He was also a regular science expositor in both the Neo-Juuban and the Zuishou High School (that was his mother's.) But he loved teaching. But, this year he was in charge of a bunch of sixteen-year-old girls, and he had trouble handling girls only two years younger than him. There were few boys in the Academy and for his bad luck, his class had none. Though, he had been elected Teacher of the Month. "Sorry I'm late, girls," he greeted as he came in. Every girl looked at him with wide eyes, especially one on the front seat. It was the same girl that had come to club with her brother and sister the day the Senshi had gone, but was now wearing her uniform, unlike her red dress. She raised her hand. "Yes?" "I'm sorry to disturb you, but I'm a new student." Takashi's eyes opened in surprise. "I'm sorry, I didn't notice. What's your name, please?" The girl rolled her eyelashes. "Yoake Akuno. My family just arrived to Crystal Tokyo." "Very well, welcome to our city. I hope all your classmates will be gad to show you around." Takashi opened his briefcase. "Now, to our subject. This week we'll be seeing the Relativity Theory." Yoake called one of her classmates. "What's the deal with him?" "What do you mean?" "Single? Married? What?" The girl blushed. "He's single, but she dates this amazingly beautiful blonde. They've been together for long." Yoake smiled and looked at him. "Girlfriends don't matter. Wives... just a bit." "Yes?" said Nintai coming in front of the clock shop she worked in. Her customer was Yoake's sister, the one in green. When Nintai looked at her, she felt a funny feeling of alert. "Hello!" greeted the girl. "How may I help you?" "Oh, I just want to buy that black clock you have there." "Of course," answered Nintai, bringing it down and telling her the prize. The customer paid with a card. "Ok, that would be all, Miss..." Nintai read the card before giving it back to its owner. "Miss Akuno." The girl smiled widely, and Nintai felt a pain in the back. "Just call me Asa, alright?" Asa waved goodbye and left the shop with her new clock in her hands. Takashi came out of school and walked to the Candy Store near by. Yoake was following him, but he didn't notice. She watched as he greeted the dependant, Kirame. "How was school today?" "Fine. Only there is this new girl in class who makes me kind of nervous... Yoake Akuno." Kirame raised her eyebrows. "What a name." "She's strange. I can't forget her eyes." Kirame blushed and her voice got chilly. "What a thing to tell your girlfriend." Takashi smiled and kissed her hands. "Don't be silly, it's not like that. It's just that her look seemed so full of darkness..." Yoake smiled in her hiding place. "It's just my soul, dear teacher." Mizumi gave one last took to the mirror and smiled. "I'm leaving now, Mom." Ami Mizuno Urawa came to the door. "Oh, you look precious, Mizumi. I love how you pulled your hair up." Her daughter blushed. "Well, it's a date. I have to look good." "A date? With Akashi, I suppose?" Mizumi's eyes saddened. "No, Mom. With Ken Arashino." Mrs. Urawa gave her a smart look. "Ken? But I thought you liked Akashi and were bored of Ken asking you out every time." "So, now it's wrong I go out with Ken?" Mizumi's eyes were defiant. "Of course not, I like her mother very much and are fond of him, it just seems..." "Just drop it," said Mizumi opening the door. "I see, you are trying to make him jealous." Mizumi stopped and looked at her mother. "Sorry?" "You are trying to make Akashi jealous. Your father tried with me too." "Don't be a fool, Mom." Mizumi closed the door after she came out and ran to the car that was waiting for her: Ken's. Akashi looked as Mizumi entered the car and it drove away. "How can she do this?" He was hiding behind a tree of the Urawa's yard. Kin-kun, who was at his side, turned to him. "Are you sure you want to do this?" "Of course." Both guys got on Kin-kun's motorcycle and followed the car. Ken's date wasn't what he expected. They were in his mother's restaurant: Mako-chan's and had the best table, but even though... Mizumi seemed bored for times and didn't touch the food. Strangely enough, Ken wasn't disappointed. He felt that this was the closure he needed for his fixation for Mizumi. Today she just seemed an ordinary girl, friendly but not to be his girlfriend. "You haven't eaten a bit." The girl stared at him for some seconds, until she seemed to wake up. "Oh, I'm sorry, Ken. I guess I'm not very hungry." Ken smiled. "Don't fool me, Mizumi. You are having a terrible time, right? You just agreed to come to make Akashi jealous." Mizumi looked at him with embarrassment. "Am I so obvious?" Ken gave her a calm look. "Don't worry, its ok." "I'm so sorry, Ken..." Her eyes filled with tears. "It's alright, really. Go wait by the door while I pay. I'll