings.She should have a lady-in-waiting.Being the Queen's advisor for so long.She deserved it.But most of all...she wanted to be Queen of the Universe....and she'd met the person,who would help her. Serena didn't understand why her friends had said the dress was stunning. Sure it accented her curves and figure but what else was so glamorous?Her hair was pinned up with a silver tiara.All the ladies-in-waiting wore one. Tiny tendrils framed her pinkish-white face.A silver necklace graced her swan-neck and silver crescent moons for her earings.Little gloss on her sun-kissed lips.Her sapphire blue eyes finished off the rest of her look. She was nervous.Unlike Lita,Serena never learned to dance.But she decided she didn't want to go and wanted to play...'I don't feel well' A knock sounded on her door.Jed's head popped in."Hey,Kunz sent me to look for you when you didn't show up with the others."said Jedite. Serena shuffled nervously.Jedite grinned."C'mon.."he said tugging at her arm."What's wrong with you Sere?"he asked."I-I don't feel so good..."she said.Jedite stifled a laugh."Other from your lack of colour and shaking,you look fine."he said.Serena sighed.No way was she getting out."Okay,so I'm not sick.But promise me you won't allow anyone to dance with me."she said firmly.Jedite let an exasperated sigh."Okay Sere.Now shall we?"he asked Serena nodded and followed him down the corridor. Kunzite smiled at Serena as she walked up."So,you came.You look nice."he said.Serena smiled and fanned herself."Thanks."she whispered.Amy smiled at Serena."Your highness."said Serena curtseying.The generals bowed."Amy!" shouted Darien.Serena didn't bother to look and see what the jerk now looked like.Despite the fact that Raye said he was probably the hottest looking guy she knew.No way could a frog like him turn into a prince.Nephrite asked his friend Lita to dance.Jedite danced with Raye.Mina and Serena stood with Zoycite and Kunzite.Zoycite laughed."Looks like the Princess is being made to dance with her brother. Serena wrinkled her brow....she looked in the direction of Amy.*THAT WAS DARIEN!!!!???Yes he had become tall,dark and handsome.He had midnight black hair.His build was strong.He wore a uniform and with a black cape with blood red lining.Black boots and a sword attached to his belt.* Serena shook her head."Guys,we have to SAVE her!"said Serena.Zoycite looked at Serena."Uh-Sere,what's there to save?"he asked.Serena rolled her eyes and Mina giggled.*Zoy can be so dense sometimes.*thought Serena. "Save her from Darien you lunkhead!"she exclaimed.Kunzite smiled."Why?" he asked."Cause-Cause he's MEAN!!!"she nearly shrieked.Serena grabbed Zoy's hand and led him to the dance floor.Zoy cringed."Why me?"he asked.Serena gave him an exasperated look."BECAUSE...."she answered. After a few painful steps on his foot,Zoycite winced."Why me??Kunz was there.Besides Darien's her BROTHER!!!What's there to save????"he asked. "Because I love torturing you so Zoy."said Serena sweetly.Serena then delibrately put her heel kicking Darien's ankle. Darien cringed and spun around.He saw a beautiful blonde girl dancing with Zoycite."Princess Amy."said the girl curtseying.Amy smiled."Sere!"she said. Zoycite stared at Princess Amy and then Prince Darien."Prince Darien may I introduce to you one of your sister's ladies-in-waiting Serena Laurence." said Zoycite.Darien's smile was replaced by a fake one.*THIS WAS THE SKINNY GIRL WHO'D DARED FENCE AND CALL HIM NAMES???* Serena shot Zoycite a deadly look."Princess Amy,I'd like to introduce to you General Zoycite.He and I were just dancing."she said. Zoycite mumbled.."If you can call it dancing."he whispered.Serena pushed her elbow swiftly into his stomach catching him with and OOF!.Serena spun around."Oh I'm SOOOOO Sorry..."she said fakely.Amy walked towards Zoycite. "Are you all right?"she asked.Zoycite turned up to look into her blue eyes. He was drowning in them.Amy blushed."Here let me help you."she said guiding Zoycite away to the edge of the ballroom. Jedite came up to Serena."Since Zoycite isn't your partner,and is in NO condition to be,why don't you dance with His Highness?"he asked smirking. "Oh no...I'm new at this.So I won't impose."she said quickly.Raye came up beside Jedite."Oh,but Sere,you wouldn't want the Prince to be without a partner now would you?"she said grinning.Serena bit back the urge to scream at her friend."Why don't you then?"she asked.Raye shook her head."Oh,my partner is Jedite.Come along...let's dance some more."she said to Jedite. Jedite being the prankster he was nodded."Raye's right.Dance with the Prince Sere..."he said and pushed her into the Prince's arms.With that he picked up Raye's hand and guided her to the dance floor. Serena nearly slamed her face into his chest if it weren't for her arms bracing herself.Darien looked down confused and the looked towards Raye and Jedite.Serena noted to herself....*TWO PEOPLE ARE GOING To DIE!!!*her mind screamed. With that she shrugged and took the hand Darien offered.Darien's brain was echoing something similar to Serena's own.*KILL JEDITE McKENZEY!!!* After the ball,Serena entered the bedroom and saw the rest of them there. "Hi guys..."said Serena."Hi.."said 4 cheerful voices.Serena changed and went to bed.Before she did,she pulled out a medallion with a crescent moon symbol and hugged it to her chest,falling off to sleep. Two months had passed.Darien was pacing around in his room.*HE DID NOT LOVE HER!!!She was too stubborn and unlady-like.Then why did he have that stupid feeling whenever she was near????* That night,Serena awoke from a nightmare.The nightmare had beckoned her to the palace grounds.The gardens.Serena ran and reached the gardens.She saw a menacing figure floating in the air."WHO ARE YOU!!!"she shouted at her. "Such strength and power.You could be one of my greatest generals you know." said the woman.The cloak covering her face was lifted.Serena gasped."Beryl." she whispered. Beryl quickly did an incantation which froze Serena's movements.Beryl smiled an evil smile."Your power will be mine."she whispered.Serena fell feeling the icy cold darkness envelope her.Her eyesight became blurry.The only thing she could see was the bright moon shining down at her."Selene.... please..help me.."she croaked out.Beryl gave an evil laugh."Pathetic human! You cannot defeat me!!"she said laughing. Suddenly,a bright light from the moon shone down onto Serena enveloping her in a powerful warmth and strength.Serena's clothing changed into a white robe lined in gold and across her chest was a golden sash with white wordings embroided in them.Her hair was free from her ponytail. "NOW LEAVE ME BE!!!"she shouted as she hurled a ball of white energy at Beryl.She shrieked and cursed Serena then dissapearing. Serena stared down at herself.A golden crescent moon talisman hung from her neck.A voice beckoned her towards the Lake of Peace.There by the riverbank was a woman glowing. She wore a white gown with a crown of moonpearls in her silver hair.Serena bowed on her knee."Rise..."said the woman.Her voice was like ripples in the water. "Selene..."whispered Serena.Selene nodded."Why am I dressed like this? Why was Lady Beryl...."she began. Selene motioned for her to be quiet."Nineteen years ago the Queen of the Moon gave birth to her daughter without her aunt knowing.Her mother knowing she would be endangered if she stayed on the Moon Kingdom,sent her daughter to earth.With that child was sent four guardians to protect her."said Selene."In the prophecy,when Metallia found out,a young woman would be awaken to find the guardians and the princess known as the Maiden of the Moon.Tonight when you defeated Metallia's dark messenger,you have proven that you are no ordinary girl,therefore,you must be the Maiden."continued Selene. Serena was trying to digest the information.