Leroy and Marjorie have minor
roles in the plot throughout the film.

This cute little girl with eyes
for Leroy had the mischievious look I expected Leroy to have.

We see Birdie briefly at the beginning only.

We get to see Gildy
in his Air Raid Warden’s outfit!

Gildy orders a big breakfast but cuts
back a little.

Mr. Peavey’s all cleaned up
and looking better.
He’s got a major role in the
picture.

Gildy’s love interest, Matilda checks up
on him and as usual, Gildy’s in the soup.

Hey! There’s Ken Christy
(Radio’s Chief Gates) as a police Lieutenant trying to settle a dispute
over a fur coat.

Walter Tetley plays a bellhop in a
short but amusing segment.
It’s great to see and hear him on screen.

Tetley gives Gildy
advice on getting a girl’s interest.

Gildy and
“wife” Jennifer (Peavy in drag) and the
wonderful Billie Burke.

At the end, Gildy’s
out of the fire and into the frying pan.
He signs off with his signature “ Good night, folks!”