take you back home." Mizumi smiled. "I'm sorry." Neither Akashi nor Kin-kun could hear what they were saying, but just watched them from a window, near the front door. "What are you doing?" asked a sharp voice. Both boys jumped backwards. "Nothing," they both said. Asa Akuno looked at them with curiosity. "Are you spying on someone?" She draw near the window and looked at Mizumi and Ken talking. "I guess one of you is checking that girl out. Who of you, cute guys, likes her?" Akashi blushed. Asa touched his cheek. "Such a handsome boy suffering for a girl... Pity..." Kin-kun felt something when she smiled evilly. He tried to push her away from Akashi but he couldn't move. Mizumi started to come to the door. Asa draw Akashi's face at hers, while he looked hypnotized. "Let me help you..." Mizumi crossed the door in the moment Asa kissed Akashi. She stood surprised. "Akashi..." He seemed to wake up and looked at her confused. "Mizu-chan." "Don't you call me like that!" Ken came out. "What's going on?" "Take me home, Ken!" Mizumi ran away to Ken's car. "Mizu-chan!" Akashi intended to run after her but Ken stopped him. "Leave her alone. I think you should leave her alone for now." Kin-kun got at their side. "He's right, Akashi." Akashi stopped and looked back. Asa had disappeared. "Who was that girl?" Mizumi's eyes were red and she was still in bed. Umi was sitting at her side. "He's been calling, but I can't hear him. I can't look at his eyes again... My plan screw up things between us... Akashi has a substitute for me!" Umi looked at her with pity. "I'm so sorry, but I guess that you had been so much time together with nothing happening. Maybe it wasn't meant to be..." Mizumi shook her head. "We were, Umi, and some things did happen. We kissed once." Her friend's eyes widened. "Really? You didn't tell me... When?" "In the Homecoming Dance, last year. We kept it as a secret because we didn't want to ruin our friendship... yet. That kiss was magical, Umi. I was waiting him to have the guts to tell me his feelings--but now..." Umi hugged her best friend. "I'm so sorry." "I love him, Umi!" Nintai knocked the door of her mother's room. "Mom?" "Hi, Nintai," greeted Setsuna looking at the mirror, "I'm going to the labs." "Mother... I had felt the energy Hiouko sensed even before she did..." Mrs. Tomoe looked at her worried. "Since when?" "Two months." Setsuna sat in her bed. "Nintai... You were afraid, right? You inherited my powers of seeing disasters. What have you seen?" Her daughter sat at her side. "It's strange. I think I saw people being attacked by their feelings... by their own hearts." Setsuna looked at the sky. "Using feelings as a weapon?" "Yes." Setsuna hugged her girl. "This is dangerous. I'll write it to Serenity, so they won't know she is informed, as Hiouko." Yoake smiled evilly and entered Kirame's Candy Store wearing her Hana Academy uniform. "Hello!" Kirame smiled at her. "What can I do for you?" "I want something special for my new love." The blonde girl smiled and took out a heart-shaped chocolate box. "Something like this?" "Yes, it's just what I wanted." Kirame started packing it up while Yoake gave her cash. "I'm so in love with him... Do you have a boyfriend?" "Actually, I do. He's such a wonderful guy." Yoake grinned. "Mine too... Though, we have to keep our love in secret." "Why?" The girl's eyes shone. "He is my teacher." Kirame looked at her with curiosity. She was a Hana Academy's student, Takashi was a Hana Academy's teacher. "Really?" "He looks SO cute when he is explaining the Relativity Theory." Kirame gave Yoake her package, worried. Takashi was teaching that, he had told her. "And what's your boyfriend's name." "I can't tell. He'll be in trouble. Thanks and bye!" Yoake ran away happily, and Kirame was pale. "I must talk to Takashi." Niji walked by a park, thinking about his fight with Akuji. He was his best friend since... ever. "But he was about to reveal my secret... If Umi knew what I felt for her... I'm like a brother for her." Umi sat in her balcony. "Mizumi at least had a kiss... Now, Akuji was talking about something Niji hides about me... What if...? No... I'm like a sister for him, but I... I like him so much. I love being home because I know he'll be here most of the time." She sighed looking at the sky. Akashi, very concerned, knocked Urawa's door. Dr. Mizuno came out. "Hi, Dr. Mizuno." Ami looked at him with sadness. "It's you, Akashi." "May I talk to Mizumi?" "I'll be honest with you. She's pretty mad with you." Ami came out and closed the door behind her. "Akashi, I really though you were perfect for my daughter but... why were you kissing that other girl?" "Mizumi was dating Ken," he said as an excuse. Ami smiled. "Can't you guess why?" She came in. Umi walked slowly to a store. Megumi, her