A beautiful dark-green haired girl knocked the door. She was of about 17 years old. A two-color-haired woman opened the door. "Oh, hi, Nintai. Come in." The girl entered smiling into the living room of the house. A pair of twin girls looked at her from a sofa. One was aquamarine-haired and wore glasses, while her sister had violet hair. "Hi, Nintai! I'm teaching Megu how to solve quadratic equations." "Umi!" cried the twin, "Nintai, she thinks I'm dumb." Nintai sat at their side, happy. They were only some months younger, but for them Nintai was as the older sister they had to respect. The three girls started talking. A blonde boy, of about their age, came in. "Oh, Ryuu's girlfriend is here." "Niji! Shut up!" cried Umi. He smiled mischievously. "Excuse me. Welcome here, Nintai." He left the room. The woman who had opened the door came back with a black-haired guy about a year older than the twins. "Sorry for making you wait, Nintai." "Hi, Ryuu. Are you ready to go?" "Sure. Bye Mom, bye sisters!" He ran to Nintai, kissed her and grabbing her arm, they left. Ryuu's mom entered the palace wearing a royal dress. Another woman, whose only difference with Nintai was her eye color and age, was expecting her. At the end of a room, a lady with two odango in her hair was looking at them from a throne. "Neo-Queen Serenity," whispered Nintai's mother. "Selene Meg," said the Queen to Ryuu's mom. "Setsuna..." she now stared at the woman. "What's going on? Something to do with our kids?" "Yes and no. Ryuu and Nintai are the eldest Senshi of the new generation, and I need their help. An emergency has appeared in the past." A crystal appeared between them. It showed the old Frozen Tokyo been attacked by three guys and two girls. "Those five strangers are attacking with no contemplations. We need to stop them, because I can feel soon they'll change our past. It's from twenty years before the awakening; they are trying to stop Crystal Tokyo's creation." The crystal disappeared. "They have come from the future, but this warning may not have reached them yet. I was thinking we need a specific group of people..." She stood up. "The mysterious Sailor Vulcan from the past, when she was strongest; we need Mitsuki of the future, were she must have develop more power; and a future Moon heir, her daughter or so..." Setsuna blinked. "But Serenity, relaying in the future can be dangerous..." Selene seemed worried. "I know, but this information has been given to me by a vision of the Silver Crystal, I have to believe it. And of course, to join this team, I need the two most powerful Senshi of our time, and they are Nintai and Ryuu. Only Kage and Mitsuki may have such power, but they are too young and the time wave could affect them more. Nintai has power over time paradoxes and her link to Ryuu protects him too." Setsuna looked serious. "I had sensed trouble coming but I didn't identify the source." "Nobody expected this to happen, Setsuna. And you know our powers weakened when we had kids, and almost vanished when Mitsuki awoke their powers," excused Selene Meg. "I know." Selene smiled. "Then we should tell our kids." "Do you know where they are?" "They are at the movies, but we can bring them here..." Ryuu passed his arm around Nintai. She placed her head in his shoulder. "Isn't this nice?" "Yes." "I love you so much." "As I do..." They kissed. Suddenly, a light covered them. When they opened their eyes, their cinema seats were in the middle of Setsuna, Selene Meg and the Queen. They separated from each other, red of embarrassment. The women smiled. "We are sorry to interrupt you but there is an urgent matter we have to discuss with you," explained the Queen. "Nintai, have you been feeling some strange aura from some time?" She gave her mother a strange look. "Well, I had been feeling something, but I wasn't sure..." Serenity came to them. "You two may be the only ones that can protect us from this wave, I'm asking you to go to the past and stop an attack during the sleeping period. Will you?" "It's quite unexpected, your majesty," said Ryuu, "but if we are together we can do