Meet Hanson
In the months after the 1997 launch of their now multi-platinum album, Middle of Nowhere, HANSON, performed in countries around the world, sang the National Anthem at the World Series, appeared on Saturday Night Live, and sang for the President in a nationally televised Christmas special in Washington, D.C. In 1998, HANSON continues to captivate audiences with their music, strong work ethic and solid family values. Critics and music industry insiders applaud Isaac, 17; Taylor, 15; and Zac 12, for their musical talent, while predicting their continues success. Their parents, Walker and Diana Hanson, tour with the band, providing necessary balance in the fast-paced world of professional music.
As songwriters, the three brothers are exceptional - and prolific. Their songs reflect their musical roots, their family values, and an imaginative view of the world. HANSON performed locally in the Tulsa area for six years before Mercury records discovered and signed the group in 1996.
Zac: "No matter what you do, just keep writing."
Isaac: "Always try different things and never be limited by one way of doing it."
Taylor: "The one thing you always have to remember when you're writing a song, is anything could be a good piece later on, so you should never say, 'Oh that's bad,' just because it's not finished."
