Mos dose:
Well, this is the quintessential Isaac Hanson picture. Here we see Ike looking like a nice young man from well...Oklahoma. Not a Big Time Pop Music Star....or Teen Idol...just "IKE."
I absolutely love the plaid shirt....it's so down home, kick back, let's rent a movie and do nothing else today, I'll call Pizza Hut and not cook, pass me the M&M's, is that comforter keeping you warm enough, let me massage your feet while we relax on the sofa kind of look! Did I mention...I LOVE this shirt? Oh...that white tank top underneath...that ain't so bad either! Although we cannot see the lower portion of this pic...I think it is safe to assume that Isaac is either wearing: Khakis....or baggy black slacks. A look that works well for our favorite guitarist!
Isaac is not too smiley here....but that's okay...he seems to just be looking "relaxed." No smile is necessary. And yes, he is looking rather handsome here. I mean, "DANG handsome!" *tee hee*
Mari's dose:
I have a completely "dang man" moment when I see this picture of Isaac. Could this be a 17 year old? Hmmm...well, if ANYTHING...Isaac looks way mature in this pic. Notice the label? iegads!!!
I've NEVER known Isaac to have a 'look'. Usually, it's his friendly grin, or the lovable goofy face, or even the "I'm not ready for the picture but you took it, too late" face. But this pic!! "Ike, you've been holding out on us!" This is THE LOOK!!! What a gaze...kind of goes right through you, doesn't it?!
The hair...not floofy...but it's perfect.
The shirt...I like. And I have a really HUGE "thing" for white tee shirts and tank tops...so I'm not even going to go there.
DAAAAAANNNGGG Man!!
Circe's dose:
Go ahead and laugh, but this photo screams "The Pride of Oklahoma."
Or...one of them anyway.
Trivial stuff first: I normally rankle at those Italian T-shirts. I do not like them. They remind me of big, fat sloppy, sweaty apartment landlords that smell of cigars. They make me think of bookies too. But on the right guy....I can completely change my mind. It's no secret I love plaid shirts. Think of that early photo of Hanson in the slicked back 50's hair and plaid shirts...Hanson and plaids work. (Except on the Christmas Special parody, but that's another dose for another day.)
When I first saw this picture, I loved it immediately. Isaac looks like *Any Guy* here. Any guy at the Laundromat...any guy hanging out on the front porch waiting for the tractor parts to be delivered...any guy at the Harvest Fest dance...I could go on.
What I like best about this particular Isaac photo is the thing I like best about Isaac himself- he looks like he doesn't miss much. He may not clobber you over the head with it, like some would and he may not outright call you on it like Zac sometimes does, but he seems like he knows what the deal is. I think this picture reflects that.
Coming from a line of Oklahomans (brag, brag) I have to admire this quality : )

Circe's comments:
I shamelessly admit, when I first saw this picture, I actually sat here with my mouth hanging open. Words were not even a remote possibility.
Holy Salt Lick! LOOK at this picture!!!! I shouldn't even HAVE to say anything!!!!
I have this named as TaylorAngel in my files. I'm probably not the only one.
The photographer responsible for this needs a Gold Medal. How can anyone, specifically, how can a GUY be so unspeakably beautiful and yet have such a naivete` about it? A guy whose parts were all put together while God was having a real good day.
Look at those eyes! AHHHHHH!!!!!! Did someone spray menthol on Taylor just before they snapped the picture?! How about that perfect mouth?! That slight smile?!
That piece of hair tucked behind his ear?!
Taylor, if you ever read this, don't get a fat head, okay? This is close to what I saw at Key Arena the night after the concert. And the best part is that those looks are backed up by personality and a genuine niceness.
You can't beat that.
Mo's comments:
oh my....oh...think..think...THINK....
Tay...here we have a beautiful creature...I agree with Circe..."God was having a really good day!" Let me share more what I like about this pic.
I love this gray sweater...it is the one with the burgundy swipe across the chest. He wore it on the Jenny McCarthy show...he's worn it in multiple photo shoots...wonder if he still has it. Tay in this sweater is a powerful statement. He just looks darn good. Even the little peek of white t-shirt underneath looks good.
The hair. Oh...heavens...just like Seattle under the streetlight. I was SOO mesmerized by that little strand of hair tucked behind his left ear...WHY? I dunno...it just was this "casual sweetness" about him...you saw it in his eyes, his hair (tee hee)..and most definitely heard it in his voice. Tay has got *the* most perfect cupid bow lips...egads...you can't get any better then those. And his eyes...oh well..I said he was a beautiful creature...what else can I say??