anything." He took Nintai's hand. The Queen smiled. Half an hour later they were ready to go. The Queen had told them where to find their team: four years ago, four years from now and thirty years from now. Nintai had written all out. "Ok then, we are ready to go." "First transform," said Megumi. They smiled. "Pluto Galactic Power, Make-Up!" whispered Nintai. "Moonlight warrior, transformation!" said Ryuu. Nintai, all transformed, looked at her mother. "How do I start?" "Raise the staff; you'll know what to say." She kissed her daughter's forehead. Nintai walked to Ryuu's side. She held his hand with one hand and raised the staff with the other. "For the powers of time, Father Chronos, I call you. Open a time door to four years before my present time..." A ring of clouds appeared at their heads. They started floating towards the clouds. "Good luck," said the Queen. A long-brown-haired girl went out of the Hana Academy. "Wait, Hikari!" called some other girl. She turned. "Yes, Seiko?" "Please, don't be too harsh to my brother. He's trying so hard, he thinks you are incredible..." Hikari smiled. "I'm sorry I had to turn him down, but I do love someone else..." She left. Hikari walked fast (not running) to some elegant house. She knocked, and the nurse who opened the door let her in. She reached a room in the second floor, where a boy was in a bed. "Hi, Hikari." "Hi, Taiyou." Her face was all flushed. She kissed him, and sat at the chair near him. "How was school?" "Fine... I was missing you." She kissed his hand. "I love you..." Nintai opened her eyes. She was at a tree's shadow, at the side of a sleeping Ryuu. Both had their normal clothes. She blushed, and touched his face. "Wake up!" He opened his eyes and smiled to her. "Hi, Nintai..." He opened his eyes opened. "Where are we? What's' up?" "We felt asleep, I guess this is the past." They stood up. "So, what should we do?" "Look for Sailor Vulcan, I guess." Nintai took her notepad. "Her name is Hikari Kazanno. She's been hiding from the other Senshi since Queen Hecate was destroyed." "The dark Senshi of the Volcano. I wonder how she is doing." Hikari grabbed Taiyou's hand with force. "Taiyou!" She fell to the ground and red fire came out from her fingertips. She blew them off and stood up with a dark face. "I'm sorry you had to see that, Taiyou." "No problem... I think your power wants to come out." "Maybe-- Well, I must go to cook me dinner. Bye, Taiyou." They kissed and Hikari left. Nintai and Ryuu saw Hikari coming out of Taiyou's house. "That face... Could she be?" "I don't know, I was just 3 when she and Queen Hecate attacked." "I was a little younger, but her face... I can't forget her. Those red eyes... She is Sailor Vulcan." They started following her. Hikari looked through her shoulders. "Those two are following me!" She started her way to the park. When they were inside it, she turned. "What do you want?" Nintai and Ryuu thought she hadn't seen them, but they covered their surprise. "Are you Hikari Kazanno?" "Yes. Who are you?" "I'm Nintai Tomoe, daughter of Sailor Pluto." "I'm Ryuu Gingekko, son of Sailor Andromeda and Silver Defender." They both smiled. "I'm Crystal Sailor Pluto." "I'm Silver Hunter." Hikari got pale. "Nintai and Ryuu are just twelve years old," she replied making calculations in her head. "We come from the future, Sailor Vulcan." "I'm not Sailor Vulcan!" Hikari seemed perturbed. "I'm not that warrior..." "We need you; a problem has appeared in a past time. We need your power, the power of a solitaire Sailor Senshi that doesn't rely in a team." "I'm not a Senshi!" Hikari fell in her knees, putting her hands in her head. Her hair started floating in the air and turned white. A necklace fell in the ground. "Ryuu, that necklace has Vulcan sign in it, as all the Sailor girls have since our last power up, but that will happen two years in the future from this time." "I guess she was the first to be powered up, even before us..." They didn't notice Hikari had raised her face. "Ha, ha..." They looked at her and her eyes were black. Her face had acquired evil looks. "What