As days go on
And nights go by
I do not speak
I do not cry

My spirit screams
My spirit dies
No one will come
to heed my cries!

They sit and watch
they sit and stare
Why oh why is
life so unfair!

Not one protest
not even a tear
Things are better
when I'm not here..

and count to ten
