Hello Netgammon Players:
WE are currently working on putting together the best Netgammon
Festival 3 of all time! The work is being done by Allison of
NetGammon in France, RayB, director of International Backgammon Tournaments in Minnesota, and X-Ceo, a Netgammon Tournament Director and West Coast Rep. of International Backgammon Tournaments. NetGammon 3 will be a backgammon tournament for all NetGammon players, members and non-members in Las Vegas, USA in June of 2001. By being next year in June this will give all of us time to plan our vacations. Get the spouse prepared and have them come also as they can enjoy the shows,gambling, food and activities in the nice warm weather of Las Vegas in June. Being in June you can also bring the kids as Las Vegas now caters to families and there will be plenty for them to do also. So far our plans are to have the tourney over two or three days. This way you can get your best hotel and airfares. X-Ceo travels to Las Vegas quite often and she is lining up the playing area and possible sleeping rooms. We can give you 800 numbers to call for your rooms, or you may wish to stay in a place where we have the playing area for convenience. This could be the top vacation of your life as you enjoy a backgammon tourney during the day and gambling or shows in Las Vegas at night. If you've never been to Las Vegas this is the top spot in America for fun and we hope to make Netgammmon Festival Three part of it!
The main tourney will probably run around $30.00 and we'll have continous blitzes so you may be able to play all day there. One place we have in mind has a pool, sleeping rooms, rooms for our backgammon tourney, restaurants with good discounts for the playing rooms if we guarantee 20 filled sleeping rooms.
Even if you are just thinking about coming send a note to RayB so we can put you on this data base below and then keep you updated as then we all can know what to expect. So far we have many players coming as noted in the form below, lets add your name there also!!