happened?" "She was trying so hard to keep her Vulcan power inside that she didn't noticed I was waking up! I'm Cassiopeia, Hikari is no longer available." Ryuu whitened. "I can't believe this..." "What's going on, Ryuu?" Ryuu gave Nintai and anxious look. "Sailor Vulcan was first seen in Earth in a battle against my sisters, when they traveled in time to meet my mother. Vulcan had been trapped in the Black Cassiopeia Crystal, and it possessed a girl. Cassiopeia had turned Vulcan's power to herself, and Sailor Andromeda defeated her. Sailor Vulcan was reincarnated as a normal girl, but Queen Hecate awoke her... but not the evil Cassiopeia entity!" Cassiopeia was laughing, her clothes turned to a black dress. "We awoke her?" "As Mei Aki did." "Whom?" "The possessed girl we used last time was Mei Aki," cleared Cassiopeia. "She got rid of them by discovering she indeed had friends. Mei was an orphan and lonely. Hikari is too, Hecate killed her parents. We don't know if she has any friends," whispered Ryuu. Cassiopeia smiled and flew away. Nintai rushed to the Vulcan necklace. There was a locket in it too. It had Taiyou's photo. "Who is this guy?" "Her boyfriend?" Nintai stood up. "Maybe we could find any clues in the house we saw her come out." "Let's go there." They ran to the street. The sky had turned red. Nintai rang the bell. A nurse came out. "Yes?" "Hi, we are friends of Hikari Kazanno. Could you let us talk to this boy?" said Nintai with a sweet voice, showing the locket. "I can't. Mrs. Aki-Kano doesn't like any strangers see her son." "Aki?" whispered Nintai. Ryuu was surprised. "He is Mei's son... Nintai, use your power." Nintai smiled to the confused nurse. "Miss, your time has stopped for a minute." The nurse was paralyzed. "I love to use the personal Time-Stop." They ran upstairs. Nintai opened Taiyou's door. She and Ryuu entered at the same time, and looked at the sick boy. "Who are you?" "I'm Nintai and he is Ryuu. We are friends of Hikari Kazanno." "Hikari doesn't have friends, why did Miss Suzume let you in?" Nintai took Hikari's necklace and placed it in Taiyou's hand. "You know about Vulcan?" Taiyou was paler than ever. "Yes, do you know about Cassiopeia?" asked Nintai. "The dark prism that trapped her by Moon's power. It developed a cruel personality and possessed my mother in her young days." Ryuu smiled. "Then you are Mei's son." Taiyou nodded. "Hikari looked for mom when she was healed. She met me when my father had just died. At first, Mom and I didn't want to know anything about her. But then she proved her heart... And we fell in love." Ryuu nodded. "Cassiopeia has control over her again. We need Sailor Vulcan to protect this future. Something awful is happening in the past, we have to stop it to prevent a time paradox from happening." Ryuu looked at Taiyou. "How can I help?" Nintai smiled at him. "We must destroy Cassiopeia, not Vulcan. She was once defeated by friendship, love has to work. Only you can do it." An explosion was heard. "Fire!" shouted several people. "Cassiopeia is there..." "Take me with her," said Taiyou. The Queen was alone in her throne. Setsuna walked to her with a newspaper. "You sent them just in the correct date... The day Cassiopeia attacked Crystal Tokyo." "They have to fight her. That's why I wanted them to look for Sailor Vulcan. Her terrible alter ego could really harm us then." Setsuna nodded. "I see, Neo-Queen Serenity." Nintai and Ryuu took Taiyou to Cassiopeia, who was throwing fire. "Hikari!" She turned, and for a second her face softened. But the dark look of Cassiopeia returned. "You want to defy me?" "Pluto Galactic Power, Make-Up!" whispered Nintai. Shadows came from her necklace and covered her body. Her shadowy silhouette appeared in a reddish background and then all her Sailor Suit. Her face and skin were slowly shown and she stood in a pose. "Moonlight warrior, transformation!" said Ryuu. He took a sapphire dagger out, a light from it covered him and then he reappeared dressed in a silver outfit and a mask. "From the future moon..." "We are the crystal protectors..." "I'm Crystal