"Ami,...you are hiding something...please,tell me what it is.."pleaded Zoicite."Zoi,I-I can't..."said Ami starting to cry..."I just can't.."she whispered running away from the gardens.... Zoicite looked on as her running figure disappeared...... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3 years had passed since Serenity and Makoto's leave......Now,they shall meet again....... Minako had married Kunzite a year ago and Zoicite had just asked Ami for her hand.Jadeite and Rei were engaged... Nephlite was as cold as stone...never speaking with other women other than Minako,Ami or Rei without snubbing them coldly. Endymion never remained with any woman more than a week....his heart was hard and forever like ice. Dimando could only smirk at his cousin's actions....On how pathetic he looked.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Serenity and Makoto were now 22 years old...... "Mama says I should marry soon...."said Serenity."So does mine." said Makoto.They both look at each other sadly. "I cannot forget him Mako..."whispered Serenity starting to cry softly. "Yes,...It has been three years hasn't it?"asked Makoto silently. Serenity nodded...."Time has passed so fast...I wonder how Ami and the others are now..."said Serenity sadly. Makoto said nothing as a single tear..the first tear she'd shed in three years fell to the ground,vanishing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Night, Endymion sat up in bed...he dreamed about her...again..oh how she tormented him every night for the last three years...he blamed himself for making her leave...for not loving her enough....he missed her....He'd wanted to search for her many times but never knew where....he assumed she'd never go home for that would be the first place they would've searched.... *Serenity...I miss you...God help me..I might just go insane,but I miss you so much.....*he thought to himself as he held his head.The full moon peeked into his window..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Minako was awake....*It has been three years since they left..I wish they were here....*thought Minako sitting up and looking at the sleeping figure next to her..."Kunzite..."she whispered.. *Guide me somebody...should I tell Kunzite where they are...??*asked Minako silently to herself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Makoto stood on the peak of the cliff....the cool wind air blew her hair back. *No...I promised my self...I would never cry again over him!I-I just.. cannot...*she thought to herself....as she broke down crying a flood of tears which had been held back for three years.... She stared across the ocean........*Nephlite...* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ One afternoon... Dimando and Endymion were fencing.Dimando was winning..... "What's wrong cousin?Too weak?Or perhaps you've been thinking about her again?"asked Dimando smirking. Endymion's eyes narrowed at Dimando's remark...."Shut...up."said Endymion fiercely. Dimando grinned.."Touched a nerve have I?You know....I understand why she left..."he said goading him. Endymion's eyes were burning with anger...He thrusted his sword which Dimando met with a parry."What would YOU know anything about Serenity..."he growled. "Why,she told me herself...."said Dimando with a glint in his eye..."But I must say...her kisses are like honey..."said Dimando laughing. That did it...Dimando's last remark hit home.Endymion lashed out savagely and kicked his footing causing him to fall and drop his sword. Endymion positioned the tip at Dimando's throat...."You...kissed...her??!" exclaimed Endymion angrily. Dimando gave no sign of fear...Only a look of regret...."She is beautiful, She was hurting....I envied you...but you hurt her...so...I plotted to steal her for myself....How'd have thought she'd be SO devoted to you like a poor love-sick puppy..."said Dimando. Endymion punched him on the face..."DON'T YOU DARE CALL HER A LOVE-SICK PUPPY!!"he shouted. Dimando wiped his blood from his lip."You'll never win her back Endymion. She may love you but she will never agree to come back to England!!!"shouted Dimando as Endymion walked away.... Endymion ran from the training ground...What was worse?The fact that he doubted her love or the fact that three years ago he'd pushed her away causing a gap in their relationship pushing her right into Dimando's clutches.