Field Of Dreams
by

Jan Swinton

In loving memory of my Grandfather, Earl Paulus,
who passed away in November of 1994

No words can describe the
sorrow we are all feeling today.
It is not up to us,
God has planned it to be this way.

Children, mothers, fathers, and friends
we join together sharing our thoughts and feelings as
one. For at times like these the question is,
Our Father in heaven, what is it you have done?

Do you see those people down there?
The ones sitting in your chair, your couch,
standing by that door? They all love
and respect you, but I your Father, love you more.

Faith, a loving wife, family and his farm
were his every joy it all seems.
This was his greatest treasure.
This is his field of dreams.