Sailor Pluto!" "I'm Silver Hunter!" Cassiopeia smiled evilly. "Senshi... I don't care. Dark Lighting of Cassiopeia!" Nintai stood in front of Taiyou to protect him. The attack made her fell in her knees. "Nin-chan!" Ryuu ran to her and hold her. She smiled. "Don't worry..." He stood furious. "Silver Feather Laser!" A feather flew from his wrist and instantly hurt Cassiopeia's chest. She screamed. Taiyou looked at her. "Hikari!" She looked at him and her eyes shone. "Who-- Who are you?" "I'm Taiyou Kano, you know me." Cassiopeia's dark eyes returned. "No, I don't... Die!" But her attack didn't come from her hand. "Your heart won't hurt me, Hikari." Taiyou smiled. Cassiopeia looked confused. "Taiyou?" "You know me, we are in love!" "Love..." said Hikari's voice. She put her hands in her face. "She is inside me, Taiyou... She has to come out!" "Come here, Hikari." Cassiopeia flew to him and he covered her with his arms. Her hair returned to its size and she recovered her normal colors. The dress disappeared and was replaced by her school uniform. Hikari smiled at Taiyou. A shadow came out of her body and formed a New Cassiopeia. "At last I'm free of her. You know, I had been trapped in the prism long before Vulcan was inside. I took power over her and controlled her body. But now I have enough energy to be free..." Hikari hugged Taiyou. "She's wicked. I'll protect you." Ryuu turned to her. "You must transform into Sailor Vulcan." Taiyou gave her the Vulcan necklace. "Vulcan Revenge Power, Make-Up!" Nothing happened. "I used to say those words... Why don't they work?" Nintai raised her head. "You have powered-up, Hikari. Feel the new words inside." Hikari closed her eyes. Cassiopeia threw a ray to her. Taiyou received it. "Do it, Hikari..." Her eyes threw some tears. "I feel them inside me..." "Vulcan Galactic Power! Make-Up!" Her body gleamed as lava. Some explosions made her golden and brown suit appear. She stood in a pose. "For the magma of revenge, I'm the dark Senshi, Crystal Sailor Vulcan." Cassiopeia looked at her with hate. "I'll kill you!" "No! I know you can't beat me. You have made me powerful!" Vulcan joined her hands, the right one looking down. She raised it in front of her eyes as fire appeared between her hands. "Blazing Braun Lava!" A rain of lava covered Cassiopeia. She screamed and turned into ashes. Vulcan smiled, and turned to look at Taiyou. "Are you OK? If it wasn't for you, I would never win..." They kissed. Nintai, held by Ryuu, came to them. "Sailor Vulcan, we need you to come with us." Hikari looked at Taiyou and then to the two Senshi. "You said something about a time paradox... Will it affect Taiyou?" "Yes, Crystal Tokyo's existence is in danger." "Then I'll have to go. Right now?" "Yes, we are running out of time." Hikari turned to Taiyou. "I'll be back. I'll do this for you." "I know you'll beat all the enemies." They kissed one last time. Hikari walked to Nintai and Ryuu. "For the powers of time, Father Chronos, I call you. Open a time door to eight years from my present time!" They floated to a ring of clouds. Taiyou looked at them as they disappeared. "I'll be waiting, Hikari." "Master Taiyou!!" His nurse ran to him. She looked upset. "I didn't know where you were!" He smiled and looked back to the sky. Neo-Queen Serenity walked to the curtains back in her throne. A brown haired woman was there with a baby in her arms. "Sorry I made you wait." "It's Ok, your majesty." "You can call me Usagi if you want, Hikari, you are Senshi as the rest." "Ok... Usagi. Taiyou and I just wanted your blessing for Nozomi." "Of course, she is the heir of the Vulcan line." Serenity held the baby girl. "Powers of the White Moon, antique Vulcan Empire, I bless you, Nozomi Kano, as a future Senshi." The Vulcan symbol blinked in her forehead. "She has the power. Well, I have to continue watching our time travelers." Hikari smiled and left. "Serenity?" The queen re-appeared in the room, where Selene and Setsuna were. "Sorry, I had some business to look after. "Where are they now?" "In the future... The most sensitive and dangerous place to go!"