*Maiden of the Moon?Me?Find the guardians?The Moon Princess???* "I know this is very confusing,but you must find them,please.I also implore you to protect my daughter when she visits."said Selene.Serena stared.... ~FLASHBACK~ "Serena,did I tell you that the Moon Queen will be visiting us soon?" asked Princess Amy."The moon lady with the sad eyes?"she asked."That's the one." said Raye."I heard shes very powerful and beautiful.But sad."said Mina."So why are you telling us for?"asked Lita. ~END FLASHBACK~ "Queen Serenity?"asked Serena.Selene nodded."Each guardian has their own symbol engraved on a medallion."said Selene. "Oh?How am I suppose to find the medallions?Ask them..'Hey,do you have a medallion with a weird symbol?'"asked Serena.Selene smiled at Serena's sarcasticness."You will see,when they awaken..."said Selene and vanished. Serena woke the next morning with a terrible headache.Lita entered her room and tugged at her pillow."C'mon Sere...wake up!"she said loudly. Serena cringed..."Ugggh.."she responded. There was a comotion in the throne room as Serena entered."Queen Maia, what is happening?"asked Serena curtseying. "Oh,I can't find my advisor Beryl anywhere..."said Quen Maia.Serena's eyes darkened...."She probably left then.If you'll excuse me my Queen..." said Serena hard. "Oh Serena,I want YOU to help my son with the preparations for the arrival of Queen Serenity."said Queen Maia. Serena bit back the urge to scream a very loud WHAT!!!!"Yes your majesty." she said.Darien too had been shocked to hear that Serena Laurence would be the one helping him with the arrival of Queen Serenity. They argued through the whole thing and nearly kissed twice too.This game was getting too dangerous. "NO!That bottle of champagne is better!"screamed Serena."Well we haven't tried that bottle yet.It's not opened yet!"he said.Serena sighed.... "FINE!I'll open it!!"she exclaimed grabbing the bottle. She popped the bottle cork off too hard and the champagne shooted out and spilled on her hands.Serena was fuming that time. Darien chuckled and helped her up from the floor.He lifted up her hands to his lips...and chuckled."Well,it seems there aren't proper glasses nor is there enough champagne to taste."he said and kissed her fingertips. Serena gasped.She stared deep into his midnight blue eyes.*WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING??!!*screamed her mind.*WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING DARIEN!?!* screamed Darien's mind.But their bodies didn't seem to respond.Then the ballroom doors burst open breaking the spell.Much to their dissapointment and relief.Mina and Lita were giggling at their antics. That night,Serena sighed in relief.2 more days and the Moon Queen would arrive.Serena slipped into her bed and fell asleep. That night,Serena was again tormented by a dream...a nightmare.Serena awoke and got out of bed,waking Lita. Lita watched as Serena walked out of the bedroom.*What's she up too?* wondered Lita.She then got out of bed and followed the blonde. Serena ran out towards the garden."LEAVE HERE!!!"she cried out.Beryl smirked and pushed her palms down,constricting the air with a tight darkness which pricked Serena's lungs.Serena gasped. "LEAVE HER ALONE!!"shouted Lita driving a swift elbow into Beryl's stomach.Beryl snarled and blasted Lita.Serena was just recovering when she saw Lita in Beryl's clutches,bruised and hurt badly."NO!!!"she screamed. Lita's mind grew fuzzy and her vision began to blur.The white light was so bright.But the darkness was quickly smothering her.*NO!!I MUST FIGHT!* shouted Lita's mind. At that instant,a green sign flashed upon Lita's forehead.Serena recognized the symbol as the Roman symbol of Jupiter.The Jupiter 4.Then, a burst of electrical charges shot out at Beryl.Releasing Lita from her grasp. Beryl scowled.Her whole body ached.At that time Serena had become the Maiden of the Moon and held a glowing orb of light at her hands.Lita fell into unconciousness just after seeing her friend dressed in white robes. A voice entered Beryl's mind.....*Retreat Beryl.You will have another chance ......*said the voice. Beryl stiffly acknowledged her mistress and dissapeared in a swirl of dark mist. Serena rushed over to her friend.Then dissapeared with her as she headed for the Lake. Selene stood there waiting."Serena,who is this?"she asked."My friend.She was attacked when she came to help me."said Serena. Serena looked at Selene."Selene,I am curious.Lita somehow unleashed some sort of electrical charges at Beryl and there was a symbol on her forehead." she continued. Selene knitted her brow."What symbol?"she asked."The Roman symbol of Jupiter emblazoned in green."replied Serena. Selene gasped."She's one of the guardians!Lady Jupiter!"said Selene. Lita then woke up..."Owwww....another weirdo...."she mumbled.Serena clutched at her friend."She's the Princess of Jupiter?"asked Serena to Selene. Selene nodded.Lita was now wide awake and stared at Serena."Who is that?" she asked Serena pointing at Selene. Serena smiled."The Moon Goddess Selene."she answered.Lita gaped at Selene. "Hello,Lady Jupiter."said Selene. "So basically I'm the Princess of Jupiter and one of the guardian's of the Moon Princess?"she asked Serena.Serena nodded. "Oookay..So who are you?"asked Lita.Serena shrugged."I'm a normal human. Chosen by Selene to be the Maiden of the Moon."said Serena. "We must protect and report to Queen Serenity when she arrives."said Serena.Lita nodded,accepting Serena's story. The day Queen Serenity was to arrive,the Earth Kingdom made serious preparations.Serena had taken ill.But the cause she didn't know.Unknown to her,Metallia was slowly bringing darkness upon her to make her ill.She was taken to a different wing in the castle to be seperated from infection to others. Queen Serenity stepped down from a silver carriage and smiled at Queen Maia. Somewhere else in the palace...Serena finally realized why she was ill... *Help* she thought.Darien looked up and then he heard it...suddenly,he was running from the crowd,back to the palace. Queen Serenity scanned her surroundings.It seemed safe enough.But then,an evil loomed overhead...."Welcome Queen Serenity!!!"said Beryl cackling. Lita furrowed her brow....*Lady Beryl?* "Jupiter Planet Power!"shouted Lita holding her tranformation pen.A swirl of lightning and green ribbons surrounded her.When the transformation ended,SailorJupiter stood in front of the Queen in her fuku.Her fuke was a white bodice with green skirt and a pink bow in front and the back.Her feet were covered in lace-up boots reaching her calves.On her bow was a symbol of Jupiter in gold and green. *My medallion!*thought Jupiter. Beryl smirked.*this was interesting.A guardian couldn't defeat her.The stupid Maiden wasn't here.