Background: Abandoned before birth by his father and disowned before the
age of 10 by his mother, Michael Christopher spent most of his youth
seeking the answers to his questions in his birthplace of New Orleans,
Louisiana. Considered a social outcast, the majority of his time was
spent reading everything from Shakespeare to Poe to the books on which
every world religion were based. Frustrated in finding no salvation in
any of these words, he tossed his past into the very back of his mind and
entered the world of professional pit fighting at the age of 18.
Battered and bruised almost nightly, it was here that he was discovered
by a scout from a major wrestling organization based out of Canada.
Convinced that he had what it took to be a leader in a more extreme style
of professional wrestling, he took the job and headed north. It was
here, spending half of the night in a hotel bar after battling for nearly
one hour in a battle royal taking place in Toronto, that he met a young
lady by the name of Emily Campbell who would later be introduced to the
wrestling world as Aissa. Never really gaining a name for himself,
Christopher became frustrated with the working schedules and lack of
push. Using this as a learning experience, he packed his bags and headed
for a tour of organizations throughout Europe where he captured his first
championship along with former tag team partner, Mark Adams. Holding
onto the titles for around four months, the team received an offer that
they could not refuse. They were brought to Japan for a try out and were
immediately accepted into the ranks of many top stars.
Their union however was soon sent into a bitter downward spiral as
Christopher discovered his true nature... that of a heel. On December
19, 1994, Pagan was born. A shroud of darkness seemed to engulf his entire
presence wherever he went, and his career shot directly to the top.
Bringing in Aissa as his new manager, Pagan spent close to a year
switching titles back and forth with his former tag team partner in a
feud that ended with a table death match, which would actually be Adams'
last match in the sport. Steadily rising higher and higher up the ladder
and constantly increasing his arsenal of moves along the way, Pagan
became a household name throughout Japan. At the peak of his career
overseas, he was contacted by an American based fed called the Supreme
Wrestling Federation. Finally after weeks of negotiations, Pagan made
his SWF debut on June 28, 1997. Despite a brief absense from the sport
(rumoured to be mainly because of Aissa's recent pregnancy), Pagan has
returned to an entirely new SWF. A league that has become even more
brutal and chaotic since his departure is now forced to look into the
cold eyes of the man of sin yet again.
However, not even Pagan remains the same. More determined, more blood
thirsty, and maybe more unstable than ever before... he has turned the
tables on the world. The answers he spent so long seeking have been found,
but now he has thrown an entirely new set of questions before the wrestling
world and only he knows the truth.