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ami gasped at what she'd heard....She had been passing by the training grounds on her way to the Lake.... She never knew what she would hear.Dimando had kissed Serenity before?? Did she willingly kiss him or did she protest?But Serenity wouldn't fuss over a kiss........ Whichever...it explained why Serenity left...she had to be hurting....*God I wish I'd told Zoicite where they were!!*thought Ami running back to the Palace to find Rei and Minako... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ami ran through the Palace halls.....she burst throught the a door room... "Rei!Minako!"she shouted. Rei and Minako looked up from their heated discussion."Ami?What's wrong?" asked Minako. Ami struggled to breathe...."Serenity....Dimando....he..Endymion.."she panted. "Huh?Ami,you're not making sense!"said Rei."Serenity!"cried Ami. "What about Sere?"asked Rei."Before Serenity left,it seems that Dimando kissed Serenity...but that wouldn't make her leave right?So what did???" asked Ami. Minako shrugged."I don't know.Rei...What do you think?"asked Minako. Serenity looked up.."Uh..no thanks Mako.."said Serenity.Makoto got out of the water."Sere?What's wrong?"asked Makoto. Serenity shook her head..."Nothing."she said quietly..... Makoto touched her right shoulder...Serenity suddenly pulled away..."NO!"she cried out... Makoto was shocked.Serenity was acting strange...but then she acted strange three years ago..Serenity now always wore sleeved clothing... "Serenity...did something happen to your shoulder?"asked Makoto. Serenity looked up....She nodded. "Let me see...."said Makoto...Serenity tentively rolled up her sleeve... revealing a horrible ugly scar...It was purple...but it was a scar... "Serenity!!!.."exclaimed Makoto."Don't panic...I got this three years ago Mako..."she whispered. FLASH-BACK.... Dimando had slapped her hard.He'd hurled her at a big tree....oh how it had hurt....Serenity felt something sharp cut at her right shoulder... Serenity cradled her shoulder....She saw a large gash which spilled forth blood which stained her sleeve.... Dimando stopped his assult when he saw the gash...That's when she ran... ran from him...back to her room....Makoto was still drowsy from the surprise wake up call....it also being dark the blood stain was not to be seen.... Serenity had entered the bathroom and cleaned the wound up and wore a new dress..simple but appropriate.... END FLASH BACK.... "God Serenity...why didn't you tell me about the wound!"said Makoto."I'm sorry Mako....I..I didn't want you to know...."whispered Serenity.... Makoto hugged Serenity..."Never mind....I'm just glad it wasn't something worse..."whispered Makoto... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ami,Rei and Minako ate silently...Endymion was not present.The four Generals ate silently and Dimando didn't want to eat because of the big bruise he'd recieved from Endymion.... Rei narrowed her eyes...*Serenity wouldn't leave because of a kiss..It has to be something worse..."thought Rei to herself. Kunzite and Minako excused themselves and left.... Ami just played with her food silently.Rei was angry...angry at Dimando, angry because her friend left on a reason she didn't know..... Rei got up abruptly..."Excuse me...I have to go somewhere..."she muttered storming out to find Dimando... Ami watched as Rei stormed out,leaving her,Zoicite,Jadeitie and Nephlite at the table.Ami looked down feling uncomfortable... Nephlite got up and excused himself.....Jadeite followed....wandering off somewhere... Zoicite eyed Ami...Ami didn't look up as she felt Zoicite's eyes on her. Zoicite never forgot about the secret she kept three years ago until now... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rei threw Dimando's door open and closed it..locking it and slipping the key into her dress pockets... Dimando looked up surprised."What are YOU doing here!!?"demanded Dimando. "Shut up.."she said angrily. "What did you do to Serenity three years ago?!"said Rei."What!!??"Dimando exclaimed. "Don't play dumb..I know Serenity!A little kiss wouldn't make her run.... So WHAT did you DO??!!"said Rei sternly... "I don't know WHAT you're talking about."he replied steely..."Really..." said Rei."Perhaps I should go find her and ask her myself...."said Rei. Dimando laughed..."Find her???Hah!!She's not in England anymore savage.." said Dimando mockingly. Rei narrowed her eyes..."True...but I KNOW where to find her...brute..." said Rei throwing back an insult... Dimando was cool and composed on the outside but he was seething inside... *BRUTE???THAT WOMAN CALLED ME A BRUTE???But she knows where to find Serenity and that is bad...I cannot let her find Serenity...*thought Dimando to himself...as Rei left the room. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rei entered her room where Ami and Minako were lounging.Rei slammed the door hard...Ami and Minako jumped.... "The brute!I'll get to the bottom of this yet!"said Rei fuming."Rei,what's wrong...??"asked Minako.Ami nodded..."What is bothering you??" "DIMANDO!!!I went to demand what had happened!He DENIED kissing Serenity and called me a savage!"exclaimed Rei. "I have to find Serenity at once...there's something not quite fitting! WHY DID she leave????"said Rei angrily. "But you can't go to Serenity....The Generals will be suspicious!"said Minako.... "Minako is correct Rei...there's no way we can even find a ship that is going that destination...."said Ami. "Then I'll just have to FIND one that is...."said Rei. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Zoicite and Jadeite had been passing outside their door and heard Rei shouting about Dimando.... But then, the name Serenity caught their attention...Did the three really know where Serenity was??It was strange.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Two days later....( Ball...) Endymion had danced with various girls and was now dancing with Lady Melissa. She had been cooing on and on about him...Endymion was beginning to feel bored... Rei had found a ship that was leaving that night for the place which Serenity resided...Dimando had someone to follow Rei... Rei left the Palace and went towards the docks....There,she met the Captain of the ship that would take her to the new world.... The Captain nodded and led her onto the ship...Dimando's spy raised his eyebrow... The ship set sail......Jadeite who had been tailing Rei watched as the ship left England...he had no idea where the ship was going and neither did most sailors on the docks. Jadeite walked back to the palace quickly.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ami and Minako stood outside on a balcony in the study praying when the door to the study burst open and Zoicite,Kunzite and Jadeite walked in shutting the door firmly behind them..... "Kunzite?"said Minako."Zoicite?"said Ami.They marched toward the two women and pulled them into the room. "What are you doing!!!??"cried Minako.Kunzite held her wrists firmly in his grip... Ami was in the same predicament... "Where has Rei gone???"said Jadeite."We don't know!!Why are you asking!? She can go where she WANTS!!"shouted Minako angrily. "Yes,she can...but going to see Serenity and Makoto is different..We want to know where they are!"said Kunzite sternly to his wife... Ami gasped and stared at Zoicite.Minako stopped struggling..."I don't know what you're talking about...."said Minako. "Do not lie...Jadeite and Zoicite heard you three discussing.."said Kunzite eyeing his wife. "I DON'T KNOW!!"shouted Minako to her husband...Zoicite and Jadeite looked at Ami..."Tell the truth Ami..."said Zoicite softly. "I-I don't understand what you're talking about..."said Ami shakily. "Don't lie Ami....You were never good at it..."said Zoicite. Ami blushed."I-I'm sorry...I can't tell you..."said Ami."Where Ami,Where?" said Zoicite. "Please!Do not ask!We made a promise!"said Ami in tears...Kunzite looked down at Minako..."What promise...?"he asked. "A promise never to reveal where they are...."said Minako sadly.... "Then why did Rei go?It would certainly give their location away wouldn't it?"asked Jadeite. Ami nodded..."Yes...but when you and Zoi were passing my room,Rei had just had a very bad time with Lord Dimando..."said Ami. "So that's why she sounded mad..."said