*Beryl's lips turned up into an evil smile. Beryl threw a ball of dark energy at her while Jupiter retaliated with a Jupiter Thunder Crash.The black energy engulfed her attack and hit Jupiter. Jupiter screamed. The rest of the girls were in shock.Raye ran towards Lita."LITA!!!"shouted Jupiter.The Generals were rushing to the attack.Beryl smirked.With a wave of her hand,she sent them flying backwards. Amy stared."ZOYCITE!!"the scream had escaped from her lips.Beryl advanced towards the Moon Queen.Trapping her in a spell while ebsorbing her energy. *YES!!!*thought Beryl. Amy rammed into Beryl with all her might,breaking Queen Serenity from Beryl's grasp.Beryl narrowed her eyes and stared at the Earth Princess who would dare come between her and the her goal to power. "YOU THINK YOU CAN STOP ME??!!YOU PATHETIC WEAK EXCUSE FOR A PRINCESS!!! I'LL KILL YOU!!!!"screamed Beryl.Amy felt her body being crushed by the darkness.Zoycite grimaced in pain as he got up."AMY!!"the shout had burst from his lips. *NO!!!I cannot submit!*cried out a voice in her mind.Raye was starting to feel anger burn as she saw Jedite get knocked back.Now her princess,Amy.... Mina could only stare at the Queen Serenity.Unconscious and on the ground. Suddenly a bright red glow pulsed behind Mina's back. "WITCH!!!"screamed Raye."DON'T YOU DARE HURT MY FRIENDS!!!"she cried out. Jupiter looked at Raye weakly and saw a red orb of light appear at Raye's fingertips and sent the red energy crashing at Beryl.A red sign flashed on Raye's forehead. Jupiter gasped....*Raye was Mars!!She was Lady Mars.*The coming of Beryl had awakened the Princess of Mars.Another guardian to the Moon Princess. Jupiter felt her hands glow as a pen appeared in her hands donning the symbol of Mars.Jupiter threw it at Raye. Raye caught it and smiled at her friend,understanding."Mars Planet Power!" shouted Raye.Rings of fire and red ribbons swirled around her leaving in it's place a Sailor fuku identical to Jupiter's except it had a red skirt and purple bow.On the bow was a symbol of Mars in red and gold. Soon Mars was just as battered as Jupiter.Amy was still fighting the darkness.Beryl had summoned youma's to keep the General's busy.Mina was holding Queen Serenity's head.Beryl cackled.Mina saw her start to drain the Queen's energy again."NO!!!"she cried.A golden glow shot out at Beryl. Beryl staggered back.Mina was standing,glowing a golden glow her blond hair flying and her blue eyes hard. Beryl gasped and whispered one last word before dissapearing.Amy had broke through the darkness.Beryl continued to stare at Mina... "The Moon Princess" and dissapeared. Serena was still gasping for air,she then felt a presence.*Fight!*it said. *You're stronger than they are!!Fight them!*said the voice. Finally,Serena burst through into the light.She opened her eyes weakly... "Prince Darien...???"she said puzzled.Darien was smiling at her."You're back and you're safe."he said. Serena hugged him..."Darien?"she asked."Yes?"he asked."Thank you...."she whispered.A warm feeling glowed within him as he held the girl next to him. The next day,Lita came up to visit Serena with a pale look on her face. "Hi Sere..."said Lita.Serena smiled at her friend."Lita,"she whispered. Lita's face was in a frown. "What's wrong?"asked Serena."Raye's Mars."she stated.Serena's face lit up."That's wonderful..."she started."Mina's the Moon Princess...."said Lita. "What??"said Serena. The next day,Serena paced around in the room."This is terrible.What do we do?The Moon Princess wasn't suppose to be revealed."she said towards the two guardians.Lita nodded.Raye frowned."How's the Moon Queen??"asked Serena suddenly."She's fine.She should recover tomorrow."said Raye. Artemis nodded."But the two guardians were badly beaten.And the other girl Mina,she saved you.Beryl claimed her to be the Moon Princess."said Artemis. Queen Serenity stared at her two advisors,sitting by her bed."M-My... daughter?"she whispered.The two advisors nodded. "Reports also the missing lady-in-waiting,was helped by the Prince in a situation they both rather not discuss."said Luna. This turned Queen Serenity's attention..."I assume the lady is the Maiden as Selene said?"asked Queen Serenity.Luna nodded. "What is her name?"asked Queen Serenity."I believe it is Lady Serena Laurence."said Artemis. The Queen paled..."My daughter's name was Serena...not Mina."she whispered to her advisors."True your majesty,but Serena is from Earth.Or so she claims to be."said Luna. "I want to see them.The Maiden and Mina..."whispered Queen Serenity. Luna and Artemis nodded."Send the Maiden in first..."she said again.Luna nodded again and left the room. Serena,Lita and Raye walked towards the lake.Selene stood on the bank. "Hello Serena..."she said.She stared at Raye...."You must be Lady Mars..." she said again.Her voice like the ripples in the water. Raye nodded."Selene,we have a problem.When Beryl attacked Queen Serenity, the Moon Princess was revealed..."said Serena. Selene frowned..."The Moon princess??"asked Selene.The three girls nodded. Selene sighed..."What's done is done.Now the three of you will have to protect the Royal family with your lives.You have to follow them back to the Moon Kingdom. Serena's heart plummeted at the words.*Leave Earth?My parents?My home?* she thought.But she willingly complied to go. As Serena entered the palace,she bumped into Darien."Oh,sorry."she mumbled blushing.Darien blushed too,smiling weakly.."Um,no...I'm sorry...it was my fault.."he said.Serena stared at him...*HE's saying sorry to ME??* Darien looked down at her.He saw two sapphire-blue orbs staring back at him. Serena blushed again...He was about to bend down to kiss her when suddenly.. "Lady Serena!"said Luna.This broke Darien out of his trance.He mumbled an apology and left."Queen Serenity wants to see you."said Luna. Darien walked down the hall,his thoughts whirling...*WHAT WERE YOU DOING BACK THERE STUPID!!!???YOU NEARLY KISSED HER THAT'S WHAT!!*shouted his mind. "Hello Luna."said Serena calmly.Luna smiled at her.Luna looked at Serena. Luna had black wavy hair tied into balls like the royal family design.She wore a black dress with a gold crescent necklace.She had pretty blue eyes which shone. "Hello Serena.Queen Serenity wishes to speak to you."said Luna.Serena nodded.Luna smiled."Come on..."said Luna walking back.Serena following her. Serena reached the room and saw Mina coming up with a man who had white hair like Kunzite.He wore a white coat and pants.He had friendly blue eyes. When the door opened again,A girl with golden-blond hair and sapphire blue eyes wearing a simple pink dress entered.Serenity paled at the sight of her. She radiated warmth and power which was uncompareble to the other girls she had met the day before.The girl also looked like her when Serenity was younger.But so did Mina. "Your Highness..."said Serena.Serenity smiled at her."You are Serena Laurence?"she asked.Serena nodded. "Your majesty,Selene has instructed the guardians and me to follow you back to the Moon Kingdom."said Serena. "Selene has contacted you?"asked Serenity.Serena nodded."Yes Queen Serenity,more than once."she said."And you are comfortable with going to the Moon Kingdom?"asked Serenity. "Actually,I'm kind of sad and nervous for I will be leaving my home while the others will be going home."said Serena."But I trust in Selene your majesty.And I have no regrets in going."she continued. *The girl has strength and courage.Very admireble.