*We aren't sure if this TV thing is real because they've always said 'Nay' to the thought...so again, take it for what it's worth...another article on Hanson.
Hanson:
What they dream about
*****************************
Believe it or not, the guys have big dreams beyond being platinum
recording artists- and that dream has already come true!
"Being successful feels good, but it is not the be-all and
end-all of life." says oldest bro Ike. "Family matters
first and foremost and everything else comes in second. We're all
thrilled my mom had another baby. It's a girl. Maybe we can get
her to take drumming lessons in case Zac gets too outta
control!"
The guys are also excited at the prospect of their upcoming tour;
their first really big show with "the whole shebang" as
Zacs puts it.
Then, there's their upcoming ABC sitom, on which they will start work in May. Asked if the series will include situations from their real lives, Ike replies, "Yeah- and also things that could easily happen but haven't yet."
Apparently, the
plan is to make the program a modern-day version of The Monkees,
with wacky antics- and maybe an occasional heartbreak.
"It'll be really real", says Ike. "We'll be
acting, but our parents want it to
show how we really are."
ABC has also unconfirmed that it is developing a Saturday-morning
Hanson cartoon show, which will use the guys' real voices. On top
of that, a movie is in the works.
The idea of having to move from their home in Tulsa to L.A.
doesn't exactly thrill the guys, but L.A. is where their TV shows
will tape. "We'll get homesick a lot", Tay says,
"but hey, our folks will be out there with us. We will
definitely miss our friends though. We are confident the
experience will be worth anything we have to sacrifice."
What else is in
Hanson's future? Did we mention their official biography that
has hit bestseller lists and a huge merchandising empire called
Hansonopoly?
Tay says the boys know they're the luckiest guys in the world.
"We are so thankful to God for all these opportunities.
Sometimes it's hard to believe all
this is happening to us. We make a living at what we love and
people applaud
for us, but underneath, we're just like the folks next
door."