Those chokers....wonder if they will EVER come off?? hmmmmm.
Dang..he looks GOOD...definitely a SUNSHINE ANGEL!
Mari's comments:
Notice the resounding sounds of "DANG" coming from the staff at SA?? hehehe...sometimes, all you need is a word.
Taylor, in this picture...wow. That's another word. Beautiful...yet another. I'm not sure how...but even on his worst days...Taylor has a wonderful look. With his hair all messy...all sweaty and messed up...he still looks unbelievable. That's what I call...UNFAIR!
But this is not a 'worst day' kind of picture. This is a picture of greatness. Whew!
He looks natural. Taylor in a very natural kind of way. The hair is not perfect, yet it is. This picture is of a normal guy, but yet it is not. Taylor is Taylor...and Taylor is special.

Mari's view:
It
was my duty...hehe...to choose the picture of Zac that we would
use for this edition of the Daily Dose. You must understand that
I, nearly always, zero in on Zac. I mean, I didn't even notice
Taylor playing Zac's drumset in Seattle...my eyes were following
The Cuteball...oops, I mean Zac. Will I get in trouble for
calling him that? Well, that's too bad! "Zac dear, you are
cute...you just must face the facts!"
Anyway, what I am trying to say is this...it was supremely
difficult for me to choose ONE picture. I have way too many Zac
pictures stored on my hard drive...too many for me to choose
from! ACK! I narrowed it down to three. Believe me, a HARD thing
to do!
The first was a picture of Zac sitting on a railing. This one was
from the Scholastic Hanson Book...do you remember this one? Nice,
big, fuzzy jacket with those YELLOW (Hell-low!) pants and
"THE YELLOW DOCS"! The next was from what looked to be
one from the Entertainment Weekly shoot. He is sitting on the
floor between his brothers (who were not in this particular
picture...wonder how that happened?) and has a maroon tie-dye
looking shirt and this look on his face that either
says..."I'm
cute and don't you know it!!" or "Hurry up and take the
darn picture!!". Somehow, I think it was the latter. (BTW,
you can find those two pics in the ITZ Photo Book...somewhere in
the Zachary Picture
Pages...first is labeled lonelyboy.jpg and the second is
tyedye.jpg)
I finally concluded that I would pick this picture. Why? Well, I
think that it represents Zac very well. His fun-loving, adorable,
mischievous, little self shines all over this picture! I know you
can't see his clothes all that much...so I won't dose you that
way. But, it looks like another big, red jacket with an tee-shirt
underneath and some baggy jeans...with some Hansony shoes a/k/a
boots! Some typical Zac garb! Anyhoo, getting back to my point.
Believe me, I have one...it does take awhile though...shuush
Mari...okay, okay, okay...
Take
a look at Zac's face. Do you see how bright his face looks? I do.
I see his eyes sparkling with pure delight and enjoyment! I see
his little, cutie-pie chin dimple! Zac looks happy! I like it
when I
see Zac look happy! I hope that he IS happy...always.
Circe's view:
What can I say about this pic that Mari didn't already say?
The thing with Zac, (to me) is at times we see him doing the serious thing. And that's good. I like how he will put someone in their place without being rude about it. I wish *I* knew how to do this!
Yet then he'll go and do something dorky or make some silly comment or a joke at the right time and I think "Zac knows the score." He's no clown- he knows when to turn it off.
If everyone could be more like Zac, I think that would be a good thing. "Adults!" This means you! Take a clue from Zac!
Mo's view:
ZAC ZAC ZAC!! "Will you LOOK at that face!"<----I say this ALL the time when I see a ZAC pic. Its the smile...its the knowing eyes...its...its....ZAC! I love his mischievous ways...like Circe pointed out...he knows what is going on..he can turn it off....just go watch your TTMON tape...you'll see it there.
And Mari...she said it all..but wait..I got MORE to say..thought I didn't..but KNOW I DO!
Zac can never be "too much" for me. There is something to be said about his wonderful approach to life, his family, his career. It may on the outside seem he isn't taking anything seriously....but it seems more that he is embracing the joy that is found within everything. Just look at this kick......in all the joy he embraces.. we find he just has to EXPLODE with the joy inside him. That is the face...that is the smile...I LOVE THIS KID<---I say that a lot, too!
"Something special about you babe, maybe it's your smile!"