*thought Serenity."And your prince?"asked Serenity.Serena blushed."Prince Darien is not my prince your majesty.If you are refering why he went off when you arrived was due to the cause that Beryl was making me sick with her dark energy.I admit, I was VERY stressed on your arrival ,so I worked myself into fatigue."said Serena.Serenity smiled at her.*So strong,yet so scared.*thought Serenity. Serena went out and another girl with blonde hair rushed in."Mother!"she said.Serenity embraced her."My daughter."she whispered. Serenity broke the embrace and looked down into her daughter's face.Trying to find a familiar world in her eyes.But found none.This girl couldn't be her daughter.She didn't feel close to her like she felt towards Serena. But there had to be a reason why Beryl had thought her to be the Moon Princess.But he thought of her not being her daughter,broke Serenity's heart which had built hope on seeing her daughter again. Queen Maia sat on her throne with Darien and Amy standing beside her along with the Generals. Serena was wearing her Maiden robes,Raye and Lita were wearing robes made of white and gold which symbolized their relation with the Moon Kingdom. Serena led Raye and Lita towards the throne. They curtsied.Queen Maia nodded.Serena looked up and spoke."Your majesty, we have come to resign our position as Princess Amy's ladies-in-waiting for we are to follow Queen Serenity and her daughter Princess Mina back to the Moon Kingdom."said Serena. Darien's eyes widened at the news.*They-SHE was leaving??*"Has your joining been acknowledged by Queen Serenity?"asked Queen Maia."Yes your majesty.We are to leave tomorrow with the Royal Family."said Serena. "Very well then,Serena Laurence,Lita Clyoung,Raye Klynmore,you are now dismissed from Princess Amy's royal ladies-in-waiting."said Queen Maia. "There will be a final celebration for Princess Mina and her guardians." said Queen Maia.Serena,Lita and Raye curtsied again."Thankyou your highness" said Serena.They then walked out of the room. Amy was sad,her friends were leaving.She'd miss them.But she wished them good luck anyway. That night during the ball,Queen Serenity sat by Queen Maia.Princess Mina and the rest of the girls were dancing.Prince Darien sighed as he watched Serena dance. Serena's head shot up and saw Darien standing in front of her.They started to dance.When they stopped,Serena went out onto the balcony. Raye and Lita transformed."Jupiter Planet Power!" "Mars Planet Power!" Amy and Mina backed away. Suddenly,youmas appeared...The four generals rushed to protect the Queens and the princesses."Where's Sere!!!??"shouted Jupiter unleashing a barrage of lightning at the youmas. "DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT BRAT....SHE AND THE PRINCE ARE....OCCUPIED."said Beryl laughing. Mars gasped and her anger started to flare."Mars..fire..IGNITE!!!"shouted Mars throwing a fireball at Beryl.Beryl's blood-red eyes glowed and a shield prevented the fire from burning her. Amy threw a glass cup at Beryl."YOU STUPID PRINCESS!!!YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT WITH YOUR LIFE!!!"shouted Beryl. Jupiter and Mars were surrounded by youmas.The generals were held back by a wall of youmas.Nephrite and Jedite were fighting youmas away from the Queens,while Kunzite and Zoicite were protecting Mina.Amy had somehow slipped away.Now,Beryl would kill her.... Amy screamed."AMY!!!"shouted Jupiter.Beryl let out an evil cackle."DIE!!" she exclaimed.*Oh the pain...*thought Amy. Suddenly,a blue glow enveloped Amy.An orb of energy surrounded her.Beryl's hands started to feel cold.Beryl looked at the princess and grabbed her hand and shook her hard."WHAT DID YOU DO!!???"she screamed at Amy. Amy coughed..."I don't know..."she whispered.Beryl then dropped her for Amy had become ice cold.Then, a burst of energy appeared at Amy's fingertips and flew at Beryl. Beryl let out an unearthly scream.Cold icicles pricked at her.It was cold! A blue sign flashed at Amy's forehead,which Mars and Jupiter instantly recognized.The sign of Mercury. Amy felt a swirl of water and blue ribbons surround her.When she finished transforming,she was dressed in a fuku with blue skirt and a light blue bow on her chest.On her forehead like Mars and Jupiter was a tiara with a sapphire,unlike Jupiter's emerald or Mar's ruby.On her bow was a symbol of Mercury in blue and gold.Mercury frowned at it...*it looked like her... medallion...MY MEDALLION!!* Beryl snarled at Mercury..."Another of you senshi brats..."spat Beryl. Mercury was angered by her words..."Mercury...Bubbles Blast!!"shouted Mercury as the air was covered in a thick fog... In the confusion of the youmas,Jupiter and Mars took the advantage and killed them.They then ran to help the generals. When the fog cleared...standing in front of Mercury was the Maiden!! Mercury turned towards the Queens and Moon Princess...Darien was there!! "Wrong choice trying to crash a ball Beryl..."said Serena..an orb of white light appeared at her fingertips. Beryl surveyed the area...All the youmas were dead,and the stupid guardian generals and senshi's were advancing toward her.The senshi's were powering up their attacks so was the blasted Maiden.... "YOU WON'T WIN YET!!!"shouted Beryl in fury shooting an orb at Mars.It came so fast that Mars was surprised...therefore she didn't dodge.. Mars waited for the pain.But it never came.When she looked down,she saw Jedite in front of her on the ground."JEDITE!!!"screamed Mars as she dropped to her knees. Beryl laughed."He's mine...You may have won,but I'm taking him..."she laughed fading.Jedite started to fade as well....."NOOO!!!"screamed Mars as she tried to hold on to his fading body. Mars sat there crying.Serena walked towards her..."Raye..."she whispered. Mars looked up..."He's-he's gone.."she said through sobs."We'll get him back Raye..."she said hugging her friend."I promise." Serena stood by the lake and sighed...*Jedite is captured...Raye's in a wreck...Amy's Mercury, and we're leaving tomorrow....*she thought hugging herself. Serena released her breath..."You scared me."she muttered.*God he looks so handsome in the moonlight like that.*she thought. Darien laughed..."Sorry..."he said.Serena nodded.Tears were forming again. "Why did Beryl have to take him???Raye's a wreck...she refuses to speak to anyone...blaming herself."said Serena through sobs. Darien hugged her as she cried..like on the balcony...He was comforting. They bid the Royal family of earth farewell.Serena hugged the generals and smiled at Darien. Beryl and her new General watched as the guardians got into the coach behind the first one.Beryl smiled evilly."Without those pesky brats, conquering Earth will be all too easy...."she said to her General.He didn't say anything....He was watching the last guardian who was getting into the coach. Raye looked behind her.Her gaze fell upon a sight far far away in her mind but in reality was staring straight at them.She couldn't see them.Raye closed her eyes and got into the coach.... Serena looked up.Amy reached for her neck and pulled out a blue and gold medallion.It had the symbol of Mercury. Raye shook her head."Mina and I are from orphanages.They took away all our things.But strangely...the medallion on my bow,never vanished like the fuku."said Raye softly. One night, Darien woke up in the middle of the night.He saw a pair of blood-shot eyes staring at him from the dark."Who are you!?"demanded Darien. The moon peeked up into the sky,casting a bit of light and shadows in his room.The figure stepped into the light."Beryl!"he exclaimed. Beryl started to laugh maniaclly.She attacked him.Darien was thrown across his room with a thud."Join us Prince and the pain will end!"said Beryl. "NO!"shouted Darien. Beryl threw more and more blasts at him.Darien was now bleeding profusely. Then,Beryl let out a piercing shriek as she held something,somebody in her grasp. The moon moved into position.Darien saw.....it was Serena....."NOOOOOOO!!" "NOOOOOO!" "Darien!!Wake up!"shouted a voice."WAKE UP!!"shouted the voice. Then,Darien woke up........