Jadeite."Ami had told us earlier that before Serenity left,she'd kissed Dimando...."said Minako. "So what's the mystery?"asked Jadeite..."No,We know Serenity...she would never run away because of a kiss...Something else must have happened..." said Ami. Minako looked down to her shoes...Kunzite released his grip on Minako's wrists. "So Rei is going to see Serenity to find out what?"asked Zoicite. Ami nodded."But where IS Serenity and Makoto?"asked Kunzite. "Kunzite,We just can't tell you that...Serenity and Makoto asked us in their letter to fulfill their last favor of us..."said Minako. "For Heaven's love Minako,We have two friends that over these past three years are hurting and now cold as stone in feelings!"cried Kunzite. "Do you really want to watch the four of them suffer???!!"asked Kunzite to his wife.Minako stared at her angry husband..."No Kunzite,I don't..."she whispered.... "Then tell us WHERE they ARE!"he exclaimed.Minako looked down on the floor and it's carpet... "They're back at the New World...home..."said Ami quietly. "And the last place we would think they'd want to go..."said Jadeite. "You can't tell Endymion and Nephlite..."said Minako urgently."What??!" said Kunzite. "I agree.."said Ami..."Why?"asked Jadeite."Because if you tell them, they will head straight for the new world...and Makoto and Serenity might not want to see them...We should wait for Rei.."said Zoicite. Ami stared up at Zoicite...He smiled back down lovingly.Ami smiled and leaned her head on his chest. "You DO have a point.."said Jadeite.Kunzite nodded."Minako,I'm sorry for yelling at you..."said Kunzite turning to his wife. Rei reached the New World at last...She quickly wasted no time and headed for the tribe.... Dimando's spy smiled...he only had to wait for her to come back.... Rei reached the tribe in a half-hour... "Papa!"exclaimed Rei. Hakunat the medicine-man of the tribe looked up. "Rei??"he said. "Papa!!"cried Rei running to her father.The old man embraced his daughter "Rei,what are you doing here?"he asked. "Oh,I came to find Serenity..."said Rei.Hakunat looked at his daughter and smiled.."Serenity...?I believe you will find her at the waterfall with Makoto..."said Hakunat. "Oh thank you papa!!"she exclaimed.She quickly went to find them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Serenity and Makoto filled the water jugs and sat down awhile staring at the salmon that swam. "Mako,I miss him even more every day..."said Serenity.Makoto looked up.. "I know how you feel...but you said you never want to return to England because of Dimando."said Makoto. Serenity looked away.She stared at her reflection...she looked tired and old.Probably from thinking about him so much."Yes...but I still miss him." said Serenity. "What?You don't miss me more than him?"asked a voice.Serenity and Makoto turned to look at who had spoken and when they did,their mouths droped open. Serenity got up slowly."Rei...."she said. "Hello Serenity.."said Rei.Serenity ran towards her friend where they hugged each other... "Rei!I missed you!"said Serenity crying.Rei smiled."I miss you too bunny." said Rei laughing. Makoto smiled at Rei.Serenity broke away from the hug.... "Oh,Rei,How we've missed you!"she exclaimed."I can tell Serenity."said Rei smiling warmly. "What brings you here?"asked Serenity. "I came to see you..."said Rei. "You are alone?"asked Makoto.Rei nodded. Serenity stared at her friend."Come on,lets go to the hidden grotto if you want to talk..."said Serenity. Serenity sat there staring at Rei.Rei had just finished explaining her reason for coming back to the New World.... Serenity felt her eyes start to water....Rei looked at her expectantly... "I-I.."began Serenity."I don't know what to tell you Rei..."whispered Serenity turning her head down.... Rei looked at her friend who was crumbling."The truth Serenity..."said Rei.Serenity looked up."I-I CAN'T tell you..."whispered Serenity... "Why Serenity? Why??"asked Rei sternly."I just can't..."said Serenity getting up and running away..... Makoto looked down sadly and shook her head."She's afraid Rei..."said Makoto."Afraid Mako?Afraid of what??"asked Rei turning to her friend. Makoto sighed..."She's afraid of him...Dimando..."said Makoto.Rei