Legend of the Excaliber - Chapter 7: Blazing Inferno There was a knock at the door of the Tsukino house, and Mrs. Tsukino was the only one home. Mr. Tsukino went to work, Serena, Rini, and Rachel went to Ray’s, and Sammy was at Mika’s. When She opened the door, she was greeted by four people she never saw before. One was short blond haired boy, one was Sammy’s age with short black hair, the third looked familiar, but couldn’t place where, for she had long, dark, green hair and the strangest pair of red eyes, and the fourth had aqua marine haired. Before Mrs. Tsukino could ask, the green haired lady asked, "Mrs. Tsukino, is Serena here?" "No, she went with Rachel and Rini to Ray’s. Do I know you from somewhere? You look familiar," Mrs. Tsukino said. Setsuna said, "That’s probably because the last time you saw me, I was in scout form." It Clicked into Mrs. Tsukino, "Sailor Pluto, and you three must be the other Outer Scouts Serena keeps talking about. Please come in." The four agreed and talked with Mrs. Tsukino for several hours. In the Negaverse, General Viper was getting grilled from Onix, "Viper, I did not like being awakened in the middle of the night, last night, to find out you and Ironite attacked at different times, and, as a result, the Outer Sailor Brats, did some beating up on Ironite when he checked up on a place he thought held the sword." Viper grumbled something about Moon brats. Onix continued, "From now on, I expect better results from both of you," he said as General Ironite came into the room, "Is that clear?" They both nodded and the king dismissed them. After they left the room, Viper and Ironite, reluctantly decided to make a better effort to work together. At the Cherry hill temple, three girls, one of which was 23, stepped on the last step before walking onto the temple grounds, and Rachel huffed, "Now I understand why you think going up these stairs is a work out, Serena." Serena sent her sister a sympathetic look before he spotted Chad, "Hay Chad, you seen Ray today?" "Sorry Serena, You, like, just missed her and Grandpa. They went on a spiritual quest in the Mountains at the spur of the moment. They won’t be back till, like, tomorrow morning, so I’m watching the temple while they’re gone." "Thanks Chad," Serena said as they went back down the stairs. Serena pulled out her communicator and pressed the all call button. Everyone, including Ray, showed up on the little screen and Serena said, "Ray, I’ll talk to you in a sec., Everyone else, meet me at the arcade." All the girls but Ray signed off and Serena said, "Ray, your not going to believe this, but I also had a sister during the Silver Millennium." "How many siblings did you have anyway Meatball head," Rachel had to stifle a giggle at Ray’s remark "Well looks like two at the moment, but I’ll check with ‘SAILOR SELENE’ to find out the exact number," Was Serena’s reply. "Serena, you Meatball Head, you know she can’t be trusted." Rachel took Serena’s communicator and stared at Ray’s image right in the face, "For your information, Ray, I can be trusted, thank you very much, and so can my husband Venus Knight." Ray could only look in shock, cause she didn’t expect Selene to be next to Serena, but recovered her Martian temper, "And just who are you?" "I happen to be Princess Rachel of the Moon kingdom, older sister of Serena. Got a problem with that Mars," Rachel asked angrily. Ray just shook her head no in fright and signed off. Rachel handed the communicator back to a giggling Serena, "I never thought someone could get the better of Ray in a temper tantrum." Rachel Agreed and joined in on the laughing. Even Rini joined in, "Don’t worry, It won’t be the only time Serena." This sent all three into a laughing fit before they started for the arcade. Mina just finished getting dressed and opened the door to go to the arcade, only to get a fist on her nose, "Opps, sorry. Didn’t mean to hit you. I was about to knock on the door when you opened it, Mina." Mina looked up to see the same guy from the other day with a smile on his face, "Uh, think nothing of it. Who are you anyway? Am I allowed to know now?" Just then, Artemis appeared at Mina’s feet and saw Mark, "So it was you the girls saw the other day, Prince Mark." Mark looked down to see a smiling white cat down at Mina’s feet, "Well it’s nice to see you again Artemis. Still trying to catch Luna’s interest?" This got a white cat with a rose colored face. "Artemis, who is this? You know him," Mina asked. "Mina you might want to sit down for this. The last think I need is a fainted girl making a loud thunk," was Artemis’s reply. Mina sat on the steps, "Make it quick, cause Serena asked me and the others to meet her at the arcade." "I thought we were to meet at the temple, at 4," Mark said. "Apparently, Ray’s on another one of her spiritual quests in the mountains again or something, and Lita just told us a cooking party will be at the park later today. Can we get to business," Mina stated. "Alright Mina just calm down. This is Prince Mark from Venus. Your older