mother, had sent her to buy some rice. "Niji... I should stop thinking about you." She turned and saw him walking to her, distracted "Oh, my. Did I call him with my mind?" But then, she hit a guy, and fell in the floor. "I'm so sorry, Miss." She looked at him and saw he was handsome. Though, she didn't know he was Asa and Yoake's brother. "Are you ok'" "Yes, I' fine." He helped her up. "I'm Kioku Akuno. I'm really sorry." "Don't worry, I'm fine." She looked toward Niji, but he wasn't there anymore. "I missed him." "Whom?" Umi looked at Kioku. "Oh, no one. I'm in hurry, bye." She left to the store. Yoake walked to her brother. "You called?" "I sensed that powerful energy again. Go after the boy with Iris' power." Yoake nodded and followed Niji's way. Asa stood in front of the Clock Shop's street. Ever since she had seen Nintai, she was convinced she had a special power. Nintai looked at her from inside and the hair of both flew in the wind. "That sensation... That girl..." Nintai felt a pain in her chest. Asa started to cross the street, when Ryuu entered the Shop and stood between them. "Hi, Nin-chan!" He kissed her, and Asa stopped. She ran away, as Nintai tried to follow her with her eyes. Asa stopped by the end of the street. "That moon power... It surrounded her protectively. What it means?" Niji was stopped by a girl. "Sorry," said the girl, Yoake. "Don't worry." He seemed to continue his way. "Your hair is beautiful." He looked at her raising an eyebrow. "It's so bright." He blushed. "Thanks, I guess." "I'm sorry. I was just seeing you, and then you talked to me. Want to have a coffee with me? Please, I'm new in town, and I know nobody." Niji smiled. "Alright." Asa Akuno walked inside a black mansion. In the living room, al black, was Kioku reading newspaper. "Brother? Did you detected new energies?" "One. Iris' son is here, sister. I already sent 'Yoake' to get close to him." Asa fell in the sofa. "She's around Universe's son too." "She is that way. What have you been doing?" Asa smiled. "I'm trying to locate that blonde boy I kissed. He had powers too, I sensed them." She moved her head down. "Though, I found another girl with prediction powers." "That's terrible. Did you destroy her?" "I couldn't. When I was getting to her, a boy's moon energy protected her." Kioku smiled. "Don't worry, he can't be around all the time." Haruka gave one last look to her outfit and started to leave. "Aunt Haruka..." She turned to see Kin-kun. "Hey, I've told you to call me Uncle. I prefer it." She smiled to her only nephew, son of his deceased only brother. He would always be the only allowed to call her whatever he wanted. "I want to talk to you." "Go on..." Kin-kun wasn't sure how to start, so said the first him that occurred to him. "Have you heard about the Starlights?" "They're here, right?" "Did you know they can turn from female to male at wish?" Haruka laughed. "Is it that? I'm not very fond of the Starlight, son, but if you think I want their transformation powers, you are way wrong." Kin-kun smiled. "Just wondering. But that wasn't what I wanted to ask you about. Aunt... Uncle. How should I propose to a girl?" Haruka blushed. "Well, that depends of the girl, I guess." "Someone like Aunt Michiru?" Haruka was red now. "I guess this is about Suiko, so let's not mention Michiru. Are you sure you want to do this?" Kin-kun nodded firmly. "We have been together for so long, we live in the same house... I want Suiko to be my wife." Haruka took his hand. "Alright. Michiru... and Suiko, are both very similar. The sea is their true love." "So he best place to do this." "Is by the sea. I'll suggest, in the sunset, where the sky, your symbol, kisses the water." Kin-kun smiled. Hiouko walked slowly to the garden of the Hikawa Jinja. Suddenly, she had to face the facts that she felt lonely. Before, when she felt like that she wandered through the trees, seeing the wonders of nature. Now, she didn't have that. She could just smell and hear the nature she loved so much. She hadn't close friends... The Senshi kids had to like her for their parents' sake. Umi and Mizumi tried to get closer to her, but she didn't let them. Only Takashi understood her, but now he had his true love: Kirame. She reached the stairs and tripped. Hiouko felt the air in her face as she fell, waiting the hit. But then, some arms caught her. "Thanks," she whispered. "You are welcome," said Ken looking at her intensely. "Hi, Ken." She softly got off his arms. "What a surprise. I have been thinking in you and Mizumi, how was your date?" "Exactly what you told me. Just a way she used to make Akashi jealous." "I'm sorry." Ken looked at her blind eyes, wishing to know why they were starting to enchant him. "You know, I wasn't really hurt. I have been in love with Mizumi so long that I never