The early evening on Coruscant was a rusty grey-orange, a mix of setting sun and advancing storm. The smooth flow of craft hurrying home through the clouds dotted the darkening sky with flashing, streaking lights, competing with the distant lightning crackling at the horizon. Placing his hand against the window, Qui-Gon cast out his senses to embrace the electrical storm. Through his palm he could feel the pulsing energy of the clouds and rain as they danced in the atmosphere miles away. Storms of any great size were a rare occurrence on Coruscant since the last lake was turned into a residence tower over twenty years ago; the planet was so paved over and built upon that it was almost devoid of the living Force. If the weather predictions were right, this would be a night to remember for years to come.

He was so concentrated upon the coming weather, Qui-Gon was startled when a warm body pressed up against his back. Long arms snaked around his waist, hugging tightly. Hands lightly massaged his stomach as they sought out the open v-line of his tunic. A strong thigh pressed between his legs, encouraging him to open up completely to the seducer. Qui-Gon leaned back into the embrace as gentle pleasure flowed through his body in waves.

A distant rumble of thunder brought Qui-Gon back to the moment. "No," he whispered, his voice harsh with desire. Straightening up, he pulled the questing fingers out from his shirt and firmly pushed them away from his stimulated body. Turning, he met full on the force of Xanatos' pout. His face was flushed with arousal, and his azure eyes twinkled with mischief. He was beautiful. For a moment, Qui-Gon wavered in his determination, and sensing it, Xanatos dived in with a seductive open-mouth kiss.

Like silk Xanatos' full lips slid over Qui's, pulling at his heart-strings with the pure sensual force of the oral embrace. With more strength than he intended, Qui-Gon shoved the younger man away, almost knocking him to the ground. Xanatos stumbled, but he caught himself, folding his arms around his body while wincing as though in pain. "No, Xanatos," Qui-Gon said as he leaned heavily against the cool window, suddenly feeling very tired. "Never again."

Xanatos' face crumbled, and he hugged his lean frame tighter in his arms, pulling himself together. His long lashes drooped, touching his cheeks. Taking a deep breath, he opened his eyes but refused to look at Qui-Gon's face. Instead he stared at the floor, holding onto his dignity with a cool facade. Xanatos stiffened his back as he slowly turned and defiantly fled to his private room, his pride bruised and his heart aching.

His own heart saddened, Qui-Gon fled the oppressive tension of the apartment for the open balcony. Suspended high above the city, Qui-Gon Jinn sat cross-legged on the metal catwalk, breathing in the calm serenity of a city shutting down in preparation for a storm. The air, usually dry and tasting vaguely of machine oil, growled and swept through the lofty towers in wild currents, bringing the wetly-sweet smell of rain. In a matter of hours, the entire Temple district would be drenched. As the singing wind tangled in Qui-Gon's long, loose hair, he could sense within it the awesome strength of the summer storm. It crackled through his troubled mind, sharpening his every sense to crisp clarity. The uncommon rainstorm was strong with the Force, and Coruscant exulted in its arrival as one would welcome the return of a long-lost lover.

Though the world felt more at peace than it had been in years, Qui-Gon was in turmoil. One week ago to the day, he had sex with his Padawan learner. He had broken the most sacred trust. He had taken advantage of Xanatos by allowing his base passions to take control of him, and now his young apprentice was more insatiable than ever. Every look, every touch, every word spoken between them was a play at seduction as Xani attempted to lure Qui-Gon into his bed. And every time Qui-Gon turned him away, Xanatos would be sullen for hours, filling the small living space with his annoyed frustration and almost hostile silence.

He'd had talks with his Padawan--about the Code, about the reasons why it was forbidden for them to be together, about why he must stop trying to goad him into bed--but it was as though Xan weren't listening. Finally it had reached a point where Qui-Gon couldn't be in the same room as Xanatos without feeling guilt for his previous actions, and even more guilt for still feeling more attraction than he'd like to admit. Their bond was suffering, and Qui-Gon was running out of ideas on how to repair the damage he had caused with his thoughtless actions.

