Angel Alvarenga
the sloe-eyed dragon stretches
saber diamond nails
brushing my neck
forming tiny crimson trails
wading in a dark fantasy
I hold his gleaming form near
lying on smooth, silver sand
fluttering, sensing leer
caked with mud, walking on his hands
ice-blue fire melts through flick’ring shadows
crushing incandescent wings in his teeth
pale, glittering skin keeps us in repose
sleeping beauty's nightmare
smoking his sleek diablerie
mystical rhapsodist, his glistening touch
wrapping me in his talismanic beauty