*It was a dream...a nightmare..NO!Beryl is haunting my dreams...*he thought.Darien then realised he was all wet and his remaining generals and mother were standing over him. "Wha..."he said.Nephrite stepped foreward."Are you alright?"he asked. "You were screaming...."said Kunzite.His mother sat on his bed and brushed her hand against his forehead. The moon shone brightly into his room.His mother gasped...."Darien.."said his mother."You're bleeding...."she whispered touching his head. Serena looked at Amy....*true...Amy still considers Darien as her brother even if they aren't related by blood.* Serena shook her head and stomped away.She went to the Cloud Garden... It had become one of Serena's favourite places on the Moon.She sat on the marble bench which was next to a beautiful young silver and gold tree. She played with the clouds...making funny shapes. She looked down at Earth.Queen Serenity had taken her daughter and the guardians here once in awhile walking on the clouds. During the past month they were here,Queen Serenity and Serena had forged a bond between them.Queen Serenity had some problems connecting with her daughter, Princess Mina. Serena pondered....*If Earth were brought into the Silver Alliance,then she could protect all of them...HIM,yes him....But that left one question, Did she LOVE him??Yes,she did....but she cannot be with him....for the only way to unite the two kingdoms and make sure they were all in one place was through,.......matrimony.He would have to be betrothed,promised to Mina... Was she strong enough to do it??YES...she would rather not love him if it meant he would be alive....he would be safe...happy....* "I thought you might be here..."said Selene.Serena looked up and smiled. Serena and Raye nodded.They were shown rooms.Later that night,Serena and Raye slipped out to the lake.When they passed through the garden,they bumped into Nephrite. "Serena?"asked Nephrite.Serena nodded."Hello Neph,"she said.Nephrite looked at the two women who stood before him.They seemed sad,more mature. "What are you doing here?"asked Nephrite.Raye looked away.Serena just shook her head...."My friend,we are here on a mission from the Moon."said Serena. Suddenly,the three friends heard a voice."Help..."it whispered.Raye's head flew up."Jedite!"she said.Serena and Nephrite gasped. Raye walked towards the voice.Serena grabbed her arm and Raye let out a cry."Serena!Don't!"she exclaimed."No,becareful...it might not be him."said Serena sternly.Raye was feeling the premonitions of danger but ignored it. Nephrite stood on the spot.Raye called out."Jedite where are you?" Serena and Nephrite listened for a reply. "RAYE!!!"screamed Serena.Jedite launched an orb of fire at Serena. Serena screamed.The fire had got her leg.Serena's scream brought Raye crashing back down to reality."Sere?"she said."NOO!!"she cried out. "Mars Planet Power!!"screamed Raye. Jedite picked up Nephrite's unconcious body.Mars launched her attack at Beryl..."MARS FIREBIRD STRIKE!!"she shouted. Beryl just laughed."Far too late little girl!"said Beryl fading.Jedite too had faded back with Nephrite,leaving an unconscious Serena and a crying Mars behind. Mars heard the shouts and footsteps from oncoming palace guards.Mars picked up Serena and ran towards the lake.Selene was waiting."Mars..."said Selene. Tears ran down Mars face..."It's my fault..."she whispered.Selene bent down to look at Serena's injury...washing it away with the water from the lake.Serena's injury disappeared."Raye,it wasn't your fault."said Selene soothingly. "No!!If I hadn't spaced out,Serena wouldn't have gotten injured!!"cried Raye. "Uhhh...Wha.."moaned Serena.Raye dropped down in front of Serena."Sere!I'm so sorry!!"she cried hugging her."Raye??It wasn't your fault.."she said. His mother had sent him to take care of the precautions.Queen Maia nodded at Serena's proposal."I agree,it would be better and safer..but Serena..can you let him go??"asked Queen Maia. "If it means his safety and well being Queen Maia,yes...I'm willing."said Serena."I would settle for seeing him live out his life."she whispered. Queen Maia looked at Serena."Yes Serena...but is it enough?"she asked holding her. "I'm sorry Queen Maia,but you can't make me change my mind...I proposed this idea to Queen Serenity.It just wasn't meant to be..."said Serena quietly. "Patience my new general...I know you are eager for the battle..but don't worry....We will go soon enough..."whispered a woman. Then, a voice in the woman's head spoke... "We have a change of plans Beryl...return here...It's quite surprising..."said the voice. Beryl growled."Yes Metallia..."she said.The three figures dissapeared... The little party reached the Moon.Darien and his two remaining generals stepped out.Queen Maia looked around.Queen Serenity and Mina were there. Mina wore her hair in the royal hairstyle.Behind them were the three guardians.Jupiter,Mars and Mercury. Mercury smiled at Zoycite.Jupiter and Mars had a sad look in their eyes. Kunzite noted that Serena was missing.Mina looked pale and sad.Kunzite felt angry at Serena,for causing Mina so much pain.But at the same time felt pity for her. Queen Serenity smiled at Queen Maia."Maia."said Serenity."Hello Serenity." said Maia. The two Queens discussed the wedding plans.They decided to have it in an ancient Lunarian tradition on a full Earth. "When is the next full Earth?"asked Queen Maia."Two weeks from now."said Queen Serenity.Queen Maia was shocked."And the next full Earth after that?" "30 days."said Queen Serenity.No they didn't have time to wait."Very well then,We shall hold the engagement ceremony two weeks from now."said Queen Maia. Queen Serenity nodded."I am throwing a ball tomorrow evening to celebrate your arrival."said Queen Serenity.Queen Maia nodded."Thank you."replied Maia to Serenity. Much later...the ball was gone smoothly half-way.Suddenly,a gust of wind blew through the ball. A feeling of deja vu rand down Serena's spine.*Just like the ball on Earth a wind had blown through the ballroom dance floor.