No answer. After Akashi was kidnapped, Mizumi had been ill. But after she had seen him again, she just didn't want to see anyone. Her best friend wanted to confront her. Akashi had to be saved, and her lamentations wouldn't help. Umi opened the door and stood impressed. "My God!" Mizumi's room was covered by bubbles of every size, and she kept blowing them with a pitiful face. "Mizzy, what on Earth are you doing?" "Akashi is now in love with Eris and she'll kiss him when she likes. Me... I'm just killing time." Umi took the bubble-maker from her. "Don't be ridiculous, Akashi is in love with you. You told me about his desk, all the writings of hearts and your name. He loves you, he was jealous of you and Ken. He didn't come to the party to avoid seeing you with another date!" Mizumi looked at her with a glow of hope. "You really think Eris..." "She's controlling him, and you know it. You are just in this weird denial state." Miss Urawa looked at her old toys, which were spread over her bed. "I have to grow up. I'll stop my bubbles, for now." Umi smiled calmly. It was night, and Ryuu and Nintai were together, at the Marine Balcony. He smiled at her. "I have to get going, you want to stay longer?" "Yes, I'm kind of sad and I want some quality time by self, alright?" He nodded and kissed her. "I call you tomorrow." Ryuu left, and Nintai stood looking at the sea. "I know you are here," she mumbled. Kioku appeared at her back. "My dearest..." She turned defiant. "Are you after me?" "Of course. Who wouldn't fall for a beauty of yourself?" Nintai looked down. "I know who you are in real, and what are you and your sisters using as a weapon." Kioku hugged her waist. "I guess you have. You are pretty perspicuous." Nintai was uncomfortable, but she didn't move. If Ryuu felt she was in danger, he would come back. And she didn't want him here, at least, not yet. "If I give myself to you, would you stop everything?" "I don't know." Nintai pushed him away. "I will if you promise me, please." Kioku laughed. "You really think I'm in love with you, right? I just want you and I can force you to be in love with me. I don't need your true soul." Kioku changed into Ares. Nintai smiled, relieved. "At least, I tried... Pluto Galactic Power, Make-up!" Sailor Pluto stood in defensive attitude. Mitsuki, who was in bed, opened her eyes. "She is calling us... Nintai." She stood up in a rush and ran from the palace still in her pajamas. A pink cat saw her go out, and then noticed a little figure following her. The cat ran after that figure. Ryuu was leaving the Marine Park, when he felt Nintai calling him. Since they had been kids, they had this connection that no one understood. He knew he loved her and hat he'll do anything to protect her. He turned and started his way to Nintai. "Moonlight warrior, transformation!" "Dark Water Ray!" Pluto received the attack, and fell in the ground. "You don't have enough power to defeat me. Mitsuki ran to Nintai from the trees. She had used her wings, which disappeared at wish. Ryuu arrived a moment later. "Moon Royal Power, Make-up!" She turned into Sailor Star Moon. "Pluto..." she whispered looking at Nintai. Ares gave her a curious look. "Pretty princess, I don't want to fight." He jumped to Nintai's back and trapped her in his arms. "Nintai!" "Ryuu..." Ares threw her to the air, where she tried to reach Ryuu's hand until she disappeared in the dark water. Ares laughed at Ryuu's angry face. But then, his sight was lost in the forest and his smiled had disappeared. Mitsuki looked to the point and saw it was ChibiChibi, walking slowly to them. She gleamed as she walked and turned in an older version of herself. "Cosmos--- Hope..." mumbled Ares. She smiled. "I'm here, brother." Mitsuki's eyes widened. Ares floated to ChibiChibi's side. "Sister, come with us. We'll beat the Crystal Senshi and we'll rule this planet." Her sister's eyes filled with tears. "No. You have chosen the dark way." He laughed. "You continue to be a fool, just like mother before Chaos came again. She's again so good and you are at her side." ChibiChibi looked at Mitsuki. "The Crystal Senshi will defeat you." "Maybe. I'll make a deal with you. A week from now, we'll confront the remaining ones. It will be a planned final battle. If we kill or possess them all, you'll come with us." ChibiChibi pointed at the princess. "Ok," she whispered. Ares smiled and disappeared. ChibiChibi walked to Mitsuki. "You have a week. Prepare your team." She returned to her little form. "Chibi..." Sailor Star Moon turned to Ryuu, who was looking seriously at the sky. "We'll beat them," she said touching his shoulder, "and Nintai will return to us." When she was turning to ChibiChibi, a pink cat jumped to her. "Counselor Diana. Do you know why ChibiChibi is here?" The cat nodded. "She was following you, and I was following her. What has happened?" "Well," started Mitsuki, but she stopped when she saw ChibiChibi had fallen asleep. The seven-member team gathered at the palace. Everyone seemed depressed. When Mitsuki told them about their 'final battle,' they seemed to collapse. "A confrontation? Are you mad? They'll destroy us," said Umi in desolation. Ken and Mizumi were heart-broken and continued to sigh. Kage seemed worried. Mitsuki was all shaky. Ryuu seemed in shock, and the twins were about to cry. The Sailor Starlights came in. "We've been told about you battle." Mitsuki smiled. "Will you fight with us?" Star Healer looked down. "We don't like