The problem was that he couldn't make himself forget how wonderful it had been to give into his passions for that brief moment. Making love for the first time--the only time--with Xanatos had been an indescribable experience, one that Qui-Gon would cherish in secret for the rest of his life. Though it had only been a week, Qui-Gon found his body craving his apprentice's touch like a rose craves the morning's dew. He licked his lips, remembering the sweet taste of Xani's lips, the sweet sounds he made as he orgasmed. A whimper escaped Qui's mouth as his body reacted to the memories.

But it was all a mistake, a dangerous, stupid mistake that has placed their Master-Padawan relationship in danger. He was the young man's mentor--a teacher and guide. Never was he meant to be his lover. The entire apprenticeship was based on trust and respect, and Qui-Gon couldn't face betraying his Padawan again with his passion. He gave in once, and already their relationship was strained, brought near to breaking by the tension between them. Qui-Gon couldn't face the possibility of losing his little Xani over something that should have never happened in the first place.

Taking deep, cleansing breaths of storm-awakened air, Qui-Gon made an effort to calm his thoughts. Bit by bit, he released parts of his arousal and anxiety into the Force, expelling the inflammatory emotions until he could think more objectively. It was difficult to relax fully with his lusty Padawan pacing the apartment behind him, projecting every emotion to his meditating Master.

Tomorrow, he would speak to him again. He would make Xanatos understand that he must give up on his dangerous seduction. There was too much at stake to risk for simple bodily pleasure. As his teacher, it was Qui-Gon's duty to make him understand.

Resolution found, Qui-Gon filled his lungs with a final sigh of stormy air, then brushed off his leggings and went inside the apartment to see what he could find for their supper.

*~*

BOOM!

The electricity-entwined thunder roared through the cool air of Qui-Gon's bedroom, vibrating the bed beneath his bare back as it woke him from his deep slumber. Through the large windows that made up one entire wall he could see the deadly spikes of blue-white energy dart between the clouds like children playing in a forest. The low clouds were underlit by the glow of the planet-city, and blissfully the sky was nearly free of air traffic due to the dangerous conditions. Fat raindrops clung to the slick window surface, melting the outside world into distorted shapes and flashes. The wind howled against the window, threatening to break through the impenetrable glass. The night was beautiful.

CRACK! BOOM!

An exceptionally powerful jolt of natural power slammed into the building across from Qui-Gon's view, the suddenness of which made even the Jedi Master jump nervously. A second after the lightning dissipated, the lights flickered out all over the building. One by one, the neighboring skyscrapers blinked out, and for the first time in several years the sky of Coruscant was dark, completely empty of artificial light. The storm raged on, heedless of the puny droids and mortals now struggling to return power to the grand metal-and-steelcrete structures that dominated the landscape.

The sudden power outage didn't cause any undue stress to Qui-Gon; quite the contrary, he felt a warm glow of tranquillity at being given the rare opportunity to witness the primal beauty of Coruscant without the gaudy tinsel of Republic aesthetics. Power was rarely interrupted for more than scant minutes in the vast electronic maze of civilization, so he reclined on his side, head pillowed on his arms as he savored the natural light-show outside his window.

His entire body was alive with the living Force, as though it were lightning coursing through his veins instead of blood. On a planet so devoid of plant life and animals, it was unusual to feel such a positive fluctuation in the Force. It felt wonderfully refreshing, invigorating his tired muscles and making him want to run up the walls with excess energy. His bare skin was sensitive to every fiber of the soft cotton sheets, his tongue tasted a dozen sensations in the air, his nose picked up every scent in the room. The thunder was a euphoric symphony, and the lightning a surreal painting. He had never felt so alive! Qui-Gon laughed deep in his throat, burrowing deeper into his sheets as he soaked up the wild energy.

