Shampoo, in an attempt to please Ranma, cooks P-chan for Ranma's lunch! Luckily, Ryouga wasn't dead, but Akane wasn't pleased at all. She challenges Shampoo to a fight, and pushes Ranma out of a window when he tried to stop her. Ranma finds her unconsious on the floor, but when she wakes up, he finds that she cannot remember who he is at all!
He finds out Shampoo used a special "110" shampoo on Akane, she cannot remember a thing about Ranma, so he has to find a "119" shampoo for her to regain her memory. But scolding her "uncute" was all it took for her to remember him! After lying to Shampoo that he was just a girl in disguise, the devastated Shampoo returns to China.
Gosunki is a weird guy obsessed with Akane and voodoo. Kuno orders him to help him find Ranma's weak point, but throwing snakes, toads and other creepy crawlies on him dosen't seem to have any effect on Ranma at all. Then, they hear Ranma's terrified yell...what is Ranma afraid of? They find out that due to practicing "Cat Fist" at a very young age, Ranma soon got a phobia of cats. Gosunki and Kuno try to trap him with a whole lot of cats and a tiger, but to counter his fear of cats, he starts imagining himself to be a cat, and uses his powerful "Cat Fist" to get rid of all the cats and the tiger.Akane hurriedly gets Genma, who then disguises himself as an old lady to try and tame Ranma, but fails. Akane shoots some cat food at Ranma, and Ranma immediately cuddles up to Akane...and kisses her! The embarrassed Akane then throws him into the swimming pool...
Shampoo is back...but with another cursed form of a cat! And with her, is her very capable grandmother, Cologne. She has opened a ramen restaurant, Neohatten, where Shampoo works as a waitress, and she is sure of making Ranma marry Shampoo this time...by hook or by crook. Cologne makes hits Ranma's "cat-tongue" accupuncture, so that he can't stand hot water. Then Shampoo's childhood playmate, Mousse, a near-sighted long-haired guy with a major crush on Shampoo challenges Ranma to a match. Can Ranma beat Mousse in his girl form?
