Nintai, my one-and-a-half year-old sister always hears the story of how Setsuna felt in love with my dad. Every Sailor Senshi has a family and a love...but me. I was the last Sailor Senshi of this planet to awake. Also, I' the most destructive of all. I had a very weak health when I was young, but am the one with the most powerful attacks. I'm weird, I know it. Maybe that's why no boy gets near me. I'm the Senshi of the Creation and Destruction, Sailor Saturn. But no one sees I'm suffering. I'm the little one of the group, except for Usagi. (Super Sailor Moon / Neo-Princess Serenity / Chibi-Usa) But she's in love too... I'll never have love, that's my destiny... "What are you writing about, Hotaru?" asked Setsuna-mama, seeing my diary. "Some useless things..." She smiled. "I'll go out with Souichi for dinner, tonight, could you baby-sit Nintai?" "Sure..." She turned and left me giving a smile. She's nice. If I should had have to choose a wife for dad, I would have chosen her. I have also two adoptive parents, Haruka-papa and Michiru-mama. Believe it or not Haruka-papa is female. I don't have to tell you why I call her like I do... In ten days is my birthday. They surely will come home. Setsuna and I moved away from the crystal palace when she married dad. Though, we are still near it. Ami and Minako did the same with their families. Ami has a little baby girl, and Minako's boy is just one-year old. Rei, just pregnant, still lives with her husband in the palace. So does Mako, with her six months baby boy. As you can see, all have families to take care of... I'm almost 17. I wish I had more people of my age near me. But they won't come near the palace. I used to hang out with Usa, but now she receives dream messages from Helios, and passes time daydreaming in him. What would I give to have a boyfriend as Helios! Well, I'll like any boyfriend... ********************************************************************************** December 29th, 2914 I can't think of anything, but yesterday's night. I was alone at home. Well, Nintai was with me. I was reading some stuff Minako had asked me about. Suddenly, I heard something and went out with Nintai in my arms. The front house was in fire. "My god, Nin-chan, what's going on?" A boy came near us. "Can I hide here for a while? I didn't intend to start the fire... but a cigarette of mine..." "Ok." I know I shouldn't have done that. But he was SO cute! "Come in..." The Silver Firemen came a little after. They made fire disappear. I was afraid. Nintai played with the guy. I looked at him. He smiled, and I blushed. A fireman came to my house. He was handsome to... but somehow, different from the boy... Like opposites. "Sorry, miss, did a boy ran in front of your house?" "Yes... He left long ago..." "That's bad... Well, thanks, miss." As he left I saw his name in his uniform. Kenshin Shiouno*. He turned at me, and smiled. "Bye, Miss Tomoe." I blushed. He knew I was Sailor Saturn, if he knew my name. When he had left, the guy came out. "Thanks..." "Will I see you again?" How could I say that!!! "Sure. I'm Doku Akai* of the Black Skulls. Bye!" He smiled and left. I stared at him, enchanted. "Nice boy, Hotaru..." I turned. "He is really nice, so if you want to see him again, Nin-chan, don't mention he was here... Not even to mom or dad..." She nodded, smiling with innocence. She hugged me. I was only thinking of Doku. ********************************************************************************** January 2nd, 2915 I didn't expect this, but today I saw Captain Shiouno again. I was shopping with Setsuna mama, when I hit him accidentally. "Excuse me..." As I saw his face, he smiled. "Miss Tomoe..." "Captain Shiouno... I mean..." I blushed. "I saw your name in your uniform..." Setsuna-mama came to us. "Do you know him, Hotaru?" "Yes, he is the captain of the firemen that extinguished the fire at the front house... Kenshin Shiouno." "Hello. Mrs. Tomoe." "You know me?" "I have seen your faces, madam. Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn are, I believe, the most powerful Senshi." "Really..." said Setsuna-mama smiling. "I once went with dad to the palace and I saw you both..." "You are Mr. Shinichi Shiouno's son..." "Yes." "Your dad and Ryo Gingekko were the ones who founded the firemen department in Crystal Tokyo." "That's my father." I stared at him shyly. Suddenly, he was more interesting than I thought... *********************************************************************************** January 7th, 2915 I'm a little ashamed and confused... Yesterday was my birthday, I'm 17 now. Haruka-papa and Michiru-mama came to see me. They brought me a nice Chinese lamp. Setsuna-mama and dad gave me a Persian