but He appreciated other brands like Marlboro at times

Michael Jackson invited Freddie over to his house
in Encino on Hayvenhurst Avenue.
At that time Freddie was smoking something
in the region of forty cigarettes a day.

"Would you mind if I have a cigarette?"
Freddie plucked up the courage and asked Michael.

"Yeah, sure," Michael said but he looked a bit perplexed
because he didn't own an ashtray.
Michael's mother produced the lid of an empty preserve jar
which Freddie could carry around with him.

However, Freddie stopped smoking when it needed.
No doubts, He was a strong-willed man
who never wanted to lose control...