brother," Artemis said just before he heard a noise. He and Mark looked to see a fainted Mina, "Do I know Mina or what?" Mark agreed with a chuckle and picked up Mina to carry her to the arcade, with Artemis behind him. At the arcade, Serena, Rachel, and Rini were the first to arrive, when Andrew walked up, "Hay I didn’t know you knew Rachel, Serena." Rachel just said, "Andrew, dear boss," this got a shock from Rini and Serena, that Rachel worked at the arcade, "Remember when I told you about my long lost family?" At Andrew’s nod, Rachel took Serena in a hug, "Say hi to my younger sister." ‘THUNK’ Rachel, Rini, and Serena looked down on the floor to a fainted Andrew, and Serena said, "Is it me or have a lot of people been doing that lately?" Rachel and Rini agreed. Andrew came to and dazzily went back to work as Amy, and Lita walked in, followed by Luna. After everyone was seated, Lita asked, "Serena who’s this?" "Sorry, I’m not spilling till Mina gets here," Serena said just as Mina and Mark walked in the door. They sat down and Lita asked, "Ok, now will you tell us who BOTH these people are?" "Bras yourselves you guys. I already gave Ray the basics of this conversation, since she’s out of town. This lady here is Princess Rachel of the Moon, my older sister, and Prince Mark of Venus, Mina’s older brother, and Rachel’s husband, a.k.a. Sailor Selene and Venus Knight." This got three sets of eyes popped out of their sockets, from Mina only because she didn’t know Rachel, but not the other half of the news. Serena and Rachel recounted the events of last night, and the Scouts informed Serena of the Outer’s fight last night. Eventually, the Outers showed up, and they were updated on Mark and Rachel, but no new course of action was planned for the Negaverse due to lack of info. When the meeting switched to personal, Lita said, "Your all coming to the cook off my cooking class is having right. This is the second week of my class and we’re having our first cook off. I’m told the press will be at this event also." Everyone agreed and after ferther gossip, the meeting was dismissed. Just as Amy, Mina, Lita, Luna and Artemis walked out of the arcade, Darien walked in, "Hay Serena." Darien gave Serena a lllloooonnnngggg passionate kiss, and gave Rini a kiss on her cute little cheek, "Hay, Rini. How are you two doing, and who are these two?" Serena gave him a brief summery of last night and he was a little shocked at the news of Serena’s ‘extension of the family.’ Darien then said, "Well, I’d love to chat but I’m expecting Molly, and my mother to show up to spend the day with them. Oh, Serena, you interested in a consort that’s playing in a couple of days?" At Serena’s very fast nod yes, Darien gave her a ticket to the consort, "I’ll pick you up around 7:00, provided your Mother, and Dad say yes." Darien took off before Serena could ask who’s playing, and looked at the ticket, which read ‘The Backstreet Boys.’ In the Negaverse, Viper and Ironite were discussing tactics, and Ironite said, "No, no. Maverick tried that, and look what it got him. I hear there’s a cooking party going on in Tokyo park late this afternoon. Go get your energy there." Viper smiled, "For once I agree with you. I got just the Youma for the job." He called his youma and one that was red skinned, with an apron, and a chef’s hat on its head walked out of the shadows, "Go to the cook off, and produce food that steal people’s energy after they eat it." The youma nodded and left. Once he was gone, Viper said, "Be on your guard for the Outers. They tend to show up where the big action isn’t for some reason." Ironite agreed and the two split to their different directions. The cook off was a hit. Everyone in Lita’s class and other people were showing off their talents at the stove. As usual, Lita’s friends favored her cooking over everyone else’s. They couldn’t explain why, but then again, they didn’t see a need to. The press was also having a field day. They interviewed each of the cooks, and talked to any of the cooks' friends and family. Serena was so engrossed in Lita’s food, she almost missed Molly’s tap on the shoulder. "What’s wrong Molly? And where is Darien?" "Darien's with my mother right now, but, Serena, I think we better investigate that cook over there," Molly said pointing to one skinny, tall cook making hamburgers, "I’m getting strange, as Ray would put it, vibes from him. He’s from the Negaverse." Serena was about to try to calm Molly down when she saw one person, who got one of the mysterious cook’s hamburgers, take a bite of his burger, and collapse to the ground, "YIKES!! Your right Molly. Since you and I are the only ones near this area of the cook off, it’s up to us." Serena and Molly went behind a booth, contacted the other scouts and transformed. "MOON COSMIC POWER." "EARTH STAR POWER." The two completed their transformation, and confronted the cook, "Hold it Nega trash. I’m Sailor Moon, Champion of Justice, and I say, on behalf of the Moon. I’ll punish you." The cook began to laugh and shed it’s disguise. The