didn't understand...."What do you mean....??"asked Rei. "Serenity told me what happened before she left England...the night of the ball..."said Makoto wearily."Tell me Mako...I do not want to see my friends this way...Endymion misses her a lot...."said Rei. Makoto closed her eyes sadly."Serenity's afraid of Dimando because he'd beaten her that night...."said Makoto.Rei's eyes grew wide."What??!!"said Rei. Makoto retold Serenity's tale..."That night,Serenity had been feeling lonely because Endymion had been pushing her away...Serenity had gone out to the balcony where Dimando had followed....leading her to the rose gardens below the balcony...What you said was correct...Dimando DID kiss her... Serenity being vulnerable and confused returned his kiss...of course when she realized she tried to get away stepping on his foot in the process.... That's when...when...Dimando beat her...he-he even threw her against a tree on the grounds of the palace...."Makoto paused for a breath..."The tree injured her right shoulder...a very deep gash..I've seen her shoulder Rei.. their's still a bruise and a very ugly scar...Serenity scared of Dimando... afraid he'd do it again....she also felt she'd betrayed Endymion kissing his cousin...."said Makoto. Rei gaped...."B-but it wasn't HER fault!!"said Rei."Serenity blames herself Rei...that's her character."muttered Makoto. She then heard rustling....Serenity turned towards the rustling."Mako?"she asked. Rei appeared out of the corn rows."I thought I'd fing you here Serenity." "What do you want Rei??"said Serenity harshly. Rei hugged her startling Serenity."I'm so sorry Serenity..."said Rei. "Rei...??"asked a befuddled "Mako told me....I-I'm sorry Serenity."whipered Rei.Serenity began to cry..."N-Not your fault...only mine,"cried Serenity. "It is not...It is that brute's fault...that lying pig Dimando."said Rei angrily. "Oh Rei!What am I to do!!!???"cried Serenity."Come back with me Serenity, We'll make sure the pig doesn't get away with it!!Endymion misses you alot." stated Rei. Serenity looked up with tearful eyes..."I can never face him..."whispered Serenity."Serenity!You've GOT to come back!!!Look at the both of you now! Endymion nodded."Thank you..."he whispered. "Endy..."said Kunzite.Endymion looked up and was about to say something when there was a knock on the door.... "Enter.."said Endymion.A girl with dark brown hair entered and curtsied. "Hello,Lady Maybeline."said Endymion coldly.Lady Maybeline smiled coyly. "Hello Lord Endymion,General Kunzite,"she said sweetly. Kunzite winced.*What a strong perfume...*he thought. "Good afternoon Lady Maybeline.."said Kunzite politely. "Yes,what can I help you with Lady Maybeline?"asked Endymion coldly. "Oh,Prince Endymion,I would like to invite you to my ball I am holding two days from now..I certainly hope you'll be there??"said Maybeline. "If I can,"said Endymion not looking up."I shall consider...Good day.." said Endymion. Lady Maybeline frowned and curtsied and left. "Actually,Molly married Lord Melvin and Nephlite had become a cold distant man like Endymion except to his friends and Minako,Ami and me..."said Rei. "Alright then...we shall not force you..."whispered Serenity sadly.Makoto nodded..."When are you leaving?"asked Makoto. "The first ship out tonight...the next one will leave an hour after."said Rei. Serenity wore a travel cloak which hid her face.She stood on deck with Rei.... Rei came up to her..."Serenity,you are not having second thoughts about returning to England are you?"she asked her friend. Serenity shook her head...The ship was sailing...She watched as the ship moved away from the shore, when suddenly...She felt somebody's hand clasp around her mouth.Her eyes went wide as fear overtook her.... Makoto had just reached the port as the ship moved away...She had been too late to say goodbye.. She watched as Serenity's figure which was silhouetted in the moonlight.. Makoto watched sadly as the ship moved further away...when she saw Serenity struggle..somebody was catching her...But what could she do???? *Serenity....God,no...I have to catch a boat to England..but the next one is an hour away....Serenity...Rei..* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ England....days later... Serenity awoke in a damp dark cell...she found Rei next to her still unconcious. She tried to sit up but only got a massive headache.... "Ow...where am I..."she thought aloud. "Why,you're back in England dear Serenity..."said a voice.A chill ran down Serenity's spine as she heard the voice. Her eyes went wide with fear."You..."she whispered. Makoto reached England...she'd boarded the next ship back to England. She pulled the cloak around her tighter... *Oh Rei,Serenity...please be alright...*she thought to herself.She quickly set off for the palace's direction..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Minako and Ami were very worried...Rei had not come back yet.Why was Rei taking so long... The next ball was the Prince's birthday....and it was only three days away...... The Prince would bound to ask Jadeite where his fiancée was and Jadeite could not lie to him very well..... Three years had passed...surely Serenity would be willing to come back if not forever but at least for a short period of time? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Makoto ran towards the gates of the palace....The guards denied her passage and told her to leave.... Makoto was already hysterical about her two best friends..."LET ME THROUGH THE GATE!!!!I HAVE TO SEE LADY MINAKO AND LADY AMI!!!!"she screamed at them crying.Three years of tears and pent-up sadness exploded..... The guards stood firmly but were afraid of the woman in fear she would hurt herself. "Please......it's....important..."she choked out between tears.... The guards shook their heads..."I'm sorry miss....but we CANNOT allow you into the palace.."they said sternly. Makoto was about to scream at them again when a voice startled her..... "Mako?"asked a voice. Makoto froze at the sound of the voice.Slowly she turned to face the owner of the voice... "Mako?Is it really you????"he choked out. Makoto closed her eyes and bit her lip.She tried to stop the tears... *I can't let him see me cry this way...*she thought but her efforts to stop the tears were in vain. "Makoto....what's wrong?"he asked as he stepped closer towards her. She fell into his arms and cried even more.... Nephlite turned towards the guards which seemed shocked at Nephlite's warmth and kindness to this young woman...(remember,since Makoto left,Neph's as cold as stone...) "What seems to be te problem?"he asked the guards. "General Nephlite...we apologize....the woman wanted to enter the palace to see Lady Minako and Lady Ami...."said the guard. Nephlite frowned."She is a friend.."he stated. At the sound of his voice the guards understood the hidden threat and quickly opened the gates wide.... Nephlite held Makoto as he led her into the palace grounds..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Minako and Ami were shocked when they saw Makoto..."MAKO!!"they both exclaimed. Minako ran to Makoto's side..."Did something happen to Rei???to Serenity?" asked Minako franticly. Nephlite was shocked when Minako and Ami bombarded her with questions... Rei went to see them???They'd known where they were all along? At that moment, Kunzite,Jadeite and Zoicite entered the room.Jadeite was the first to speak.."Has something happened to Rei???"he asked. "How come you're alone?" "Has something happened??" Nephlite gaped....they ALL knew where the WERE???? Was Endy and him the only ones that did not know??????/ "How come you all know about Rei and Serenity and Makoto???"asked Nephlite staring at the three generals... Kunzite shook his head.."Nephlite...do not get angry...we only found out after Rei left the palace..."said Kunzite calmly. Nephlite was shocked.....Endy and him had been kept in the dark about the two girls's location.....he felt angry... "Please....don't fight..."whispered Makoto pleadingly.Nephlite looked down at her emerald eyes which looked so pitiful... "Mako..."he whispered. "Rei...Serenity..."whispered Makoto... "What abut them????"asked Minako frantic.Ami placed a hand on Minako's shoulder to calm her. "They have been kidnapped..."whispered Makoto. A crease appeared on Minako's brow..."It has to be Dimando..."she said quietly... "But why would he do that???"asked Nephlite.Everybody stared at him curiously. Then it hit