This is a very large room, and the biggest of any of the pyramids I've seen so far. I think that Khufu's pyramid, next to this one is the only one that has a larger burial chamber. It was closed at the time, so I never went inside of it. The sarcophagus is what the people are looking at. Most of the entire weight of the pyramid rests on this room, so I'm happy they built it very well.