though there was another way of living. But then, my head was in another girl." He blushed, but Hiouko couldn't see it. "Really? Whom?" She was so innocent, and Ken love that in her. "It's a secret." "Ok." Hiouko moved her head to the sunlight. "It's sunset, right?" "Yes." She smiled. "I know it's too much to ask, but... Could you describe it to me? I've been a bit sad lately and sunsets always cheered me up." Ken made her sit in the stairs. "Sure." He sat at her side and started talking about the clouds. She leaned in his shoulder, and he felt how his face got red. Rei came out, looking for her daughter to get some tea together, but stopped when she saw them. She smiled to herself and returned in. Mitsuki ran to Kage, who had just arrived. "It's almost ready, it going to be the best party ever." Kage touched her short hair that had never grown. The heart-pointed odango only had small tufts, unlike Mitsuki's mother and grandmother. But he liked her that way. She was unique. "I'm glad." "Glad? Be more enthusiastic." Queen Serenity came to them. "Kids, I think..." "Mother," cried Mitsuki taking Kage's arm, "Give us some privacy." Mitsuki took Kage to the balcony and there they started kissing. He suddenly stopped, thinking of his fears. "Mitsuki..." "Yes?" "Could you ever...? Could you ever believe there is evil inside me?" She looked at his eyes full of love. "Never. I know your heart best than anyone." And they kissed again. Suiko left her shoes in the shore and started walking through the sand of the beach. Kin-kun had asked her to come, but hadn't told her why. Her hair started floating with the wind and she felt as it whispered love words to her. Some minutes later, Kin-kun finally arrived, leaving his motorcycle up and jumping to the beach. "You are late. You said 6 o'clock, so you are ten minutes late." He smiled. "I'm sorry. Let's walk." "Ok." The couple started walking hand by hand at the seashore. Kin-kun stopped suddenly, and turned to her. "Have I told you how beautiful you are and how much I love you?" "A million times," she said smiling. "Then, it's a million and one. Suiko Kaiou, my mermaid, would you marry me?" Suiko's eyes sparkled. "Of course!" She hugged and kissed him. Then, three figures came forward, silently. Mitsuki felt a pain in her chest and looked through the balcony, to where she knew was the sea. "What's wrong, Mitsuki?" "When Suiko stopped whatever attacked Hiouko, mother was afraid it will take it against her. So she linked me to her. Now, I feel it. Suiko and Kin-kun are in danger!" They both jumped though the balcony to the sea's direction. "What a lovely scene!" Kin-kun and Suiko turned, surprised. The three Akuno siblings were looking at them. "Who are you?" They clapped their hands and their clothes returned to what they had been when they arrived. 'Yoake' moved her hair. "I'm Eris Discordia, the red sorceress of fire and passion." 'Asa' was next. "I'm Belona Discordia, the yellow priestess of wind and jealously." Ares laughed. "Ares Discordia, the blue sorcerer of water and violence." Kin-kun took Suiko's hand. Suiko took her necklace and her boyfriend his bracelet. "Neptune Galactic Power, Make-Up!" "Uranus Galactic Power, Transform!" Both stood in their duet pose. "You were right, Belona. She was the one who interfered with my fire." Suiko looked at them. "You are the ones who attacked Hiouko... Ocean Marineblau Tide!" "Destroyer Vergoldet Tornado!" Both attacks reached Belona and Eris respectively. "You two," roared Ares. "Stop!" Two new figures had appeared in the sand. "I'm the defender of the Royal Moon, the successor of the Millennium, a Senshi of love and justice... I'm Sailor Star Moon!" "And I' the destruction God, the Senshi of death and life, Crystal Saturn Kamen!" The Discordia girls looked at them laughing. "They all come in pairs, how convenient..." Ares stumped his feet. "We don't have time for you." A wave came from the sea and pushed Mitsuki and Kage away. Ares looked at the outer duo. "Discordia Water Cover!" Waves came from Suiko's and Kin-kun's feet. They were covered by the black water, and disappeared. Mitsuki raised her face. "Suiko! Kin-kun!" Nintai turned around. "Ryuu, my teammates..." Hiouko stood up. Ken looked at her, preoccupied. "What's wrong?" "Ken, the Outers..." Ares and Belona disappeared laughing. Eris walked toward Kage. "Dear, I just wanted to say goodbye..." Her eyes looked strangely at Kage and she smiled. "That darkness..." Kage whitened. "It's really strong... and you keep it locked up... Well, bye!" She disappeared. Kage looked at a crying Mitsuki. "We couldn't save them... Suiko and Kin-kun are trapped!" To be continued... Notes: - Young people in Crystal Tokyo have sevveral options to study: The Hana Academy and The Zuishou High School are both private.
