EPISODE ONE: ANGEL ATTACK

Shinji Ikari arrives at NERV just as the third Angel attacks. After his hopes for a reconciliation with his father are dashed, Shinji's father tells him that he only needs the boy to pilot EVA 1. At first the young boy refuses, but enters the robot after he discovers that his father is going to send the injured Rei into the unit one. He then is catapulted up to face the invader.

EPISODE TWO: AN UNKNOWN CEILING (THE BEAST)

Shinji wakes up to find himself in a hospital bed, with no memory of the battle. Misato becomes his guardian when it appears his father wants little to do with him. Little does the young man relize that his new guardian is a slob who lives with a penguin, and drinks way to much.

Once Shinji relaxes, the memories of the fight come crashing back.

EPISODE THREE: A PHONE THAT NEVER RINGS (A TRANSFER)

Like a robot, Shinji does as he is told. Too afraid to open his heart, he can not make friends at school. Shinji meets Touji, who blames the young EVA pilot for his sister getting hurt.

During an attack, Touji and his friend Kensuke, go to see the EVA and the angel fight. The two boys wind up in the middle of two battles, The fight against the Angel, and Shinji's emotional battle as well.

EPISODE FOUR: RAIN AFTER HE RUNS AWAY (HEDGEHOG'S DILEMMA)

Shinji, fed up with the fighting, and the loneliness, decides to leave NERV. After wandering around for two days, he is taken by NERV security. Upon his release, he tells an angry Misato that he will not pilot EVA. He is ordered to leave. Can the friendship offered by Touji and Kensuke help to change his mind?

EPISODE FIVE: REI, BEYOND HER HEART (REI I)

Shinji meets Rei Ayanami, another EVA pilot, who always seems to be alone. She also seems to be the apple of Gendo's eye, due to the way he responds to her.

The more Shinji finds out about her, the bigger the mystery. She has no past, no friends, and she seems to have no personality at all.

An attack by the Fifth angel puts the two together. Before Shinji can attack, the angel fires a beam that strikes his EVA!

EPISODE SIX: FINIAL BATTLE IN TOKYO 3(REI II)

Shinji wakes up again to find himself in a hospital bed. While he recovers, Misato comes up with a plan to use a long range cannon to sniper the fifth angle. To execute this plan, she will equip Rei with the heat shield for a space shuttle, a recovered Shinji with the particle cannon, and use of the entire power grid for Japan to power it.

EPISODE SEVEN: A HUMAN WORK

The Jet Away, is a nuclear powered anti-angel fighter. It is similar in design to the EVA's, yet runs under its own power.

Reluctantly forced to attend the test run, Misato is amused as the experiment go awry, and it's up to Shinji in EVA one to stop the Jet Away before its nuclear core explodes.

EPISODE EIGHT: ASUKA COMES TO JAPAN (ASUKA STRIKES!)

On an air craft carrier in the Pacific Ocean, Shinji, Kensuke, and Touji meet Soryu Asuka Langley, pilot of EVA 2. She is brash, arrogant, yet self conscious. Her escort is Kaji Ryoji, an officer from NERV 3 in Germany. An old boyfriend of Misato's, their reunion is not very civil.

The reunion is cut short when the sixth angel tries to prevent the EVA 2 from reaching Japan. Shinji must board the EVA 2 with Asuka, and the two of them work as a team, more or less.

Kaji arrives at NERV HQ with a gift for Gendo.

EPISODE NINE: A MOMENTARY MIXING OF MINDS (BOTH OF YOU DANCE LIKE YOU WANT TO WIN)

Asuka causes quite a stir due to her half German/ half Japanese heritage at school. However, her attempts to befriend Rei are met with cold responses.

After her defeat at the hands of the latest Angel, she and Shinji are forced to fight together in a very unorthodox plan hatched by Misato.

Can two people, who are totally different ends of the emotional spectrum work together?

EPISODE TEN: MAGMADIVER

An unborn Angel is located in the heart of a volcano. NERV feels this is a perfect opportunity to capture and study. Seele would rather destroy the angel. NERV proceedes, and sends Asuka into the volcano.

The attempt goes wrong, and Asuka is pulled deeper into the volcano. Can anyone save her in time?

EPISODE ELEVEN: In The Still Darkness(The Day Tokyo-3 Stood Still)

Anti-NERV forces cut the power supply to Tokyo-3. An Angel attacks, and they are defenseless. It's Shinji, Rei, and Asuka to the rescue.