A knock on his door roused Qui-Gon from his contemplations. Before he could call out an answer, the door slid open and large blue eyes peeked around the corner. The commons area behind the door was dark from the outage, but the lightning and Qui-Gon's senses picked out enough of the form to identify his young knight-hopeful Xanatos.

"Something the matter?" he asked, apprehension sneaking up on his good humor.

Two finely sculpted hands gripped the door frame on either side of the peering face, making it look for all the world as if Xanatos were a rabbit peeking from his hole. "Master--" he cut off as another slam of thunder rumbled the room, making him jump. He whimpered quietly as another shock of lightning exploded outside the window, dangerously close to the building. Xan closed his eyes and sucked in a shivery breath between his teeth. His body quivered ever so slightly, and in a deep, pleading voice he asked, "Master, may I sleep with you?"

Qui-Gon had never heard a more erotic question. Perhaps it was the way he said it, or perhaps it was just the storm's influence, but Xanatos' dulcet tones spoke directly to the most primitive part of Qui-Gon's brain, whispering with the sweet words of pleasurable memory. Qui-Gon couldn't help but relive memory of the tight heat of his Padawan's body as he wrapped himself around his master, and unconsciously he closed his eyes. In a flash quicker than the storm outside, last week's activities in the Temple Library played against Qui-Gon's eyelids. His heart raced at the thought of feeling Xanatos so near him again. "Xanatos, I don't think--"

"I won't try anything, I promise," Xanatos was quick to assure his master.

'It's not you I'm afraid of,' Qui-Gon thought to himself ruefully, not sure if he could trust himself with the young man anymore. "Please," Xanatos' normally velvet voice cracked with emotion. "I feel so...strange," he whispered, leaning his forehead against one of his hands.

He never could deny Xanatos anything. With a resolute sigh, Qui-Gon made some room on the bed, lifted the blanket and beckoned his young apprentice forward. In a dizzying spurt of speed, Xanatos launched across the room and landed in a terrified ball with his back to Qui-Gon's chest. The bed vibrated with the storm's moan, and the tall boy curled up even smaller. Fearful emotions radiated from his posture.

Qui-Gon stared at the shuddering back, not sure what to do. His heart went out to his apprentice. The storm was driving his senses wild; he could just imagine what it was doing to the more inexperienced Xanatos. Part of him wanted to grab Xani and hold him to his chest, whispering soft words until he calmed and slept. Another part was afraid that if he touched the young man, he wouldn't be able to stop himself from going further--and a very demanding part of his body shouted that it wouldn't mind that at all. Meaning only to give comfort, Qui-Gon slowly edged his arm forward until his forearm came to rest along the pale curve of Xanatos' spine. The younger man leaned a little into the touch, but otherwise didn't react. The movement was so subtle as to be mistaken as casual, but it was anything but. The simple touch made Qui-Gon's breath catch in his throat, filling his mind with the intense sensation of the satin flesh and ideas of how it would feel against the rest of his body.

'This is ridiculous,' he scolded himself, moving his hand a few inches away from the tempting skin. 'You are almost twice this boy's age, and you are reduced to a horny teenager at the slightest touch!'

Xanatos moved. Or, at least Qui-Gon thought he did, though it could have been a trick of the storm. He watched his back carefully, searching for any sign of movement. There it was again. Slight, but he could see Xanatos scoot backwards just a tiny increment. Again, and again. With a tiny, satisfied sigh, Xanatos arched his spine back until he was just resting against Qui-Gon's hand. A small wiggle, and Xanatos was flush against the line of his knuckles, his quick breaths stroking the fine muscle against Qui-Gon's skin. Of its own will, Qui-Gon's hand began to return the caress.

Lightning spotlighted the movements of his fingers along the graceful curve as the back of his knuckles outlined the shivering muscles. Xanatos whimpered with the thunder, pressing into the contact as though asking for something more intimate. "No." Qui-Gon withdrew his hand as though he had touched fire, but Xanatos rolled onto his back and held onto his wrist to keep it near.

