Zac: I'm the same person the only thing that's different is there
are those girls out there and you are talking to me with a
camera.
Tay: The thing is, this IS a normal life for us, coz all our life
we have sung, and we have performed, we have always done this.

Tay: The boyband thing: You know it is like we don't think of
ourselves as boys we don't at all. We just happen to be boys,
that's only a piece of it. and the music is not angled in that
direction in any way. It's just about the music and the songs
that we write and that we play

Ike: Zac said one time: just think of us as...
Tay and Ike together: Old guys with high voices.
Tay: That's what we are...

Tay:
Our friends, they have seen us when we were doing our first
album, and now... they kind of watched it. And they are still the
same as they always have been. They don't think of us as Hanson,
they just think of us as friends.
Ike: They always go: "Oh man it is so weird seeing you on
you know some cover some magazine, it is very odd b/c we know you
as just the guys "Ike Tay Zac"

Zac:
What do you mean "miss" I mean we have missed anything.
Falling in love, well I still got a few years.
Tay: He is 12 years old, I mean, we haven't missed anything. We
have only gotten to do more. People ask us why are you so young,
why are you doing it now and not do it later.
The thing is, you couldn't keep us from doing it, b/c it wouldn't
matter if we were sitting at home; we would still be singing and
writing songs

Tay:
I think its kind of funny to say that a 17, 14 and 12 year old
need a mate. To me that seems hilarious.
Zac: When you got a girlfriend and you are my age, it's umm,
"lets go rollerblade" wait...umm, there is no point
Tay: Lets go sit in a room and watch TV
Zac:It's like a title that doesn't mean anything
Tay: What are you going to do, you can't even drive, it's like,
"Mom, can you take us to the movies? I mean it just like
there is nothing there, so that's not going to be a problem in
anyway.
Zac: When the time comes that we actually need "a mate"
we will find "a mate"
