Brian and Nick are sitting at school eating lunch. Nick was new at school.
Brian: So what did you do last summer?
Nick: I went to the beach. I met a boy there.
Brian: A guy?br> Nick: He was sort of special.
Brian: There aint no such thing, especially with another guy!

Howie, AJ and Kevin are eating their lunch on the bleachers. Howie is the guy Nick was talking about. Neither of them know they are attending the same highschool
AJ: So Howie. I want to hear about what you did at the beach.
Kevin: yyyeeeaaahhh�
Howie: Oh you don't want to hear all the horny details.
AJ: oh yes we do!
They sing Summer Lovin'
Kevin: So..what..was..her..name? Howie: His name is Nick
AJ: Man, your sick!
Kevin: Yah..your..whack!

Back to Nick and Brian. Brian: So what was his name?
Nick: Howie. Howie Dorough
Brian: Well, he sounds peachy and maybe someday as fate has it, you two may meet. Gotta go.
Brian departs

A few nights later they are all at the school spirit rally
Brian: Come on Nick. I have a surprise for you.
Nick: A surprise? Oooh I love surprises!
They walk towards Howie, AJ and Kevin
Brian: Hey Howie. Got a surprise.
Nick: Howie?!
Howie: Nick?! I thought you were going to Australia?!?!?
Nick: We had a change of plans
AJ: Howie? Howie: I mean, uh.. hey.
Nick: Howie..? What's the matter with you?
Howie: I dunno. What's the matter with you?
Nick: Where's the Howie I met at the beach?
Howie: I don't know. Check the yellow pages. Maybe we're twins.
Nick: You're a fake and a phony and I wish I never layed eyes on you!

A few days later, Nick meets up with Howie at the school
Howie: I'm sorry.
Nick: It's ok.
Howie: So are you going to the school dance?
Nick: It depends.
Howie: On what? Nick: On you.
They decide to go together

Nick: This is so exciting!
Howie: Now don't go wetting your pants like the time when we went to the Summer Fling dance.
Nick: I let a dribble out Howie. I'm sorry to ruin it for us.
Howie: Don't worry. Just go change.
Nick leaves to change fast and Howie ends up dancing with Justin Timberlake, his former fling
When Nick returns and sees Howie and Justin dancing he runs off. Crying girlish sobs.
Howie notices him and runs after him
He catches up with Nick finally. Nick smells of urine
Howie: Oh Nick, did you have to piss your pants?
Nick: You know I do that when I am upset or excited. I can't help it.
Howie: It's ok.
Nick: Who was that guy?
Howie: Just a friend.
Nick: Did you go with him?
Howie: No, I went with him
Nick: That's the same thing

Howie: Who cares
Nick: Are you embarrassed to be with me because I am a guy?
Howie: No of course not honey. Are you embarrassed to be with me because I'm a girlish guy with pubic hair growing out of my head?
Nick: No, my sweets!

It's the end of the year at the carnival. Howie is with AJ and Kevin wearing macho clothes. They see Nick walk up wearing a dress
Howie: Nick? You've changed
Nick:Tell me about it, stud
They sing You're the One That I Want and Howie ends up wearing his normal clothes. He is thrilled to see Nick dressed as a chic.
Everyone starts to sing and dance and then Howie and Nick drive off in a wonderful car towards their wonderful life together.