one. They know what I like, eh? Suddenly, the house next door burst in fire. "What happened?" asked Setsuna-mama. Haruka-papa looked at Michiru-mama. "Neptune Crystal Power, Make-up!" She run transformed to the house. "Deep Submerge!" Her water attacked the fire, till Kenshin arrived with his men. I was looking at him when I heard someone calling me. "Doku!" "Hi again! Want to come to see some friends...?" He was out the window. "I can't, it's my birthday..." "Come on. We'll celebrate with my friends." "...Ok. I'll go." I went out through the window, and we both went away. We entered a narrow path. There were two guys and two girls. "Doku!" said one of the guys shaking hands. "Who's the chic?" asked the other. I blushed; no one had ever referred to me as 'chic'. "Give your name..." he told me. "I'm Hotaru..." "Firefly!" said one of the girls laughing. "Hotaru Meiou." That means Death Ruler Firefly, it's actually Setsuna-mama's single last name, but I wanted to impress. "Cool..." said the other girl. "I'm Skully [it's not the X-files Scully]", said the blonde girl. "Bonnie." called the redhead. "We are Death and Destruction..." said the one who had first talked. "Hi" "Their names seem American, but we also have Japanese ones. These are just our artistic names." "Oh... and yours?" "Poison. Choose yours." "I'm...Darky." "Welcome, Darky." I reached home at 3'clock. We had gone to a club. Setsuna-mama was really mad at me, but as I had never caused problem before, she forgave me. *********************************************************************************** January 11th, 2915 Surprise! Guess what, I have received red roses! Kenshin send them to me because Setsuna-mama told him my birthday had been a week ago. He was really nice... but I like Doku more. He has introduced me in a brand new world and I like it. *********************************************************************************** January 14th, 2915 All this weekend I have went to see the Black Skulls. We hang out together, talk and go to clubs. I don't get why they have such strange names... They are really nice. *********************************************************************************** January 18th, 2915 I don't know what I'm going to do... I met Kenshin today again. He asked me to go with him to the movies. I agreed. As the movie went on, I saw his face. He was older than Doku, but still very handsome. I blushed as he turned to me. "Want me to bring you something?" "No, sorry... Let's continue watching the movie." He smiled, and turned. After this, we went to drink tea. "So, how's the life of the Destructive Senshi?" I shaded off. "It's difficult..." "I'm sorry, I didn't know it made you sad to speak about it..." "Don't worry." "Though, I think you are fascinating. I learnt in school about your story, Mistress 9, Neherenia and Galaxia. Bad girls, eh?" He made a face. I smiled. "At least I stole a smile from you..." "Kenshin, I mean, may I tell you Kenshin?" "If I can call you Hotaru." I blushed. "Sure... Kenshin, you seem to know a lot about me, but I don't know anything about you..." "Ok, you know I'm Shinichi Shiouno's only son." "You know I'm Dr. Souichi Tomoe's eldest daughter." "Right. I'm a captain of firemen. I married at the age of 19..." "You are married?" "No. Wait. My wife, Miten, got pregnant two months after. Then, by the due date, there was a complication..." "Complication?" "Something was wrong with the baby... They both died...." I felt terribly bad. "I'm sorry." "Don't worry, it was two years ago." "It must be hard." "At the beginning... Now I know two angels are looking after me..." I smiled. When he left me, I promised to repeat the date... Yesterday Doku took me out and with the guys we got near a house, in my neighbourhood. "We must start the fire..." said Bonnie. "What?" I asked. "Darky, dear..." said Doku, "The Great Madam has asked us to set fire to the entire block... We have tried, but have been stopped..." "The Great Madam? Who is she? You started those fires?" "Dear, if you don't want to participate, just sit here and watch that nobody is near..." They left me in their car. I felt dizzy. They returned when a fire was seen in the distance. The car went away, as I heard the sound of Kenshin's men's car. ********************************************************************************** January 22nd, 2915 Ok, now I am in trouble. Was it Minako the one who said once that you could love two guys at the same time? I have to ask her... Well, I went out with Kenshin again. And we had a nice time. We dinner and saw a movie. I felt as I was floating in heaven. When I'm with him everything is full of magic. He kissed me when we said goodbye. In other