Onwards!!!! Serenity stood on the ship deck.In another three days she would reach England...Her new home. "My love...What are you doing out here?"asked a voice,as a pair of strong arms encircled her thin waist. Serenity felt safe in her beloved's arms."Nothing...I was thinking Endy." she said quietly. "About?"he asked."We shall be reaching England soon...I fear..."she began but was cut off by Endymion. "Do not fear Serenity...your friends are here with you....I...am here with you."he said softly.Serenity blushed. Endymion planted a soft butterfly kiss on her forehead and led her back to the cabin's below. Serenity entered the cabin.She saw her friends,Minako,Rei,Ami and Makoto sitting on a bunk and on the floor.They were talking. "I'm just so scared..."said Minako."I know...Nephlite has described England...I'm just afraid I might not...fit in."said Makoto. Ami looked up."Hello Serenity..."she said.Rei looked up."Hello."said Serenity."What do you feel Serenity?"asked Rei. "I-I...I'm afraid...but Endymion will be there with me..I pray the spirits lend me their strength."said Serenity. The rest of the girls nodded. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jamestown....(Three days later.) The ship docked at the harbor...All the people rushed to see their family return from the New World... Many ladies arrived to see the Prince.Royal Guards had come to escort the Prince and his Guard home to the palace. Serenity and her friends watched the people outside from the cabin window. "There-there are so many people..."said Minako.Ami who was a shy girl cowered away from the window. They felt the ship come to a halt.A knock sounded on the door."Girls?" came a voice. "Jadeite??"asked Rei.The door opened the five men stood there at the doorway."Come...It is time.."said Endymion gently. Each man took their beloved's hands and guided them out onto the deck. They held on to them protectively. "Endy?"asked Serenity.Endymion looked down lovingly upon her face.."Yes my love?"he asked."I'm scared.."she whispered. He smiled and held her close."I'm here Serenity..."he whispered.She rested her head on his chest. They walked down the plank.Some women were envious a savage english-girl had managed to capture their Prince's heart. Serenity's eyes darted left and right looking at the people.Endymion felt her shiver.He pulled her closer to him as they walked towards the carriage which awaited them. Kunzite held Minako's hand and led her down following Endymion and Serenity towards the carriage.Minako smiled at him.He caught her smile and mouthed the words..."Aiko." Minako blushed.Some women were surprised that the stone hearted men like Kunzite,Endymion and Jadeite had actually fallen in love. Jadeite and Rei followed next.Jadeite whispering in Rei's ear making her smile.Jadeite kissed her temple and squeezed her hand slightly.Rei leaned her head on his shoulder. Some old ladies smiled at the couples.They all looked like perfect matches for the men. Zoicite held Ami closely.Her cheeks flaming.Zoicite squeezed her hand and smiled at her encouragingly.She smiled back still blushing. Nephlite came down with Makoto last.He held her protectivly by the waist his other hand holding her hand.She leaned her head on his shoulder. The palace was very beautiful,very big....Serenity got scared of the guards.Endymion chuckled and kissed her forehead.Serenity smacked his shoulder.Endymion just hugged her tightly. The Generals took Serenity and their loves to respective rooms.The girls entered the room and sat down on the soft bed which surprised them. "This place is beautiful..."said Makoto.Rei nodded.There was a knock on the door.A girl with auburn hair entered."Hello...my name is Molly.Prince Endymion sent me to get you girls dressed up.There will be a ball."she said. The girls nodded.They'd learnt how to dance on the ship.The generals had said they'd need to. Molly smiled."First of all...I'll get the bath water running..."she said disappearing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Molly went to one of the huge rooms ordering the maids to fill the water tub.Molly hummed to herself.*The girls seem like nice young ladies..*she thought.*Oh...Nephlite had returned from the New World and she still hadn't seen him yet.Her father was still pressuring her to make the choice.Marry Lord Melvin?*she just didn't know. *Perhaps seeing Nephlite again will help..