EPISODE TWELVE:THE WORTH OF A MIRACLE(SHE SAID"DON'T MAKE OTHERS SUFFER FOR YOUR PERSONAL HATRED)

Misato is the only survivor of the Second Impact. She lost her father in the explosion. Now she has received a promotion to Major.

In the midst of an attack by an Angel, her personal hatred for the Angels comes fourth, and it threatens the very lives of Shinji, Asuka, and Rei.

EPISODE THIRTEEN: ANGEL INVASION (LILLIPUTIAN HITCHER)

During some special tests, an Angel of a different sort invades. It gives a whole new meaning to "computer virus".

EPISODE FOURTEEN: SEELE, THRONE OF SOULS (WEAVING A STORY)

Seele wants an accounting of past events, and questions Gendo about the Angel from episode thirteen.

EPISODE FIFTEEN: LIE AND SILENCE(THOSE WOMEN LONGED FOR THE TOUCH OF OTHERS' LIPS AND THUS INVITED THEIR KISSES)

During some rare down time, Misato goes to a friends wedding with Rouji and Ritsuko. Old desires and feelings come to light, and Misato discovers more about NERV than she knew.

EPISODE SIXTEEN:DISEASED TO DIE (SPLITTING OF THE BREAST)

Shinji is informed that his ability to syncro with EVA unit one is the highest of all the children. This boosts his confidence, and he takes charge of the latest Angel attack. Unfortunately, he rushes into an attack, and becomes trapped inside the Angel.

EPISODE SEVENTEEN:THE FOURTH QUALIFIED CHILDREN (FORTH CHILDREN)

The second NERV branch in America disappears after an attempt to install an S3 engine. This event pushes forth the selection of the fourth children, and the chosen one is.........

EPISODE EIGHTEEN:SELECTIVE RECREATION OF LIFE (AMBIVALENCE)

The booting test for EVA unit three proceeds as planned until it is discovered that it has become an Angel. Shinji is unaware that the pilot is Touji.

When he is ordered to destroy EVA unit three, Shinji (knowing that there is a teenage person in the entry plug)refuses. Gendo overrides his control, and uses EVA unit one to destroy unit three.

EPISODE NINETEEN:A MAN'S FIGHT(INTROJECTION)

This time, Shinji quits for good. As he leaves Tokyo-3, an Angel attacks. They attempt to send Rei in unit one, it fails. Asuka is defeated, and the unit one refuses a dummy plug. Shinji returns to fight one more time.

EPISODE TWENTY: MAN'S FORM, MINDS FORM(WEAVING A STORY 2: ORAL STAGE)

The unit one has eaten the angel from episode 19 and absorbed Shinji into itself. While Shinji's mind explores many different planes of existence, the NERV staff is trying to return Shinji to coperal form.

EPISODE TWENTY ONE:THE BIRTH OF NERV (HE WAS AWARE THAT HE WAS STILL A CHILD)

Futuysuki(Gendo's right hand man) is kidnapped and interrogated by Seele. He recalls the events that led up to his first meeting with Gendo, and the creation of NERV.

Rouji is also discovered to be a spy, and is killed.

EPISODE TWENTY TWO:AT LEAST, BE HUMANE (DON'T BE)

Asuka's syncro rate is decreasing due to the resurgence of the memory of her mothers suicide. She is given one last chance to prove herself, and she is easily defeated by the most powerful angel ever.

EPISODE TWENTY THREE:TEARS (REI III)

Rei sacrifices herself when her EVA is invaded by the next to last angel. Misato also discovers the truth about Rei, and Rouji's death.

EPISODE TWENTY FOUR:THE FINIAL MESSENGER (THE BEGINNING AND THE END, OR "KNOCKIN' ONHEAVEN'S DOOR")

Shinji makes his first true friend in Kaoru, a boy who seems to have a close attachment to Seele. The stage is set for the final and decisive battle that will decide the fate of humanity.

EPISODE TWENTY FIVE:THE WORLD ENDING(DO YOU LOVE ME?)

EPISODE TWENTY SIX:THE BEAST THAT SHOUTED "I" IN THE HEART OF THE WORLD(TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF)

It was 2016 A.D.
The thing that people lost,
in other words, the complementation of the mind has begun.
However, there is not enough time to describe the entire process.
Therefore, we will examine the complementation of the mind of
a single boy named Ikari Shinji.
