Hanson? Hot?? Nah, couldn�t be�
I just love how these poster people label the pictures�actually, I would rather they didn�t because I really don�t care for the labeling�I�d rather have a nice, clear photo of the group. But, that could be just me�who knows?!! It tickles me how they sometimes feel the need to name the person on the poster�if you like them, you�ll probably know who it is�if you don�t like them, you probably don�t care.
Back to Hanson�
In Hanson group photos�there�s almost always some sort of contact between the three of them�for instance�Zac putting his arm on Isaac�s shoulder�it�s either one of two things�their body language reinforces that they really are close�or�these photographers arrange the guys in any which way�
Some pictures are more�natural looking. This one is not. This picture looks purely posed. They just don�t look natural to me�
Isaac�in all black�nice�I think that he has a black jacket over a black shirt�which, of course, is over some black jeans/pants�which makes Isaac extremely monochromatic�nice, but he needs some color. His hair is semi-floofy�always a nice thing�facial expression�my take? He was not ready for this particular picture.
Zac�Zac in this picture just doesn�t look like our typical Zac. His clothes are Zac-wear�his posture is Zac-like�his hair is doing the "I�m frumpled but I still look good" thing�but Zac looks absolutely bored in this picture. He�s trying�he could be trying very hard�to smile�but that thought wasn�t fully realized in this picture. Just not an overall impressive look for Zac�nor is an impressive picture. Moving on�
Taylor�while I admit�Taylor�s shirt gives me the shivers�he looks the best in this picture. Taylor is doing his all-time famous, Taypose�you know the one�you see it in a ton of his pictures�not as much of late�but try and look at some of his earlier shots�you�ll see it there. He has the posture that is typical of Taylor in pictures�he has that look in his eye that is typical of Taylor in pictures�and last but not least, he has that "I�m trying to irk Mari to her fullest extent" type of overshirt. Yes, I dislike this shirt too�but the thing about it is this�that shirt doesn�t look HALF as strange on Taylor Hanson as it would on anybody else on this earth�so take note everyone�you wear something like this�you�ll look stupid. Taylor wears this�he looks like Taylor. And that ain�t a bad thing, is it?!!

Ah, a picture with multiple dosing elements...I like that!
I'm in such a ZACwonderful mood this week...musta been some picture of his smile somewhere that zapped me again! So anyway, I am gonna begin right there with Sunshine Boy himself! I am amused that Zac is the standing bro in this shot...not squished, not perched...but standing tall. I was gonna say straight and tall, but obviously he's leaning on Ike. Ah, what are big bros for anyway? Zac (wearing typical Zac threads) kinda has a "Yeah, let's get over with this, I have stuff to do." look on his face. A near smile, so I am hopeful! He certainly isn't looking much like that little kid who was in that MMMBop video a year or so ago, is he? But oh, do we KNOW it's him! Cuz he's still so "squeezable!" (sorry Zac, sweetie!) Oh wait...I gotta do the hair commentary. Zac just has THE hair...not combed, ruffled up, or combed, smooth...whichEVER he has, it looks good. It's kina ruffled up here, but hey...it's ZAC!
Ike. Now some of you may go "huh?" after my next comment. Ike is wearing "Classic Ike Hanson HUMONGOUS Bows" on those tennies! I am not sure if it will show up in the pic we posted, but in another shot, I saw them...they were there, just like they were in Seattle. We got a big kick outta that! He almost has the Seattle "floof" going on with the hair, too. I am sooo pleased he's letting the natural curl do it's natural thing, it looks great on him. I like the all black motif in his clothing, and the V-neck, open collar...whichever it is, Ike has a nice neck and he's letting us see that here! I think (outside of the tennies) he's looking mighty classy here. However, I am not too sure if he was ready for this shot either.
And now, Tay. Well, as Mari observed, and I concur....no one else can wear this shirt and look good. Tay makes it work. I am still trying to figure out HOW, but hey, it's TAY! I just get a kick outta calling this the "amber waves of grain shirt!" All those pictures of fields of grain, blue skies, etc. on there. Hey, we coulda called it "Field of Dreams Shirt" I suppose...but I digress. Where was I? Tay looking good....how COULD I forget?? I happen to think that he was the only truly "ready" one for this shot. He's doing that thing that he does...that gorgeous "kill you with his eyes" look.....that "I lost my train of thought, cuz I was looking at a great Taylor Hanson picture" look...that...oh geez, YOU get the idea. DANG!
The photographer had a nice pose going here. The stylist (let's guess it was Hanson themselves) did a bang up job. And let's let Zac go take care of that important business now. (Probably N64......)

This photo doesn't do very much for me.
It's okay...but just that.
The guys look pretty regular here. (Er...that'd be because they're regular guys?)
It doesn't look to me like they were "into" this particular photo...or maybe they weren't ready...it doesn't look "together" like most others do.
Taylor has that deer in headlights look going on...somewhere...and Ike and Zac are somewhere else. It looks like Ike is *trying* to smile or trying to suppress a snicker and Zac looks like this better be the last one...or else...
About the Classic Tay Pose...hunch down on one knee...two fingers on the floor...other hand casually hanging...when I see this pose, I think of football. You know, I bet Taylor would even look good in a helmet and those silly tight pants...
Maybe somebody should make "Taylor Hanson Paper Dolls"...find something he doesn't look good in!
About the 1974 silkscreen-looking shirt on Taylor...you know...I don't want to say anything bad about this shirt because maybe Taylor likes it.
When Mo first brought it to my attention, my head spun around and pea soup flew out of my mouth...no wait..that's The Exorcist...never mind. Anyway, I thought this was a hideous shirt. "Taylor, what were you thinking?!" Then after seeing it...often...I think it grew on me. No wait...that'd be mold...I think I built a tolerance for this shirt.
Mari's right- if anyone else wore this thing, they would look like they just came out of Pancho's Bargain Hut...no wait...kicked out of Pancho's Bargain Hut!
But this shirt on Taylor....how does he do that?!