*she thought to herself.She remembered every detail.His long wavy dark brown hair and piercing brown eyes.He was handsome yes...but he was away all the time.She wondered if she still loved him.Sure she liked Lord Melvin...he was the sweetest. She hummed absentmindedly to herself and walked back towards the main room to tell them their bath was ready..... After they finished bathing...Molly introduced them to several different garments which amazed them.She then introduced them to make-up..but they really didn't need to wear a lot since they were actually very beautiful already. Molly sent a few maids to gather ivy and some other flowers.When the maids came back...she set the basket down and began to work on their hair. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Serenity stared at her reflection.She saw somebody so different.She saw a beautiful girl with clear sapphire-blue eyes and golden sun blond hair. She wore a beautiful white dress.Two diamond earrings in the shape of tear drops were on her earlobes while a silver with similar diamond pendent graced her swan like neck.Molly had done her hair up which was decorated with pearl and red roses. She looked different.She turned to see her friends. Makoto was wearing a forrest-green dress with ribbons.Two clear pink crystal in the shape of roses were on her earlobes and she wore a diamond choker which graced her neck.Her hair was fastened in a bun with tendrils framing her face decorated with lilies and ivy. Minako wore a sun coloured dress with orange.Two gold hearts decorated her earlobes while a string of pearls hung around her neck.Her hair was put up with irisses and ribbons. Rei wore a fire red dress with white ribbons.Rubies decorated her ears with a gold chain which hung a ruby pendent.Her hair was held up by ruby barrets and red feathers. Ami wore an ice-blue dress which had sapphires and diamonds embroided. She wore pearl earrings.On her neck was a silver necklace with a snowflake encrusted with diamonds. Serenity smiled at her friends.Molly smiled.She was wearing a yellow cream dress with green ribbons in her hair.Black opera gloves. "Well...you all look lovely..."said Molly."Come...the ball starts in a half-hour."she said leading them out. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ King Darius looked at his son."Endymion...whenever will you marry??"he asked his son who was keeping his eyes focused on the dance floor and the doors. "Father..."he began."Endymion..your father and I just want to see you happily settle down with the right girl..you've refused so many of the princesses and noble ladies already."said his mother Queen Ester. "Father...Mother...Do not pressure me please."said Endymion.His parents jus shook their heads in exasperation. His generals stood by him.Jadeite snickered."Oh look...there's Lady Beryl, you know she REALLY likes you,you know."said Jadeite teasingly. "Jadeite..."said Endymion warningly."Look there they are!"said Zoicite. Endymion turned to see.His mouth almost dropped open.She was a vision of loveliness. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Serenity and her friends entered the ball room.Molly had said she'd go later for she still had things to see to. "Where are they?"asked Minako whimpering."I don't like all the crowds." whispered Ami."Yes,they make me nervous."said Rei. Makoto was trying to be brave and not break down crying.Serenity scanned the room for her love...and she saw him. Serenity pulled her friends to their direction.They immediatly brightened up and walked faster. Endymion and his generals met the girls half-way."Beloved...I missed you." said Endymion kissing her face. "E-E-Endy,I was so scared...all these people.."said Serenity."Shush... nobody's going to hurt you..."he whispered brushing a few stray tendrils from her face."Do you know you look beautiful my love...??"he asked teasingly.Serenity blushed.She clutched his hands firmly.He smiled at her. Kunzite smiled planting small butterfly kisses on her face.Minako looked up into his eyes.Kunzite wiped a few stray tears from her face."My little Aiko...you look positively ravishing."he whispered."Kunzite.."she whispered. Zoicite hugged Ami."Zoi...th-there are so many people here...I was so.." she said.Zoicite silenced her with a finger."I'm here Ami...don't cry.."he whispered in her ear.Ami hugged him tightly. Rei crushed Jadeite in her hug.Jadeite could feel her trembling."Jade...I missed you..."she whimpered.Jadeite smiled at her.How he loved her beautiful violet eyes."Please Rei...dry those eyes...I'm here..I missed you too."he said soothingly."You look so beautiful..."he whispered. Nephlite held Makoto.Though she was strong and brave,emotionally it wasn't the truth...the mask she put up wasn't the truth.Inside she was a scared frightened girl who feared.Makoto sobbed quietly onto his shoulder."Mako.." he whispered. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At that moment,Molly walked in.Her eyes fell on Nephlite holding the brown haired girl,Makoto.She gasped. *Did he love her?Makoto and not her...??Makoto was more beautiful than she would ever be.