admitting it, but we aren't the soldiers we used to be. We are old, and our attacks have lost their power." Maker nodded. "We may seem young, but actually, we are some old ladies." "As Queen Odango," finished Seiya. But Maker smiled at the princess. "We can still help you train and acquire more power." Mizumi looked at them. "We aren't as strong as our predecessors." "You are stronger than you mother," interrupted Maker, "Ami was the weakest inner Senshi in compensation of her smart head. You have your mother intelligence but are stronger in your attacks. Hey, you saved us, remember?" Mizumi blushed. "You name means lagoon, right?" Mizumi gave Seiya a funny look. "No, that's Mizu-umi. I'm Mizumi: Beautiful Water." "Oh." Healer clapped her hands, "Any way, we have to start getting ready." "Wait," said a voice. Two translucent figures appeared in the window. They were Nintai and Hiouko. Mitsuki reached her brooch. "We aren't your enemies," said Hiouko. Ken's face looked her delighted. "We haven't been possessed, yet." Nintai sighed and continued. "They are using love as their weapon; you have to use the same to stop them." Hiouko looked at the twins. "You know their disguise personalities: Kioku, Asa and Yoake Akuno. "Those!" cried Mizumi, Umi and Kage, while the red Sailor Senshi disappeared again. The Starlights looked at each other. "They use love?" "Love versus love?" Umi stood up. "That's all about. They make us jealous, unfaithful, and passionate so we lose control of ourselves." "They controlled Akuji and me!" said Megu. "They were trying to ruin Hiouko's trust in me." Mitsuki smiled with new energies. "If they are using our love, we'll fight them back with our true hearts. Even if ChibiChibi doesn't explain us all." From the door, a little figure smiled. In the Akuno's house, everything was dark as the outside night. Belona looked at Hiouko's and Nintai's bodies. "We can't get in their heads again. Since they are together, they have blocked my access into their minds. They are psychic or something." Ares nodded. Belona looked at him. "You are thinking of the battle? Why did you make that deal?" He gave her a dark look. "She must join us. Cosmos Hope is too powerful to be our enemy. If this works out, she'll be at our side." "What if we lose?" Ares raised his eyebrow. "You think so?" Belona looked up. "I guess our chances are better than theirs. They are so sickly dependant in their loved ones. Though, I'm worried about Crystal Saturn Kamen. He has a lot of energy and was the one who killed Chaos." Eris walked to them. "But he is confused, and we can make him be frightened of himself." Their siblings didn't understand. "Leave it up to me." Eris disappeared. Kage was sleeping, and started to dream. But he then felt as ice had covered his heart and Eris appeared in his head. "Saturn..." "You. You are Eris. What are you doing here?" Eris smiled and kneeled in front of him. "You are our master, god of the Chaos. I just want my new orders." He was pale. "Leader? No, I'm not." Eris walked to him. "Of course you are; you have been ordering us all along. Don't you remember?" "NO!" Kage opened his eyes, and saw he had the Silence Glaive in his hand. He turned and saw he was out of his room, in the street. His house was in fire. "Mother! Father!" A ball of energy came from his house and dropped at his side. Hotaru and his husband were there. She had a glaive's blade. "Mom!" cried Kage hugging her. Hotaru smiled. "Fortunately, I had this blade in my room. It always protects us. But I wonder what caused that fire..." Kenshin Shiouno, Kage's father, hugged them. Kage was speechless. "It was me... Chaos is controlling me and I can't remember..." Eris, from the top of a tree, was laughing. At morning, Mitsuki and her parents were walking in the palace garden. Usagi and Helios were talking to each other as Mitsuki was looking at some flowers with Diana. "Usa, you think she has a chance." "I hope so, love is powerful. Her own love must be stronger than the deformed version of the enemies." She dropped a tear. Helios kissed her cheeks. "My Small Lady, my princess, my Usa." They kissed. Mitsuki smiled looking at them. She took Diana in her arms, and left them by themselves. "Diana, my parents love each other so much... You were there when they first met, right?" "Well, I'm not sure I was there in that instant, by I saw how their feelings were growing as they knew each other." Mitsuki looked down. "Do you think that, if I die, they could have another heir to the throne?" Diana gave her a surprised look. "Why, Princess Mitsuki Small Lady Serenity Yumeno? You won't die." Mitsuki smiled. "That name... I don't know, Diana. Maybe tomorrow I'll be killed by the Discordia Gang." "You won't be defeated. And if you do, there wouldn't be a throne to inherit. But Crystal Tokyo won't fall! That's the truth" Diana had complete faith. "Thanks, anyway. When are your kittens to be born?" Diana was pregnant for a time, now. Her partner, Tom, was a common cat whom her parents had given the ability to talk. "I think I'm due in a week or so. Tom is so exited about it." Mitsuki looked up. "He comes from the past, right?" "Yes. I brought him here when her mother died. I met him in my test to go to the past with your mother." Mitsuki petted Diana. "You crossed frontiers of time for your love. I wonder is mine is so strong." But inside herself, she wondered if she'll live to have a future and maybe had kittens (will, kids) as Diana. To be continued...