* Beryl and her new generals appeared.Hovering....Above them was a black cloud or something....which felt of evil... "Jedite!"screamed Mars.The three were laughing insanely.Serena changed into her Maiden form.Stepping in front of Queen Serenity and the other monarchs.Kunzite and Zoycite stood next to Serena with swords.Mina gasped.Darien narrowed his eyes and frowned. "Oh,I want nothing...I just came to deliver some shocking news to you.." she said laughing evilly. Youmas appeared.The guardians fought them.The two generals ran to help them. "What!!??What news do you have that we would want??!!"demanded Selene. Metallia let out an insane shriek of laughter.Serena winced at the sound. "YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW DO YOU????!!!HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"she exclaimed laughing."YOUR POOR SILLY MAIDEN OF THE MOON.....IS PROTECTING THAT CHILD FOR NOTHING!!!"shrieked Metallia laughing. "WHAT!!!????"shouted Selene.Queen Serenity was stock still.Jedite and Nephrite were overwhelming the guardians. Beryl was shrieking like an insane harpy.Mercury was down unconscious. Mars was trying to fight Jedite without harming him.The palace guards were trying to hold back the youmas. The youmas were swarming in overwhelming numbers.Jupiter unleashed a Jupiter Thunder Dragon at the oncoming youmas.Killing many of them,but not all.Kunzite and Zoycite were standing back-to-back against each other fighting off youmas.Nephrite launched a ball of black electricity at Zoycite knocking him unconscious. Nephrite seized Zoycite.Kunzite shouted out.Jedite was laughing.Mars was desprately trying to hold off the youmas with her Mars Firebird Strike. Serena was scared for her friends.But she had to protect the Princess. At that moment when she saw Nephrite seize Zoycite,she couldn't hold it anymore.Running from her place in front of Mina...She unleashed her powers at the youmas. But Metallia had given the orders for Beryl,Jedite and Nephrite to return to their dark headquarters. Nephrite took Zoycite.The youmas started to fade away.Every evil was gone except Metallia.She was laughing insanely. "POOR MAIDEN.YOU HAVE BEEN PROTECTING THE GIRL FOR NOTHING!!!"she shouted. Serena stared at Metallia...."What do you mean??!!Mina's the Moon Princess!" she shouted at Metallia. Metallia saw a spark in Serena.*She IS powerful indeed.Probably more than Beryl,if I can control her.Poor Maiden....the stupid girl she's been protecting isn't even the Moon Princess...just a mistaken identity by Beryl* thought Metallia. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT CHILD??THAT THE GIRL OVER THERE,IS THE MOON PRINCESS???!!!FOOLISH GIRL....WHY,THAT GIRL OVER THERE IS NOT THE MOON PRINCESS!!!SHE ISN'T EVEN OF LUNARIAN BLOOD!!!"shrieked Metallia still laughing.... Selene gasped.Serena narrowed her eyes..."LIAR!!"she shouted and unleashed a barrage of energy at Metallia.Queen Serenity was shocked.Mina was unable to move. "BELIEVE WHAT YOU WANT LIITLE MAIDEN...THE MOON PRINCESS HAS YET TO REVEAL HERSELF......"said Metallia fading away. Serena stood in the center of the ballroom not moving.Jupiter,Mars and Mercury slowly got up. Two days passed.Serena had sent a letter to Earth,asking her parents to send her,the medallion she'd sent back.A package came for her.In it,was the medallion.She stood out on the balcony staring at Earth,holding the medallion close to her. Unknown to Serena,Metallia was watching her.That night when Serena slept, she was holding the medallion.It gleamed and started to glow.As if,it had returned home or it's owner had called it. Metallia watched in fascination.This was the power which had been calling to her...on Earth...the MEDALLION!!!This time it's power and glow were brighter than ever. Serena moved her hand from the medallion,mumbling something in her sleep. Which sounded to Metallia like..the moon,the moon.Serena started saying it louder..."The Moon,the Moon.." In one weeks time,would be the engagement ceremony.They were not sure if they were to preform it. Serena had avoided Darien really well.The past few nights..she hadn't been sleeping well.Dreams and nightmares had been invading.Metallia.... The day before the full Earth,Queen Serenity decided to hold a gala. Celebrating a full Earth.Tomorrow was quite a special day...for not only would it be a full Earth,but also the allignment of the planets.It happened once every 50 years.And a person to be bonded on that day,would strengthen the bond than normal. Serena sat at her place.She started to walk around the ballroom floor. She fidgeted with her medallion.Why was she so jumpy?Nothing was going to happen.But why did her instincts say otherwise? Serena walked out onto the balcony.She held her medallion close to her heart.Suddenly the medallion began to glow.Metallia appeared in the sky. "Hello...Maiden..Now is the time for the ultimate truth."she said evilly. Serena gasped.In her last dream...Metallia had said she would find out the ultimate truth....But why did she haunt her??? The medallion started to glow more intensely.Serena backed away and back into the ballroom.Beryl and her generals were in the center.Mars,Jupiter and Mercury were around Mina.Metallia appeared overhead again. "Now,now Maiden...do you think you can run??"asked Metallia.Queen Serenity and Queen Maia stood at their thrones.Selene was standing beside Queen Serenity.Darien was standing next to Kunzite,his sword out. Darien was puzzled...*Weren't they after Mina???Why was Metallia taking such an interest in the Maiden who was a Terran?* Even Selene was puzzled.Jedite shot a ball of fire at Kunzite,which he avoided easily.But falling into Zoycite's clutches.Icicles started to form at Kunzite's lungs...pricking him...he couldn't breath... Mars shot a ball her own fire at Zoycite.Running towards Kunzite.Mars rubbed her hands together and passed them over Kunzite's chest.He felt the icy cold melt away. But Nephrite fired a charge of dark electricity at Mars and Kunzite. The guardians were being held at bay by Beryl. A scream tore from Mina's throat.Serena turned into the Maiden...this time her crecent moon talismen wasn't there...but her medallion,which she still held and was glowing even brighter. "No...do not interfere Maiden...I am here to test a theory and find the ultimate truth...So,I cannot let you interfere."said Metallia cackling. Serena tried to move,but found she could not.Darkness enveloped her. Smothering her.... Darien gave a shout.But oh...it sounded so far-far away to Serena.... Zoycite picked up Kunzite and faded away.Leaving Beryl,Jedite and Nephrite. Mina screamed again.She was starting to glow in a golden aura.Light burst from the tips of her fingers striking Beryl.Everybody gasped especially Queen Serenity. A golden symbol appeared on Mina's forehead...no it wasn't a crescent moon but the symbol of Venus. Queen Serenity and Selene were shocked.Metallia was correct,Mina wasn't the Moon Princess but the Venus Princess,Lady Venus born of Venusian blood. Queen Serenity's sister's daughter. Mina felt something cold and hard on her hands.It was a pen.On it was the symbol of Venus. Mina knew what she had to do...."Venus Planet Power!"shouted Mina. A swirl of ribbons and light danced around Mina.When they were gone..Mina stood in a fuku with orange skirt.A tiara with a topaz set in the center. Her front bow was a dark blue and the back was a light yellow one.Her hair had returned to it's old style with the red ribbon.On her bow,was her Venus symbol in orange and gold. "HAH!!!I KNEW IT!!!"cried Metallia."THE CHILD ISN'T THE MOON PRINCESS AFTER ALL!"she shrieked. Venus ran towards Mars."Mars!!"she