NS: Well Ernie is a master of his art. SP: What's his art? Buttkissing? NS: It doesn't hurt! [Mr. Shhh tries to motion for the crowd to settle down, but to no avail. He raises the microphone to his lips and begins to speak.] MS: Mark your calendars, folks. On August 22nd, MY Supreme Wrestling Federation will be holding Hostile Takeover 99. We looked long and hard for a location to hold this year's event, and then we stopped here in Minneapolis. [The fans cheer at the mention of their city's name.] MS: That's when we realized that we had to find somewhere else. [The cheers almost immediately switch to boos.] SP: That was cold! NS: Well face it, Simon, these fans probably deserved it. MS: So this year, when all of you lazy good for nothing idiots are sitting at home watching Hostile Takeover take place in Chicago, Illinois... you'll actually get to see what a good crowd in a good city is like. [The fans go absolutely wild with booing. Security is forced to quickly hold some fans back from jumping the guardrail.] MS: Now before I leave you and allow the remainder of tonight's even to take place, there are a couple of things that I would like to address. The first being a man by the name of Damion Hunters... The Modern Knight. [The crowd responds with a mixed reaction.] MS: Mr. Hunters has stated that he wants a match against any member of Trinity or The Family. There are two major problems with that, Damion. The first being the fact that no member of Trinity has the balls to accept your challenge. [The crowd boos loudly.] MS: This second being the fact that you don't deserve a match against any member of The Family. Now just maybe you'll get the chance some day in the future, but as for right now... I don't think so. However, I don't want to leave you empty handed, so Commissioner Pagan has taken the liberty to book you a match more suited to your standards. This week on Around The World, you will step into the ring with 300 lbs of madness... [Mr. Shhh tries to hold back a laugh.] MS: Damion Hunters... you will be wrestling the Third World Order's very own... Monster Mark! [The crowd boos heavily, but it could be easily mistaken for a loud groan.] SP: Monster Mark? You've got to be kidding me. NS: Don't sell Mark too short. He's a big, tough guy. [Mr. Shhh raises the microphone back to his lips and begins to speak, but the crowd boos even louder, causing him to lower the mic and shake his head. An "Equalizer" chant breaks out.] NS: Show the man some respect! If it wasn't for him, none of you would be here watching Slaughterhouse tonight! SP: And we wouldn't have jobs. [Mr. Shhh, realizing that the fans aren't shutting up any time soon, raises the mic back to his lips.] MS: That brings me to the other thing I would like to discuss. You can call for Equalizer all you want, but he's not gonna show up. He didn't show up to the arena tonight, and to be quite honest, you may never see him again. [The crowd again erupts with boos.] MS: And you might ask yourself exactly where your great hero is right now. I would suggest he's at the very same place he was last week... not here to fulfill his contractual obligations. SP: What is he talking about? I didn't realize Equalizer was obligated to be here tonight. [A "You Suck" chant breaks out from the upper deck and quickly catches on throughout the rest of the arena.] MS: Speaking of E's little absence last week... I must say that it was very unfitting of a World Champion to not even bother to show up to defend his own title, and for all intents and purposes... Fatal Fury should be your champion right now. [The crowd responds with a mixed reaction, partly cheering and partly booing.] MS: But I was a nice guy... I let it slide. Then I came here tonight and saw that he was once again absent. [Mr. Shhh shakes his head, cracking a slight grin.] MS: So the fact of the matter is, while I cannot literally strip him of the title of champion at this time, I did take it upon myself to remedy a very embarrassing situation... that being an employee who refuses to work yet holds on to the World Title belt. SP: Where is he going with this? MS: So as of tonight, despite the fact that he is still the World Champion... he no longer has rights to wearing that belt. In fact, the way I see it, there's only one man who has that right... [Mr. Shhh opens his trench coat to reveal the SWF World Heavyweight Title belt around his waist. The crowd is booing louder than ever.] SP: What? I can't believe he's doing this! Equalizer missed his flight last week, and he wasn't even supposed to be here tonight. NS: Got to admit, the belt looks great back around his waist. [Mr. Shhh removes the belt from around his waist and places it up on his shoulder.] MS: So there you have it, E. If you don't want to fulfill your contractual obligations, you get punished. As far as I'm concerned... this belt belongs to me now. [Mr. Shhh pats his hand on the belt and smiles as the crowd continues to boo loudly. Pagan noticeably storms off the ramp and back through the curtains. Mr. Shhh looks back towards Sandman who in turn shrugs and goes after Pagan. Mr. Shhh, somewhat shocked, again raises the microphone to his lips.] MS: Uhm... I believe that will be... all... for now. [Mr. Shhh just drops the microphone and "Money" once again begins to play. Shhh exchanges words with Ernie Lee as the two heads through the curtains and to the back.] SP: What I want to know is how Mr. Shhh even got that belt. He claimed that he decided to take it when he realized that Equalizer hadn't shown up tonight, but if E wasn't here... where did he get it from? He simply HAD to have gotten the title from him before tonight. None of what he said makes sense. NS: Mr. Shhh is a very rich and powerful man. He could have just gotten someone to steal the belt and send it with some 30 minute delivery service. SP: You have got to be kidding me. NS: Forget about that. What was wrong with Pagan? Why did he just leave like that? SP: I'm not really sure, but that's the second time in two weeks that the Commissioner has walked out on The Family. Mr. Shhh definitely looked concerned. I can't imagine what's going through Pagan's head right now. NS: I don't think I want to know! But we have to get on with this final match. SP: OK....Well our last match of the evening and it is for the Intercontinental Belt. NS: As you remember last Thursday thanks to Kirsten the Exorcist won his shot at this title due to a DQ. SP: So tonight we are going to see if a relative new comer will be able to cinch at tile. NS: It is entirely possible Phoenix... Exorcist has really made his mark here in the SWF. SP: Yeah a crucifix - but be that as it may there will be no surprises from Exorcist and Frenck will have him all to himself. NS: Well unless Trinity decides they want The Exorcist all to themselves to beat the hell out of just for their own entertainment. SP: It looks like Rick Ascott is motioning for the lights and we are about to begin the last match of the evening. RA: This contest is scheduled for one fall. It is for the SWF Intercontinental Title. ["Ride of the Valkyries" begin to blare over the loud speaker system] Introducing first... From Georgetown... Weighing in at 320 pounds... The Exorcist [The lights in the arena dim, and the silhouette of a cross is displayed on the walkway to the ring. The Exorcist steps up onto the platform as the crowd begins to cheer.] SP: You gotta admit he is a favorite here tonight. [The Exorcist walks down the aisle, heading slowly to the ring not acknowledging anyone, just looking straight ahead. As he steps into the ring the music is replaced by "Cities On Flame" by Blue Oyster Cult] His opponent... Hailing from San Ramon, CA... Weighing in at 235 pounds... The SWF Intercontinental Champion and one member of the SWF Tag Team Champions... "Critical" Brian Frenck [The jumbotron explodes with the letters UFO which fades into a shot of Frenck and McNeill wearing their Tag Team Belts. Brian has the IC belt draped over his shoulder. As he steps onto the platform fireworks explode around the arena and he hands McNeill his Tag Belt and places his IC belt around his waist. The crowd is in a frenzy as he walks confidently to the ring] SP: Gotta tell you Shade the Exorcist is one big boy.... He has almost a 100 lbs on Frenck.
