Disclaimer* Sailormoon does not belong to me.  Okay, that
should cover everything.
Notes* This story follows the timeline of the first few
episodes of Sailormoon but once Beryl was beaten Serena
wasn't transported back with the others.  Also, the scouts
and Darien didn't lose their memories.  They remember
everything and believe Serena died fighting Beryl.

        Darien had become more withdrawn than before he had met
Serena.  Rei had tried to talk to him but he just shut her
out.  Peace was finally achieved but it had cost them the
one person that had filled their own personal void.  Without
her the group had started to fall apart.  Then one night a
comet struck the middle of Tokyo.
        "Hey guys!" Lita ran up to the three girls and two cats
peering over the yellow tape the police put around the
crater.
        "That is one big hole," Mina commented.
        "Do you think this means anything?" Rei asked.
        Luna on Amy's shoulder answered, "I really don't think
so but just in case Amy is scanning it right now.
        "There is a lot of unknown energy around it but it's
not nega energy," Amy replied to the group.
        "I think we should be prepared.  Just in case," Mina
said to the group.
        "I think I will do a fire reading on it and see if I
can get anything," Rei put in.
        "Okay then, meeting tomorrow at the temple," Artemis
replied from Mina's shoulder.
        Lita was looking around when she spotted a familiar
face.
        "Hey Darien over here."
        Darien's gaze followed the sound of his name and saw
four girls and two cats.  He walked slowly towards the
group, wanting to know what was going on.
        "Hi everyone.  So does this have anything to do with
the negaverse?"
        No one could stand to look at the hollowness of his
eyes.  He had looked for his princess for so long and had
fallen for Serena so hard that it hit him real hard when she
was taken away.
        "If you want to join us Darien we are having a scout
meeting tomorrow at Rei's," Mina offered.
        "I'll see," with that he left.
        "Poor guy.  Serena's death really hit him," Lita said
sympathetically.
        "Yeah, he didn't even have the chance to tell her how
he felt," Rei put in sadly.
        "Weren't you two an item Rei?"
        "No, we went out a couple of times but he never seemed
to open up to me.  The only time I saw him showing emotion
was when he was fighting with Serena."
        "So he probably liked her from the beginning," Luna
shaking her head at the thought of Serena's and Darien's
encounters.
        "Yep, they just hid it from each other.  What a stupid
thing to do," Artemis giving his input.
        "Oh shut up Artemis.  I know a couple of hidden
feelings you have kept from somebody," Mina making him
blush.
        "Uh, maybe we should reconvene tomorrow.  It's getting
late," jumping down from Mina and ran.