cried out.Beryl was still torturing the other two guardians."Hey!!WITCH!!How dare you!!"she shouted at Beryl. "Venus Crescent Beam Smash!"she cried out.The light hit Beryl.Beryl shrieked her rage. Jupiter and Mercury slowly got up."Jupiter Thunder Crash..."said Jupiter. Mercury ran over to Mars."Mars!!Can you hear me??"asked Mercury. Jedite appeared in front of Mercury.Mercury gasped."Don't bother.."said Jedite.Mars was still unconscious.Jedite stared at Mars.He touched her face, and slowly got up.His eyes were starting to water."Raye.."he whispered. He shook his head and smirked.."Bye-bye.."he said creating a ball of fire in his palm. "Venus Crescent Beam Smash!!" Jedite looked up and saw a streak of light coming at him.He disappeared and reappeared hovering above. Metallia added more dark energy at her captive.The medallion gleamed even brighter."STOP!!!"shouted a voice. Metallia just gave an insane laugh..."Far too late little prince!!She's mine..."she cackled. Serena struggled to retain consciousness..but failed..she felt herself slip into the darkness.... Beryl and the generals disappeared.Metallia was fading away...she took Serena....with her. Queen Serenity gasped.Prince Darien had collapsed on the ballroom floor. The guardians were carefully getting up.Mina was Lady Venus.Her sister's child.Serena and Kunzite had been taken deep into Metallia's home. Darien got up and walked to the spot Serena had last been....something had caught his eye... A medallion.It was glowing.Queen Serenity,Selene and the guardians were coming towards him. Queen Serenity paled at the sight of what Darien was holding.The medallion she'd given her child....the insignia of Selene. "Yes.."he said.Opening her eyes,she found herself in a chamber.The three generals were there.Serena's eyes flew open."Zoy!Neph!"she exclaimed. The guardians looked sadly at one another.But they all nodded and jumped through,followed by Prince Darien. Mercury scanned the area for youmas and energy signatures."The coast is clear."said Mercury. They entered rooms which seemed neverending.Mars suddenly stopped all of them."Wait...I sense..."before she could finish her words...laughter echoed the place. "Well well,look who's here..."said Nephrite."A couple of intruders.."said Jedite.Mars gasped."Where's Serena!!!"demanded Venus. "SPARKLING WIDE PRESSURE!!"shouted Jupiter throwing her attack at Jedite and Serenity.They both screamed. The fog was disappearing.Serenity threw a large black ball of energy at them.Jupiter and Mercury were blown backwards. Mars let out her burning mandala's."BURNING MANDALA!!"she cried out.Jedite saw the attack coming and blocked it with his own flame.Venus took the opportunity to release an attack of her own."VENUS METEOR SHOWER!"she cried out.Jedite let out a cry of pain."Jed!"exclaimed Serenity.Serenity threw a dark orb at them,which exploded. As the smoke cleared...Serenity saw a tall figure standing right in front of her....Darien. Darien stared deep into her eyes which were almost black.Serenity couldn't help but be mesmerized by his midnight blue eyes. "Who..are you...?"she whispered.Darien just stared at her."Comeback to me Serena...I love you."he whispered at her. "Who...??"she began again."Shush my love...remember...."he whispered as he captured her lips in a sweet kiss.Bits and pieces of memory flew about in Serenity's head.The spark which had been burning in her grew..devouring the darkness.Serenity deepened the kiss...her mind echoing his words.."remember, remember....remember...."echoed her mind.At that moment the flame lept and became a fire which burned at the icy cold and lit up the darkness. Serenity remembered...Darien and her arguing.She joining the ladies-in- waiting.Becoming the Maiden of the Moon,Queen Serenity,Selene,Mina,Raye,Amy, Lita,Neph,Zoy,Kunz,Jed...Darien.....the medallion... Darien broke the kiss."Sere.."he whispered.Serena was no longer wearing a black dress...but a wore the Maiden robes...her eyes,sapphire-blue once again."Darien..."she whispered. Mars was holding Jedite.Serena looked at her friend."Mars..."she said smiling.Mars stared at her,her eyes watering. "Heal him..."whispered Serena."Sere...I-I don't know how..."said Mars. "With your love.."she said guiding Mars palms onto Jedite's forehead. Mars felt a warm glow run through her body straight to her palms."Mars Soul Healing....."she whispered.A red glow enveloped Jedite and Mars herself washing over them...healing them. Mars placed a hand over Jedite's closed eyes.When she swept her hands away from him,Jedite slowly opened his eyes."Raye...??"he murmured.Mars wept for joy.It had worked!!He was free of the spell..."Oh god Jed!!"she cried. Jedite was surprised by her rush of emotions.He hugged her back as the memories flooded back.He shuddered...*God..How did he even think of doing anything like what he'd done??*Mars kissed him impulsively and suddenly. But he returned the kiss willingly. "Ahem..."said somebody.Reluctantly,they broke apart.Everybody was looking at them.When they all suddenly burst into laughter. Serena stopped laughing and frowned."What's wrong?"asked Jupiter. "Nothing....You are going to fight Beryl...aren't you?"she whispered.The guardians looked at her solemnly."Our first mission was to find you and bring you home.....Princess."said Mercury quietly. Serena was shocked."Mer-Mercury...what did you just say??"asked Serena. "Sere,YOU are the Moon Princess."said Venus.Serena felt weak.Darien squeezed her shoulders."Come....we must go.We were to rescue you first before proceeding any further."said Darien. Mars nodded.Serena was sad."B-But...what about Neph,Zoy or Kunz??"asked Serena slowly.Jupiter,Venus and Mercury were saddened by this. "We'll get them back Sere...I know we will."said Darien sadly.They teleported back to the Moon Palace where Queen Serenity awaited them. When Serena stepped off the pad,she saw Queen Serenity standing there. Serena breathed in slightly."Mother....."she whispered. Queen Serenity looked at her and held her arms outstretched.Serena ran into their comforting embrace.Holding her tightly."My darling....."whispered Queen Serenity. Days passed..Serena had begun training with the guardians.Though her mother worried,Queen Serenity understood WHY she was doing it.Her friends... deserved a life like hers...with their loves. "Raye...do you think,we-we will ever see the others again?"asked Jedite. "Awwww...Isn't that cute???"asked The Generals."Nephrite!"shouted Lita. "We will be waiting at the lair..."said Nephrite smirking and disappearing into nothingness."NEPHRITE!!!"cried Lita. Amy comforted her friend.Jedite just shook his head."Come on.Lets go."said Raye. Serena felt sad."Mercury Star Power!" "Mars Star Power!" "Jupiter Star Power!" "Venus Star Power!" The senshi stood where the four girls had been. They teleported and were greeted by youmas.Jedite and Darien fought along with the girls.Serena kicked a youma and held something tightly in her grasp.Her mother had given her the Imperial Silver Crystal. "VENUS METEOR SHOWER!"shouted Venus killing several youmas."SHINE AQUA ILLUSION!!"cried Mercury freezing a few more youmas."MARS FIREBIRD STRIKE!" shouted Mars sending the fiery bird crashing into several youmas.SPARKLING WIDE PRESSURE!!!!!"shouted Jupiter killing the last of the