The Legend of NaaroYoshi

By NaaroYoshi

9800 years ago, on a lagre planet named Nabur, a Naburian was born to a full blood Naburian and a half yoshian half zylophian blood Naburian citizen. The baby Naburian was special indeed, for his father sensed great power in him. They named the baby Naburian Naaro, or “wind dragon” in human language. The young Naburian grew quickly and was soon 102 years old, which would be about 12 in human years. Then, the Liungan Empire came. They launched countless ground troops and attacked with several capital ships in an attack on Nabur. The Naburians were caught by surprise. Naaro watched a girl he had a crush on get killed by a Liungan Soldier. Naaro nearly attacked the soldier but his father grabbed him and whisked him and his mother away to the Naaro, flying 10 Naburians out of Nabur.
The Naaro took the 10 Naburians to Zyloph where they were given refuge. Their refuge didn’t last very long though. The Liungan Empire attacked and conquered Zyloph as well. Naaro and his father barely escaped on the Naaro which had originally flown them to this planet. The Naaro took them to Yoshio IV where tthe Yoshians took Naaro and his father in and gave them refuge.
Naaro’s father died when Naaro was only 272 years old, still 12 in human years. Naaro’s father told him to study and learn the magics of the Zylophians and Yoshians. He also told Naaro to try and access his Naburian powers. In his dying breath, Naaro’s father handed him the double ghost blades, a weapon that had been passed down through Naaro’s family for centuries. Without a word or a doubt of what he was doing, Naaro did what his father told him to and learned the Zylophian and Yoshian magics. Then Naaro met two lifelong friends on a fateful night.
Two yoshians training in the Yoshian magics saw Naaro training. The two decided that this outsider would make for a good challenge and they challenged Naaro to a battle. The two fought hard. Naaro fought harder. He defeated the two yoshians. The two Yoshians, impressed by the outsider’s magic skills, befriended him. In time, Naaro found out the names of the two: NeuroYoshi and LichYoshi. The two yoshians told Naaro that they had to leave their planet as well. they revealed to Naaro that if he stayed in his Naburian form too long, he would be an outcast. So the two taught Naaro how to morph into a yoshian. The three became very good friends with one vow made to all the multiverse: to never allow one race to conquer another.
The three had no challenge until they heard of the horror on Nabur. Naaro hopped on his night dragon, as did his two friends. They flew to Nabur, and Naaro froze in shock when he saw what the Liungans had done. They had incenerated all life on the planet. Nabur was nothing but a barren desert. Naaro was angered by this greatly, and he vowed to destroy the Liungans. He finished his training in the Yoshian magics and became known as NaaroYoshi. He and his three friends stormed the palace of the Liungan Emperor the next day. They fought through all obstacles, and then reached darkbleeder, the Liungan Emperor. They could not defeat him with their powers alone, so NeuroYoshi put aside his sometimes selfish ideas and rammed into darkbleeder, using his life energy for power.
NaaroYoshi and LichYoshi ran as the palace crumbled and quaked. NeuroYoshi had sacrificed himself for his friends. 6 millenia later, NaaroYoshi has reconstructed NeuroYoshi by finding four artifacts of life. Today, the three are known to all as the “Vanguard of Outcasts” and the name of NaaroYoshi, the true leader of the group, strikes terror into the hearts of evil creatures and brings hope to the oppressed. And so, let the Legend of NaaroYoshi be heard in all corners of the multiverse!!!!
