Dennis Jeffra is
a peaceful, very thoughtful man whom I met working for Social Security. He's recently
secured a field position with SSA and is compiling more of his poetry to publish in book
form. He continues to ponder: "Is there is any providence in the falling of the
sparrow?"
The Trip
Dennis Jeffra
1- Across the blistering
sky
2 - The rain does fall
3 - Down, down upon my
wondering mind
4 - My sense are aglow
with the passion of the moment.
1 - I am carried deeper
and deeper into my cave of light
2 - I see, I feel, I
touch, but I don't move.
3 - I wonder...Is this
real?...Is this a dream?
4 - I dare not think of
it much for fear this pleasure will end.
1 - So on I go
2 - Deeper and deeper
until...
3 - I awake where I
began...
4 - In my room, insane
again.
