My favourite Court Sport is basketball. I didnt take it up until year 6 at school (i.e. when I was about 12 years old), and I wish I had gotten into it several years earlier.

Pretty much mainly due to the fact that they have THE BEST ATHLETE OF ALL TIME on thier team, but also because of thier other cool players.

However, a 'favourite team' for me personally has less meaning than it does for some, as I feel that nearly *all* top level basketball teams in all the top level leagues & associations internationally are cool. Cuz they are comrpised of many athletes whom I look up to and respect as awesome ball players.

My most 'local' top level bball team is the Newcastle Falcons (from Newcastle, NSW Australia) and so I go for them a fair bit. Of course I would *love* to see the Australian Boomers reach the position of second best in teh world, a few times, as they are my home country bball rep team.

Of course, second best is the best that any country can hope to gain, as the USA is *definitely* the best of all in this era of bball. Regardless of what rules various sporting organizations impose on various sports & bball competitions, the best of the USA, which are the best from the NBA, are unbeatable. They are legends, that have taken the game to an awesome level in this day and age.
