A Change Of Destiny Ch.4 By: Ria TiMia637@aol.com Rated PG Disclaimer* Sailormoon does not belong to me. =) ********************************************************** Cherry Hill Temple, Seven o'clock... "Okay, can somebody please explain to me what the hell is happening," Mina whined. "Mina you are almost as bad as Sere..., hold on I feel another presence," Rei started looking around in her fighting stance. Everyone, respecting her power, followed her lead. A gust of wind blew around them and a voice that seemed to be coming from everywhere spoke out, "I could help somewhat with the explanations." After that announcement a dark portal opened and to everyone's surprise another scout stepped out. "Pretty surprised huh?" Rhea asked amused. "Not really, I would assume you are Sailor Pluto," Amy extending her hand to the newcomer. "Very good Sailor Mercury, I'm impressed. So the outers' have finally met the inners', you all know that this means that something major is about to happen?" Everyone had begun to relax and sit down again, except Rei and Helen (Sailor Uranus). "We figured that out already," Lita answered wryly. Luna, being quiet throughout the whole introductions finally spoke out. "I remember what your position was during the Silver Millennium, you are the guardian of time." "And still is. I would be there right now but it seems my presence is not needed at the time gate right at this moment." "What do you mean? I remember Queen Serenity mentioning that the guardian of time is to never leave her post," Luna asked confused. "Yes but she forgot to tell you that I don't have to be there if time closes itself from me." "What do you mean?" Amy was enjoying all this new information. "What I mean is that I can't see the future or anything else for that matter. The timeline is so unsure that everything is obscure to me." "That means bad right?" Mina asked, looking confused. "Yes damnit. Do we have to spell it out for you?" Rei yelled at her impatiently. "You don't have to yell Rei. It is not my fault that you are frustrated." "If you all calm down I can explain a few things that might help you understand our predicament," Rhea offered. "By all means. We have absolutely no idea what is going on except that their will be an upcoming battle," Marina (Sailor Neptune) replied next to Helen and Heather (Sailor Saturn). 'Oh God, I hope I don't say too much,' thinking to herself. Outloud she gave what information Serena said she could tell them, "Okay here I go; in our reality there are seven different cosmos and within each cosmos their are thousands of galaxies, but we share one reality. Now the nega-verse is our, umm, what you would say our parallel reality. Sorry I'm not very good at this shit, usually Selene does the explaining. Back to the subject at hand, now the nega-verse has tried to take over our reality and make it their own and so far we have succeeded in keeping them from entering our reality completely, but now they have an advantage," Rhea averted her gaze to the sky and prayed that she would get through this alive. Taking a deep breath she continued, "Now you all remember a little of the Silver Millennium and how Queen Serenity sacrificed her life for our survival," when she heard their assent she resumed her explanation, "But what you don't know is that if she had failed our reality would have been lost then and there. Queen Serenity had bought us time, nothing more. Myself, along with many others had thought that the threat was over but we were wrong. We just recently found out that another will defeat the nega-verse. This person is often called the light, the savior, the chosen one, etc." Amy interrupted her before she could continue, "Wouldn't the light be Serena? I mean she was called the messiah of light. Isn't it the same thing." 'Damn, she catches on fast,' Rhea thought quickly and found an escape, "It doesn't mean that it is the Princess. This person is the light for our reality, Princess Serenity is the messiah only for our galaxy. It could be anyone. Now back to what I was saying, the prophesied one will appear when darkness is about to consume us. So far I have only told you the good part, now I'll get to bad part. The cosmos are fixed so that the one we are in is in the center with the other six creating a circle around us. To make everything short we are right smack in the middle. The Silver Millennium was the strongest but once that collapsed the center, the focal point of magick was defenseless against attacks. Do you all understand what I am leading to?" When she encountered blank faces even from Amy she sighed and cursed Sele again for her predicament, "We are the center, the one with the most potential magick, the strongest, and unfortunately the easiest way to take over our reality." Rhea predicted five seconds before they bombarded her with questions. "So what you are telling me is that we are the gateway for them to enter?" Helen asked angrily. Rhea just nodded. "God, what shit. Why do we get stuck with the burden?" "Helen calm down. What I don't understand Pluto is why nobody is helping us?" Marina asked. "Before, it was decided that no one shall intervene with the other galaxies unless something like this is about to happen, then help will come. The problem is that the other six cosmos' are getting as much attacks as we are, maybe even more. The thing is that they could also take the six cosmos' surrounding us to take over our reality, but I think the attacks are to isolate us from help. They can't send help when there is nothing to send." "Oh man, I think it was better when I didn't know," Lita moaned out. "About this prophesied one, when is she or he suppose to arrive?" Mina asked. "I think the outers' dream said she would come to aid you, so I would guess she is already here," Rhea replied. "We thought that was you," Heather replied confused. "The Princess probably didn't know that I would be entering the picture," she answered wryly. "About that, we have the strongest feeling that the Princess is alive. Do you think there is a possibility that she survived but lost her memory?" Darien asked hopefully. "I'm sorry my Prince for your lose. I know you just found each other too. You might be right but then again because of our present predicament your physic link might just be reacting to the different energy vibes." "Do you mean that I could feel several presences' when there is no one," asked an alarmed Rei. "Exactly! Why do you think it took you so long to figure out I was there or the incident with the outers' taking you by surprise? The energy vibes are all screwed so don't rely on them as much." 