Why do things have to change?
Why can't they stay the same?
Why can't we go through life
Without changing and adding strife?
Why does there have to be pain?

I don't understands the actions of man
To hurt and leave one to cry.
Maybe not on purpose, or maybe it is
Whichever, it's not right.

I know we can't live everyday
The same as the one before.
But why does it have to be
Sorrow, hurt, and pain
Always at my door?