Zoicite."Oh!Nephlite doesn't know about the incident that Dimando accidently told Endymion!"he said. "Yes...Rei wanted to know the whole truth of WHY Serenity left..."said Ami quietly. Makoto looked away..."Serenity...you've suffered so much..."she whispered. "Do you know the reason Makoto?"asked Kunzite suddenly. Makoto looked up with tears in her eyes..."Yes..."she whispered. Minako turned to look at Makoto..."WHY Mako,WHY???"asked Minako sternly. "Ahem..."said Kunzite. Endymion looked up."Come in Kunzite..."said Endymion.The woman stopped massaging.She went to sit on a sofa in the room. "Prince Endymion...I came to ask and tell you something."said Kunzite. "Go on.."said Endymion staring at his friend. "Lady Makoto has returned and has a tale to share...Would you care to join us??"he asked. Kunzite saw Endymion's eyes open wide."Lady Makoto?"he asked questioningly at his long-time friend and guard... The woman frowned at this news..Kunzite smirked to himself..*Probably wondering who Lady Makoto is...* Endymion got up and told the woman to leave.The woman hurriedly ran out of the room.... "Lady Makoto.....is-is..."he asked.Kunzite shook his head.A sad expression flickered across the Prince's face....he then nodded. Quickly,the rest of the guard filled Endymion on what had happened... Endymion was shocked...his guard knew and did not tell him where his love had been..... "Please,do not get angry Endy....and listen to why Serenity left...."said Makoto sadly... Makoto recounted the tale she'd told Rei only a week ago..... 1 hour later..... Ami was shocked that Dimando would beat her friend....Endymion was seething....not only did his cousin try to steal his beloved but he'd beaten her too.... "But I still don't understand...why did dimando want to kidnap Rei and Serenity??"asked Jadeite. "So that they would never be able to tell anyone...."said Zoicite. Ami nodded."Since Endy would be King...if Dimando ever gave Endymion any reason to banish him from England,if Endymion died at early age,Dimando would not be King... ."said Ami. "You think Dimando wants to murder Endymion???"asked Minako."I do not know...there are many possibilities...after all,it is against the law to injure women...."said Ami. "Where is Dimando anyway?"asked Jadeite. "He is out..."said Nephlite. "Where?"asked Kunzite. "I took him to one of the old overgrown fortresses during the war..."said Nephlite. "My birthday is tomorrow night...that will be when I am legally King..." said Endymion. "My mother is old and wishes to step down..."said Endymion. "We shall explore the old fortress Endy...don't worry."said Kunzite comforting his friend. Endymion clenched his fists..."What if Serenity is there...??"he whispered sadly.... "Endy..do not worry.."said Nephlite."Thank you all of you..."said Endymion to his friends.. "But then we must hurry!"said Minako. "What do you mean Mina?"asked Kunzite."The Queen told me that this was no ordinary ball for Prince Endymion's birthday.... "It is also a masquerade...all the single men and women shall be wearing masks with their costumes whilst the married men and women won't... It is to determine the next Queen....if Prince Endymion does not pick a girl by midnight,the Queen mother will do it for him..."said Minako sadly. "What???"said Endymion."Mother never told me that!!"said Endy. "It's all over Rei,Dimando has us.....We'll die..."said Serenity. "Sere...don't think like that!!He can't kill us!"said Rei trying to soothe her friend. "How do you know for sure...??He injured me badly three years ago in a fiit of anger...how can we be sure he cannot kill us when he is-is enraged?" asked Serenity sadly. Rei watched as her friend sadly wept."Serenity....I'm so sorry I brought you back....to all your pain and suffering....""said Rei. "Look!"said Jadeite.Nephlite and Kunzite turned towards the direction Jadeite was pointing. "What is it?"asked Zoicite. "Guards around that old brick house..."said Jadeite. They saw two guards standing by the door to an old brick house. "Why would there be two guards out in the nowhere...even more curious... what's behing those doors?"asked Nephlite. "Right.."said Kunzite."Shh...It's Dimando."said Zoicite.The four generals looked up. The saw him stand