Happousai finds a bangle with "love stones" on them. Having swallowed one, the person would fall in love with the first person of the opposite sex he or she saw for a moment, day or a lifetime, depending on which stone was swallowed. Akane accidentally swallows the "lifetime love stone", but luckily spits it out before she sees anyone.
Mousse is back from China with a vengence...in the form of a duck. He is intent on defeating Ranma...and he doesn't want to be the only one cursed with the duck form. He kidnaps Akane and threatens to pour some of the water from Yanichuan as part of a magic show in a circus. Desperately trying to prevent the water from spraying on the audience, Ranma accidentally directs the water towards Akane, and upon rushing towards her, finds a duck next to her sandles. We soon find out that Akane didn't turn into a duck, and Ranma makes a fool of himself.
Mousse challenges Ranma to a match, and his determination touches Shampoo. She takes him back to the Nekohatten...but only so she can play with him.
