Tokio Texas Tornado
My husband's uncle owns the Tokio Store.  He, his wife and son, Ron's brother, his wife and 2 sons, Ron's Grandmother and four others were in the store when the F3 tornado hit it on Friday, October 12.  The clocks were stopped at 10:10 pm.  They say it just got real quiet and real warm before the windows blew in.  No one even got a scratch. The uncle lost his house across the street, his trucks, his semi...Grandma's house next door only lost a window and some shingles.  Then, my brother in law had taken his liability only covered truck over there and it was hit with a bail of hay.  The fully covered car was left at their home.  Channel 6 news was there when they finally let us in but they passed off their footage as belonging to another ladie's property.  Channel 10 did a better job and showed alot of family.
That roof has problems!  The roof came off the ladie's bathroom.
I believe that is the remains of Charles and Debra's home in the neighbor's yard.
There were 12 people inside when the 100 year old store got this roof damage.
The Red Cross and several other groups worked all day to clean up the area.