outside the brick house for a few minutes.Then he broke into a cackle. "So....everybody got the plan?"asked Kunzite.They nodded."Alright...we better hurry if we want to get back to the palace by tomorrow afternoon..." said Kunzite getting up... The four generals went seperate directions...Jadeite and Nephlite crept up on the two guards.Jadeite on the left face of the house and Nephlite on the right. Soon,the two guards were unconcious on the ground and the four broke down the door.... Serenity and Rei looked up when the door break open and saw four figures standing at the doorway. "Rei..."said one figure."Jade!"exclaimed Rei.Serenity and Rei hugged the four generals,crying at the same time... "Jade...how?"began Rei. "Shh...Makoto told us...she saw you two from the pier get caught when you were on the boat."said Jadeite. "Makoto is here???"asked Serenity. "Yes she is..."said Nephlite. Serenity turned towards Nephlite and smiled warmly.Her eyes showing only happiness for him."I'm happy for you Nephlite,my friend..."smiled Serenity. "You're right Ami...right now,Makoto needs our support on making a decision to decide either to return to the village or stay here in England." said Minako. "She does not know yet?"asked Ami. They were headed back towards the palace... "And just in time too..."said Kunzite.Zoicite nodded."We shall have to slip through the back way as not to alert Dimando..."he said. "Right..."said Nephlite. They trotted towards the side gates of the palace....hidden in the forest. Later, When Serenity was in the palace grounds....she saw a young man waiting. Serenity wondered who it was...but as she got closer she realized....her eyes widenning... The horse came to a complete stop....Serenity still staring at the young man. Getting off the horse...She stood in front of him still staring and still in shock... The young man walked towards her in quick steps embracing her in a hug which she returned instinctively. "Endymion...."she whispered,tears welling in her eyes... "Serenity...."he echoed."I've missed you.."he whispered.They pulled away. "It's been so long Serenity.."he said quietly. "Yes,....it has."said Serenity. "We'll just go find Minako and the others and tell them the news..."said Kunzite. As the five people walked away leaving the young pair alone... Endymion hugged Serenity again.His eyes starting to water.... "Sere...I've missed you so...."he choked out. "I-I've missed you too Endy...."she whispered tears flowing. "I'm glad you came back Serenity..."said Endymion. "You-You are???"asked Serenity. "Yes,....I know Serenity..."said Endymion.Causing Serenity to look up. "Endy?"she asked confused and frightened. "Don't worry...I'll take care of Dimando...he'll never harm you again... and I'm never letting you go or doubting you again Serenity....I love you." he whispered. Serenity was shocked..."Endy??How....Oh never mind...Well...you owe me Prince Endymion...BIG..."said Serenity smiling and laughing at the same time. "Oh?"mocked Endymion. When he would have said other things,Serenity silenced him kissing him slightly. "Shhhh...I forgive you....and I love you too.."said Serenity. Everybody gasped.Dimando nearly choked on his drink when he heard his cousin's words. "Endymion...what do you think you are saying??"said Endyion's mother. "Please,hear me out..."said Endymion as he began retelling the tale of Dimando assulting Serenity. Many women young and old were disgusted by Dimando when they heard the story. Dimando flew into a rage..."Prince Endymion!You have no proof of what you say!"he exclaimed. "Oh,but I do cousin...I do have proof.."said Endymion angrily. The main ball doors opened..... "Presenting Lady Serenity,Lady Makoto,Lady Rei as witnesses.Ami,Minako and the generals followed behind. Dimando's face nearly turned pale at the sight of the three women. At that moment,palace guards caught hold of Dimando and dragged him away for trial later on.... "And now...I anounce to all of you,I want to keep my promise I made three years ago...Serenity...I ask you again....Be my wife and queen..."said Endymion. Serenity was shocked...he was asking her again... Endymion got off the stage and walked towards her...holding her hand...he led her towards the stage.