youmas. Serena,Jedite nodded at each other."This way."they said."Wait!You'll get lost!"said Mars. Serena scowled."Mars...I was part of them remember???"she said."Me too." Jedite reminded.Mars turned her face away blushing.Jedite and Serena kept walking. Kunzite,Nephrite and Zoycite appeared in front of them.Serena and Jedite froze."Kunzite..."said Serena. The three Generals grinned evilly."Well hello Sere,Jed...the two traitors have returned."chuckled Nephrite. "My sentiments exactly."said Kunzite.Suddenly,Darien,Jedite,Serena and Mars found themselves in a black globe. "Mars!Serena!"cried Mercury.The three grinned evilly.Mars kicked the force field.Darien shouted in frustration. "Surrender brats."said Zoycite."Zoy,please...don't do this..."said Mercury as a tear trickled down her cheek. "You are such fools..."said Kunzite."Please...Kunz..we're your friends." said Venus biting her lip to stop from crying. "Pathetic."said Nephrite."Don't give in to them...I know you're still in there Neph...."said Jupiter. Kunzite laughed."Friends can be used and betrayed!"he said.Venus turned her face and closed her eyes,tears trickling down."Kunzite...I'm sorry."she whispered."VENUS LOVE ME CHAIN ENCIRCLE!!"shouted Venus,her chain of hearts circling out towards Kunzite. Zoycite wrinkled his nose."You were always weak Mercury.."he said.Mercury looked to the ground,her eyes watering..."Zoy...I love you..."said Mercury under her breath."SHINE AQUA ILLUSION!!!"shouted Mercury sending her ice cold water towards Zoycite. Nephrite smirked."Jupiter...you truly are pathetic."he said.Jupiter felt herself anger and her heart being ripped to shreds.His words echoed in her head..."SPARKLING WIDE PRESSURE!!"cried Jupiter throwing the disc of thunder and lightning towards Nephrite. The four in the bubble gasped.The three generals retaliated with their own attacks. The attacks met each other.The explosion was nearly deafening.They still stood.The generals drew swords.The senshi were given weapons. Each senshi attacked their male companion."Why!!!??"shouted Jupiter at Nephrite."I just joined the winning side.."he said grinning. "I loved you!!How could you betray me!??!"cried Venus.Kunzite just grinned and shrugged.Metallia is so much stronger Mina.Join us."he said evilly. "Zoy!Please!DON'T DO THIS!"cried Mercury."Amy...You comprehend little of the powers the dark side has."he said. They fought on while the four watched."We have to help them!"cried Mars. "Mars...this is their fight..."said Serena restraining her friend."THE HELL YOU SAY!!"shouted Mars."BURNING MANDALA!!"she cried."NO wait!"shouted Jedite frantic.But it was too late.The rings bounced off the shield rebouncing around."DON'T DO THAT!!"shouted Serena."The shield repels any attack you launch.It'll send the attack bouncing back!"she said angrily."I'm sorry." said Mars sadly. Half-an-hour later....the senshi's still fought on.The generals soon won over the senshi's for they were exhausted. Kunzite pointed the sword at Venus's throat."Looks like you'll have to die Venus."he said. Venus felt a tear trickle down her cheek."I love you...."she whispered. She waited for the pain to take her.But felt none.She opened her eyes and saw Kunzite hesitating. Jupiter was down on the ground with Nephrite pining her."Well Lita...I guess,this is goodbye."he said.Jupiter felt a cold take her heart."I forgive you my love."she whispered under her breath.Nephrite looked at woman under him.His mind told him to kill her.His heart told him not to.He hesitated. Mercury was on the ground like Jupiter."Amy...I think it's time to go to your new home."said Zoycite. Mercury closed her eyes and felt warm tears trickling down her eyes."I love you Zoy..."said Mercury quietly.Zoycite was about to send the killing blow when he hesitated.The three generals stared at their captive. They were about to kill them when Jedite spoke up."Don't..."said Jedite. The three turned to see Jedite. "If you kill them...you'll regret." said Mars.Kunzite smirked.Zoycite felt himself doubting.Nephrite didn't know. "Look into your heart..."said Serena."And trust your heart."said Darien holding Serena. Kunzite stared at Venus unsure.Nephrite was solemn.Zoycite was on the debating on what to do. Nephrite dropped his sword.It fell onto the floor with a clatter.Slowly other swords followed.The three senshi's looked at the generals.The dark globe faded away. Jupiter ran towards Nephrite.Nephrite was taken aback.*She feels so warm.. so caring.So loving..*he thought. Kunzite was embraced by Venus.She sobbed into his grey uniform which absorbed her tears instantly.Kunzite could only circle his arms around her slim waist. Mercury cried into Zoycite's arms.He looked at her.*She's so fragile...so beautiful.*he thought to himself. Jupiter put her gloved hands on Nephrite's face and whispered..."Jupiter soul healing..."she whispered.Nephrite felt a warm feeling washing over him washing away the darkness as he and Jupiter were enveloped in a green glow. Venus put her hands on Kunzite's chest as she whuspered.."Venus soul healing...".Kunzite felt peace and comfort wash him over..making him whole once more.They were enveloped in a orange-gold glow. Mercury smiled at Zoycite."I trust you..."he whispered.Mercury touched his forehead."Mercury soul healing...."she whispered.A blue glow enveloped him along with Mercury.Washing away the hatred and the last vestige of darkness. When the glow subsided...The generals and senshi stood in each other's embraces. "SO YOU WEAKLINGS HAVE BETRAYED ME TOO!!"screamed Beryl.Serena turned and saw Beryl."Beryl..."she said. "Hello to you too PRINCESS..."she spat out.Serena was thrown back by Beryl's magic."SERENA!"cried Darien. Serena felt pain and darkness attack her once again.The senshi moved to protect her but were thrown back as well. Serena was becoming angry."BERYL!!YOU SHALL NEVER LAY A FINGER ON MY FRIENDS AGAIN!!"she cried as the last proof of her heritage as the Moon Princess flashed to life...her crescent moon symbol.She was dressed in a white gown,her hair in it's royal hairstyle. When the light faded.Serena stood there in her royal garb holding the Crescent Moon Wand with the Silver Crystal. Beryl smirked.."I am not afraid...Metallia has given me the power!!"she screamed at Serena. "Moon...Cosmic...Power!!!"said Serena.The crystal's power clashed with Beryl's dark one. "I-I won't let you win...."said Serena."I already am..."said Beryl evilly. "SERENA!!!"shouted Darien frantic.They could see she was losing."We have to help her."said Jupiter. "You're right!"said Mars.They ran towards her.Darien and his generals ran after the senshi. The senshi reached Serena.They knew they had to lend her their power. "Mercury Star Power!" "Mars Star Power!" "Jupiter Star Power!" "Venus Star Power!". Serena felt a burst of energy surge into her.The generals stood behind their beloveds and senshi lending them their energy.Darien put his arm around Serena's thin wrists.Serena looked at him....staring into his deep blue eyes filled with love for her and only her."I believe in you my love..."he whispered.Serena felt Darien lend her his power... "I love you..."she whispered.Darien nodded.."I love you too beloved..." he whispered back. "Serena!It's time!"said Mars.Serena nodded...."MOON COSMIC POWER!!!"she shouted.Beryl gasped.."What!!!??"