tall, skinny, human cook now looked like a short, red skinned, very not human, youma, "You sailor brats are toast. BARBECUE!!!" With that, he sent flames at Sailor Moon and Earth. Both dodged by the seat of their pants. At this point, the crowd ran in terror. "EARTH TECTONIC QUAKE." Molly sent her attack to ripple the ground toward him, but when the attack got to him it just stopped and the ground leveled out, "WHAT?" Molly was mad. "TORNADO STORM BLAST." "BARBECUE." Molly’s sideways tornado hit the youma’s attack, and both went at her. Sailor Earth dodged, and watched as the attack destroyed a huge rock with a big explosion. Just then the other inner Scouts arrived. "MERCURY ICE STORM SPLASH." "JUPITER THUNDERCLAP ZAP." "VENUS LOVE CHAIN ENCIRCLE." "PINK SUGAR HEART ATTACK." All three attacks went toward the youma, but the youma put up a fire wall and it absorbed all three attacks. Sailor Moon was worried by this point, "Mercury, try to find its weakness." Sailor Mercury complied, and took out her visor and computer to begin scanning. It took several minutes to do this, while the others attacked. Suddenly, four voices rang out. "WORLD SHAKING." "DEEP SUBMERGE.' "DEAD SCREAM." "DEATH RIBBON REVOLUTION." The youma was in pain from two of the attacks, but managed to put up a fire wall for the other two. Amy finally had it, "Guys, we have a problem. That horn on the top of its head gives him his fire powers. The only way to take it out is use fire." Sailor Moon said, "But Sailor Mars is out of town today. Just great." "CRYSTAL SELENE SHIVER." "VENUS SOLAR BLADE SLASH." Both attacks got the youma by surprise but quickly recovered, "Your all pathetic, and BARBECUE." Luckily, his attack missed everyone. Sailor Moon was now getting majorly mad here. She and the other Sscouts here getting tired, and burnt, while the youma was almost unscathed. Before she knew what she was doing, Sailor Moon brought her hands together. "MARS FIRE STAR." Flames erupted from her hands and destroyed the horn attached to the youma’s head before it could do anything. fire was the only attack it couldn’t shield. With that stupid horn gone Sailor Moon took out her Heart Scepter. "MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK." The Youma turned to dust, and Serena looked at her hands after she put the scepter away, "How the heck did I do a Mars attack?" the Scouts, and Tuxedo Mask who was hiding in the near by trees, were equally shocked at this, but didn’t get their answer till they all got to the temple. Once there, Luna began to explain, "Serena, what happened to you today happens to every heir to the throne. When the princess reaches a certain age, in your case 16, they begin to develop powers from each of her royal guards. Most of the time, they don’t end up in the form of an attack. They could be any ability, sensing, magic equipment, or any other power." "You mean I could have some Mercurian computer pop in my hand one of these days? Cool!!!" After a lengthily discussion into this, the scouts adjourned, and went home, and planed another meeting tomorrow, mainly to update Ray. "VIPEEEEEEERRRRR!!!!!" Viper cringed at King Onix’s call to the throne room. When he got there, the King had steam coming out his ears, "Your plan failed Viper. The scouts defeated one of your strongest youma. Next time hold nothing back. I want those Scouts, DEAD!!! Is that clear?" Viper said yes and ran out of the throne room, with Ironite giggling at him from the doorway. In another part of Japan, a couple got home from a long meeting at Kino electronics. They plopped themselves in front of the TV and watched the news. They didn’t pay much attention till the news crew interview one brown, pony tailed Amazon teenager. (on the TV) "Ms. Kino, tell us about your self." "Well, My name is Lita, and I’ve been living here in Tokyo for quite a number of years now." "Yes, we ran into some of your friends earlier and they told us you plan to open a restaurant of your own one day." "Ya, I always find satisfaction in cooking for people. Heck, my friends are always telling me I cook the best food in town in my own apartment." "And how do your folks feel about this?" Lita looks a little sad at first but cheered up, "I believe they’re very proud of me." "Ok, thank you Ms. Kino. In other news........" The man turned off the TV, and stared at his wife, who was thinking the same thing, in excitement, and tears of Joy, The Man went to the phone to call his office, and his secretary answered, "Yes, Mr. Kino?" "Lisa, cancel all mine, and Mrs. Kino’s appointments for the next two weeks, and book a couple of tickets on a train to Tokyo." His secretary said, "Yes, Mr. Kino, I’ll have them sent to you first thing in the morning." Mr. Kino hung up the phone and looked at his wife, "Finally, after years of searching, and years on a deserted island, we finally found our lost daughter." Mrs. Kino agreed happily and the two went to bed. Interesting development. Lita’s parents are alive. How will Lita take this when she finds out? What will Lita do?
