      INQUISITION is an arts/literature webzine which will present works from a wide range of subject matter and will explore the dialogue and nature of art through the personal experience of the individual. INQUISITION is for anyone who feels the urge to ask questions from the universe, for those who do not live in the dark.

     Welcome to my Inquisition web-zine. Many changes can be expected as I play around with it and add content. Content will be added part by part and the different sections outlined above and to the side will become active in days to come. I appreciate any feedback on this site, so please feel free to e-mail me with any comments at [email protected]

     9/1/99: Film: It keeps coming...and coming. There's nothing you can do to prevent it from happening. This weekend the Farrelly Bros. take the semi-serious angle with Outside Providence and  Cuba Gooding, Jr pays his bills riding an Ice Cream Truck like hell in Chill Factor.

     9/2/99: Brian Vinyard brings us an interview/music commen- entary with the local band Unlike Agnew. Dig it.

     9/7/99:Beep. Not. Enough. TIme. To. Update. Beep. Soon. Update. Soon. Beep.

     9/8/99: Busy preparing a submission for City Paper's Poetry contest. They also have a Short Fiction contest and the deadline for both is Sep 15. How about you out there sending them a piece? Pickup the latest City Paper pronto for contest guidelines.

     9/9/99: Language is such a curious thing. From now on every Thursday we'll have Street Slang in Inquisition. Brian Vinyard has compiled a list of inner city slang that will have you wondering how language evolves. Man, I sure need some bones! (warning: some of these words may be found offensive to some.)

     9/10/99: This being an arts and literature zine, the following might be out of place.I'm a huge of fan of computer games and this deserves a highlight: Blizzard Entertainment has announced they're working on...Warcraft III. Check out the   details and in-game screenshots of the first-ever "Role-Playing Strategy" game.

     9/14/99: Everybody's "coming of age" these days: The Farrelly brothers tell their own growing up story in their bittersweet comedy Outside Providence.

     9/15/99: The Fall film season arrives with a group of uneven titles: Two horror flicks that have the exact same premise(Stir Of Echoes, Stigmata); a refreshing indie gay comedy(Trick);a middle-of-the-road Martin Lawrence flick(Blue Streak) and (can't hardly get the words out) another Kevin Costner baseball picture(For The Love Of The Game) (calms down). Anyways, go to the Film section to find out more.

     9/16/99: It's Thursday and time for more Street Slang in Inquisition, compiled by Brian Vinyard. I know next time I see a gorgeous girl I'll be asking her to break me off the math.

     9/17/99: Gentlemen, why do we do it to ourselves? Going back to knock on the doors of those women that only blow us away like so much cigarette smoke...Thom Stromer loses this delicate battle and here are his words.

     9/23/99: I'm back in black. Due to problems with my phone, the site wasn't updated these past few days. I'm on again with a couple of announcements of happenings taking place this weekend in Baltimore:

     -- High Zero: Festival Of Experimental Improvised Music takes place this weekend, Sep 24-26, in various locations around town. Featuring over 25 musicians performing experimental inprovised music, this unique festival challenges and pushes the boundaries of musical expression.      --Two great festivals in one weekend. You hunger for cultural, artistic events through the year and here they come all at once. The Baltimore Book Festival is taking place this weekend, Sep 24-26 at Mount Vernon Place. There will be books to be sold, a wine bar, local authors, various signings, computer exhibits, poetry readings, live music and more. For info and details call 410-837-4636.

     9/30/99: Thursday rolls around again with more Street Slang from Brian Vinyard. Decipher the communication in the dialogue:

          "What's the dealie yo, Dog?! I be creepin' around for some dead presidents down in Dysnefied Inna' Harbor."
