Relationship Milestone:
First peck

The Scene: After they spent the day forlicking on Venice Beach,
Eric took Nicole to a trendy restaurant for dinner. When the conversation
turned to the subject of her past, Nicole hedged and suggested that they
dance. Eric went in for a kiss, but was rejected. Back at her hotel
room, Eric gave it another try. "It's not like I'm asking you to marry
me or anything," Eric remarked. "I guess I have the tendancy to be overly
cautious," Nicole replied before planting a kiss on his lips. Afterward,
Nicole claimed she was going to bed, but then slipped out to meet Jay at
a bar. Eric trailed her to the joint and got into a brawl with Jay. Nicole
fled with Eric, then fibbed that Jay was her druggie "cousin".

Stumbling Blocks: Nicole. She's afraid of letting Eric get too
close for fear that he'll learn all about her secret, sordid past.

Current Status: Eric and Nicole are attracted to one another, but
Eric has become suspicious of Nicole's strange behavior. No wonder:
Jay is blackmailing her.

The Odds: Pretty good. Eric is a nice guy who seems like he's
willing to accept almost anything. But goody two-shoes couples are
boring, so look for a bumpy road ahead.