hand, Doku has introduced me with his friends, and I'm part of the gang. I feel great with them, even when I don't approve what they do... I'm so confused. ********************************************************************************** January 28th, 2915 I found a note in the door in the morning. It was from Doku. In a week he is going to take me to see the Great Madam. He says I have proved loyalty... Who is that Great Madam? ********************************************************************************** February 4th, 2915 I'm in the way of Great Madam's house. I feel so dirty... Doku knocked the door and Setsuna-mama opened. I ran to him. "It's for me, Setsuna-mama. Bye." We both went out. "But Hotaru..." We entered his car. (Did I mention it's red, shiny, new, roofless...?) As we were going, with the rest of the gang, we suddenly stopped. They looked at an aquamarine-haired woman. She was Michiru-mama. Haruka-papa was coming to her. "Those girlfriends..." Haruka-papa hugged her from her back. "Can't you find guys, so you must play with women?" shouted Doku. They both stared at us. "Hotaru..." mumbled Michiru-mama. "Mama... papa..." I looked down. As I turned to the other side, I saw Kenshin looking at me. Doku kissed me, and Kenshin's face shadowed... Oh, we have reached a black castle... We are leaving the car. ********************************************************************************* February 7th, 2915 How on Earth I was such a fool... I must start from the beginning... We all entered the black castle. In the middle of the room was a throne, where a black dressed lady was sitting. "Great Madam, we have brought you a new servant..." The curly and black-haired lady approached to us. "What's your name?" "I'm Darky... but I'm leaving..." I was afraid of her. She came nearer. I turned, trying to run, but Destruction and Death grabbed my arms. "who are you...?" "I'm Tellus,* goddess of earth and soil. I absorb souls, like yours... These five youths made me awake..." I looked at everyone's eyes. They were empty now. "No soul?" "Yeah, soon you'll join them..." My sign was shown in my forehead, as she touched my head. "This power..." "Stop!" I turned and saw Kenshin. "Kenshin!" I shouted. "I followed you, Hotaru, I care about you, you know..." He took out a gun and fired to Tellus. Doku and the others ran to help her. I ran to Kenshin and hugged him. Tellus flew laughing. "A bullet can't defeat me!" I stood up. "Maybe Sailor Senshi Power can... Saturn Crystal Power, Make-up!*" I turned into Super Sailor Saturn. "A Sailor Senshi... That's the power I felt..." I raised my glaive. "Saturn Glaive Shot!*" As the attack flew, I lost consciousness. Setsuna-mama told me Tellus was killed. The Black Skulls' corpses disappeared. Kenshin called them to pick me up. I just wake-up today. I'm lucky, that attack may have killed me... But it would have been better, as I now know I love Kenshin, but he hasn't called or come to see me... ************************************************************************************************ I have given up my diary. I have found love, impossible, but love still. I'm by the sea by night, the 14th of February. Valentine's day. I have chocolate in my hands*. If I knew where Kenshin lives, I would have sent it. Souichi-papa and Setsuna-mama are near here, even when I can't see them right now... They are still in love, but I guess Nintai won't leave them alone. Haruka-papa and Michiru-mama came here also, but also got lost of me. They have forgiven me already. Suddenly, someone touched my shoulder. I found myself in front of Kenshin's face. "Kenshin..." "Hi, may I taste that chocolate?" I blushed. He ate a bit. "I thought you didn't want to see me..." "I believed you loved that Doku..." "No... he was just an illusion, a love that wasn't real but I wanted to believe in it... I... I love you, Kenshin. This week has been the worst of my whole life, because I hadn't you. You are nice, and brave, and handsome, so caring and..." He kissed me deeply. "Kenshin." "When I first saw you, I saw a little resemblance to Miten...but as I got to know you, I saw you were different. So special..." I started to cry of joy. "Hotaru, why are you crying?" "I finally have a love story..." "And I can give it a happier end... Hotaru Tomoe, want you to become Mrs. Shiouno?" I noticed my two pairs of parents were staring at me, with Nintai at their sides. "Yes..." We kissed again... That's the end of my very own love story... My wish came true... The End ^_^ We went to live to a palace in one of the borders of Crystal Tokyo, and there I gave him what he had lost once... A baby boy we called Kage. He is the happiest end I could ever wish of...
