Metallica is my favourite band and, IMO, THE best band in the history of the world. I have seen them live 3 times, and to me that is about a hundred times too few! The 1st time was @ The Hordern Pavilion, Sydney, back in 1989 - Awesome! 2nd was at Sydney Entertainment Centre a few years later (with my sister Penny, Dean, and my good mates Jason & Jud) - great still, but the stupid seating arrangements and "think they're king s*#t" security personnel at that venue are just f***ed. Last time was at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre (when most of the boys from Forster went - Gonz, Mun, Wok and Rachael too), which was THE opening gig of thiers to kick off thier last world tour!! (1998) Unforgettable.. I was in Vancouver, BC, Canada a couple of years ago and Metallica played a special 500-person + the town's residents concert at Tuktoyuktuk, some little very cold town in the Arctic Circle, Alaska - I *really* wish I had been able to go to THAT one! My favourite songs of thiers are, in a rough order: Sanitarium, Battery, Harvester, Thingy, Creep, Bellz, One, Whip, Fade, Seek, Blackened, Orion, Roam, Ktulu, Beholder, Fight Fire With Fire... well, I really like a *lot* of thier stuff ;) Go Lars, Jason, Kirk & James!!
