"Poetic Justice"
by
J.L. Evans
Poetic Justice, it finds a way ,
to teach a man he has to pay ,
for things he's done through out his life,
be it peace or be it strife .
We find one soul upon the stand ,
his deeds are told and deaths at hand.
He kicks his feet as he gasps for breath ,
taut, oiled rope snaps his neck .
When they cut him down , the breath escapes ,
gone to hell his soul to take.
It comes alive in a fiery pit,
Poetic Justice , remember it ....