*Molly felt hurt. Nephlite looked up and saw Molly staring at him.He noticed the look in her eyes.He was sorry.... Molly shook her head and walked toward Lord Melvin.Melvin loved her.She had decided...she was going to marry Lord Melvin..... Nephlite felt sorry for Molly...*I'm sorry Molly...We could have had the world....but now...only Makoto matters..*he thought. Molly then walked over towards them."Hello Nephlite..."said Molly.Nephlite nodded."Molly.."he replied. Makoto looked up."Mako...I want you to meet.."he began."We've met m'love." she said. Molly's heart winced.*Mako??He called her a short name...She called him 'm'love'*she thought to herself. Makoto noticed the tension that passed between Molly and Nephlite. "I'm not sure your majesty,I believe she is one of the girls from the New World...she was raised there..."said Rebecca. "The New World???Raised by the savages???"exclaimed King Darius."Now dear, she is the first girl I've seen our son handle with such love and care.If she can change Endymion....she can't be all bad."said Queen Ester. King Darius grumbled."Now Darius...."said Queen Ester soothingly. Endymion held Serenity's hand.She smiled."Serenity..would you like to dance?"he asked. Serenity smiled."Yes I would..."she said.Endymion led her onto the dance floor.A few sighs could be heard.Serenity arched her eyebrow. "Endy.."she began.Endymion silenced her..."Shhhh..Do not worry..."he whispered in her ear. Endymion spun her out and back again into his arms.Serenity looked over his shoulder.She could see her friends dancing too. At that moment,a boy tapped Endymion."Your highness?"he asked. Endymion looked up."Yes?"he asked."Your parents want to talk to you.Dinner will be served shortly.They want you at the table."said the boy. Endymion nodded.He turned to look at Serenity."Forgive me love,my parents wish to see me."he said. Serenity looked up.She gave a slight nod.Endymion felt a twinge of guilt seeing her beautiful blue orbs look down onto the floor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Serenity felt cold.Without Endymion,she felt lonely....She felt a tap on her shoulder.Serenity spun around.She saw a young man with blue eyes.He had unusual white hair like Kunzite.He wore a white suit. "Hello,Would you like to dance?My name is Dimando."he said.Serenity stared at him curiously."I accept."she said slowly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Minako,Rei,Ami and Makoto stood together.Their love's had joined Prince Endymion at the long table. Endymion frowned."It was...pleasant."he muttered."Excuse me."he said going away.Leaving an angry red-faced Beryl. The song ended and a man announced that dinner would be served.Serenity broke away from the man and hurried towards her friends. When she reached her friends it was clear they were dumbfounded.Serenity began to shiver.She wished she was in Endymion's arms or she was back home on the New World. Then a pair of warm arm encircled her."Miss me?"asked a voice.Serenity looked up to see the deepest-blue eyes she had ever seen."Endy!!"she cried excited. Endymion smiled at her happy face.Whenever he saw her smile or laugh,he'd fall in love all over again.He didn't know how she did it but it didn't matter.He leaned down to kiss her cheek.Serenity smiled. "Come,my love.Let me introduce you to my parents.."he said smiling."Endy?" she exclaimed unsure."Yes?"he asked."Do-do you think your mother and father will like me?"asked Serenity. "Beloved...they'll love you...just as I do."he said kissing her forehead. Queen Ester looked at the girl.She wore a white gown which suited her perfectly.Her golden sun hair swept up and decorated with roses and pearls. She had a kind face and clear sapphire-blue eyes...Queen Ester liked her already.... King Darius exchanged a look with Queen Ester..Queen Ester merely smiled. "Father,mother..."said Endymion bowing.The girl curtseyed.*Hmmm...being raised in the New World...but she had manners like a charm..*thought the Queen. "I want you to meet Serenity..."said Endymion."Serenity?What a lovely name you have..."said Queen Ester. "Thank you your majesty.."she said weakly.Endymion looked at her with concern."Are you alright?"he asked. King Darius nodded..."You like her already don't you,Ester?"asked King Darius chuckling. Endymion sat by the lake.He sighed....he looked her way.She was talking with her friends.His generals were off somewhere. He smiled.He liked looking at her.*She's so beautiful...I'm so lucky.*he thought to himself.*Before we left the New World,I asked her to marry me... Does she still want to??Does she still feel the same?*he asked himself absent mindedly skipping stones along the water.