'Yes, good lie. Sele should be proud.' "I felt another presence when you arrived, is that something to worry about?" Rei asked Rhea stiffened but still pulled off looking indifferent, "No but if it makes you feel better you could check around." Rei concentrated for a while and then shook her head, "I can't pinpoint where the energy is coming from. Too much energy floating around." "You see, that is exactly what I was saying. Now I think we should all call it a night. Too much information in one night can confuse you. Better let it sink in first," hurriedly closing the meeting without giving them the time to ask questions. "You're right but before you go I think you should introduce yourself," Artemis voiced out. "Sorry. I was so into my explanations that I forgot that I was still in my scout uniform," Rhea, or rather Susan powered down and what they saw was a beautiful black haired woman with tints of green and a unique pair of magenta eyes. She was also the tallest out of the scouts and even came close to Darien. "My name is Susan." Luna took over the introductions, "I'll start with the inners', the one next to Artemis is Mina Sailor Venus, Rei Sailor Mars, Amy Sailor Mercury, Lita Sailor Jupiter, Helen Sailor Uranus, Marina Sailor Neptune, and Heather Sailor Saturn." "You really didn't need to introduce yourself. I've known you all for millenias." The group dispersed, with the outers' giving her an invitation for lunch tomorrow and the inners' welcoming her to tomorrow's meeting. Just before Luna left with Mina and Artemis she asked if she could talk privately with her. "What is it Sailor Pluto?" "Please, just Susan. I think there is something you need to see." "Sure, let me just get Artemis." "No. Just you. You are the only one that can help me with this." "Are you sure. Artemis might be a flake but he is very reliable." "I'm sure. Come on, we'll use my mode of transportation." Darien had felt that Sailor Pluto was hiding something about Serena and decided to follow the pair and question her some more but before he could the portal swallowed the two from his vision. Luna stepped out of the portal into a well furnished room. She had been surprised when the solitary soldier had asked for her help. Sailor Pluto has been known to know almost everything and it was a little flattering when she asked for her help. “I really don’t know if I could help you with anything Susan. My memory is quite limited even though it is getting better.” “I don’t need information Luna, we need your help,” Rhea said softly. “Of course I... What do you mean we?” confused know. “She meant the both of us,” a familiar voice from behind her spoke. Luna spun around and what she saw made her faint. “Sele you should have done it gradually. It was too much for her.” “How was I suppose to know that she would react to seeing me that way. I thought Luna is suppose to be stronger than that.” “Yeah well, seeing someone that is suppose to be dead is a different matter.” Luna heard the distant voices and she wondered what happened to her and where the hell she was. Then realization came back and she bolted up and came face to face with his charge. “Serena, my god is it really you?” she just couldn't believe that she was alive. “Yeah it’s me Luna. I guess I should have broken it to you lightly. I’m sorry,” grabbing her and giving her one of her crushing hugs. “My god it is really you. Wait till I tell the others, especially Darien. He’ll be so happy,” Luna was so absorbed with her plans and everyone’s reactions that she didn’t see Serena’s face wash over with sadness. “No one can know Luna,” Serena whispered sadly. “What do you mean no one can know? Do you know how bad it has been since you’ve been gone. The scouts had started to drift further and further apart and the only reason they are actually talking is because of scout business.” “I know Luna but they can’t know I am back. Don’t you think I want to tell them, to laugh and shop and even fight with Raye. Don’t you think I want to throw myself at Darien and never let him go? It is not a matter of choice,” tears had started to fall from her eyes. “Luna the reason why we even told you is because we need your help to keep us informed of what the inners’ are up to. We need to know if they are close to finding out the truth. With both the inners’ and the outers’ thinking the Princess is alive they will eventually find out. But, we are hoping it will be too late.” “I don’t understand why you both can’t tell the others. They can help you fight the upcoming battles.” “They will be helping but I can’t afford them always trying to save my back. In the end it will only be me and I don’t want them giving me a hard time about going alone,” Serena looked away from her friend and guardian’s eyes. “You can’t do it alone Serena.” “I can and I must, it is my destiny. I am the prophesied one.” “We were right!” “Yes you got the right candidate but the wrong reasons. I will tell you what Sailor Pluto left out and then you will understand,” Serena walked over to the couch and made herself comfortable, she knew it would be a long night. (I’m not about to explain it all over again. I’ll probably contradict myself somewhere and confuse all of you, along with myself.*^_^* ) A couple of hours later... “So you are the guardian of the cosmos?” “Yes, among other things. My mother knew I was the prophesied one but I didn’t have my full potential yet. I had to die one more time so I could gain more strength. Mother knew this, she knew that by ending her kingdom she gave the future a chance.” “I didn’t understand half what you told me.” “It’s okay Luna, Sele has explained this to me thousands of time and I still don’t get it,” Rhea said dryly. “One more question. Why do you to call Susan Rhea?” “Because that is her name, it was the name given to her since the beginning of her existence as mine is Selene. Centuries of rebirth has caused my name to change somewhat and for some reason Rhea’s name was lost through the millenias. So since you have no more questions I must know if you are in or not.” “You know I will help, I did promise your mother.” “I know Luna, that is why I asked. Remember no one can know yet.” “When are you planning to tell them?” “If I make it alive through the final battle.” “Are you nuts!? Do you honestly think I can live with that kind of secret all my life? It would tear me apart.” “I’m sorry Luna but I won’t put them through my death a second time. It would be too cruel.” “It is worse if they don’t know their bestfriend was alive and they did absolutely nothing to help.” “They are helping Luna but I can’t let them risk their lives for me this time. They are needed in the future, with or without the Moon Princess.” “I don’t like this Serena.” “It is Selene now Luna and I don’t like it either.” ******************************************************************* Notes* Okay I use Rhea when Selene and Sailor Pluto are not in the presence of the other scouts. It is weird I now but just stay with me okay. Actually, I was going to name her Persephone but I read somewhere that Rhea-Demeter-Persephone is called the Great Triad. It was so much easier to type Rhea than Persephone. I'm lazy, what can I say.
