Trust
by

Jessica Cordova

Trust is one thing you must earn
from me.
But it seems the more I want to
trust all of you the
more
you make it harder to.
You,
lie, say "I promise," "Don't worry I won't tell,"
Those lines and more mean nothing to me
They did but no longer do.
You have abused them, I can see straight through your
face, your lies, that you want me
to believe.
No matter what you do or say from now
on will ever change the way I feel.