Entwining his long fingers in Qui-Gon's, Xanatos brought their joined hands to his chest, pressing them to his heart. It beat with the a stormy rhythm, jumping every time the room shook with thunder. His eyes were dark, but not with desire. His body trembled from ecstatic fear, and Qui-Gon berated himself a fool. The boy was scared, and all he could think about was sex.

Apprehension worked its way into his mind, pushing aside thoughts of the flesh. Lifting himself onto his elbow, he looked down into his Padawan's face. "What's wrong, Xanatos? This isn't like you." Xanatos was never scared like this. His Padawan prided himself on being strong and self-sufficient. It worried Qui-Gon.

"I don't know, Master," he whispered, his eyes not leaving Qui-Gon's face. "It's just," struggling for words, the young man shrugged his hunched shoulders and shivered.

Qui-Gon rubbed the joined hands against the center of Xanatos' chest, transferring his strength to the rapid heartbeat dancing beneath his hand. He remained silent, letting the younger man find the words to describe his feelings. Over their training bond he sent silent reassurance and encouragements.

"The storm. Coruscant--it's dark," he finally spoke in halting phrases. "It's never dark here. I don't like it. I," he swallowed, and the rain painted tear-drop patterns on his cheeks. "I can't describe it. But...I feel...it feels...strange. Wrong." His agitation at not being able to articulate his feelings made him all the more unsettled, and he squeezed Qui's hand with greater force.

"Xani, it's just a storm. We've been through dozens of them." He brushed aside Xanatos' ill feelings with a gentle smile. "You haven't been this frightened since you were a little boy."

The young man stiffened, a tiny tremor passing through him. "I'm sorry, Master. You're right; I'm being childish." His voice was empty and cold like the cloudburst thunder. Throwing off Qui's arms, he began to get out of the bed, sitting up and turning his face away to the rain-streaked window. "I'll return to my quarters." His brave front was ruined, however, by a particularly loud crack of lightning which brought a mouse-like squeak from his startled throat. Yes indeed, the storm had thrown out of balance the boy's natural princely demeanor.

Qui-Gon's large hand completely eclipsed Xanatos' delicate curve of a shoulder, and with his greater strength he brought him back down onto the sheets. His Padawan suffered to be manhandled to the bed, but refused to look in his face, his embarrassed-blushed cheeks offset by the clenching of his jaw. "Padawan, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it that way. I thought..." His trailed off, searching for the words that would put his apprentice at ease, afraid to say the wrong thing again and hurt the already distressed Xanatos. "You aren't being childish. Stay." Taking Xanatos by the chin, he turned his face away from the stormy glass. "Please."

The aristocratic face was hard with fearful anger, but the unwavering gaze of Qui's serene eyes softened his features until Xanatos relegated his expression into a pretty pout. "You don't think I'm being silly?" Sounding so unsure of himself, Qui-Gon felt instantly protective of his apprentice.

He couldn't resist the urge to push the errant bottom lip back into place with a playful nudge of his thumb. "No, not silly at all," he assured. "You are young; the storm is strong with the living Force. You aren't yet used to dealing with such power."

Xanatos nodded in understanding, nudging into Qui-Gon's palm. When Qui-Gon started to pull away, he held the hand in place against his cheek. His dark blue eyes shimmered in the stormlight. "Please," he whispered. "I just need you to hold me."

Qui-Gon lowered himself to the mattress, stretching his free arm along the soft pillows. Xanatos took it as an invitation and released Qui-Gon's hand, pillowing his head on the strong forearm. Tentatively, Qui's fingers trailed down Xanatos' face and neck, skimming quickly over his chest until Xanatos was enfolded in his arms. His eyes closed as he allowed himself a moment's pleasure in the forbidden touch. Flexing his arm, Qui-Gon pulled Xani closer until his side was pressed against his chest. 'This is only comfort,' he told himself. 'The boy needs me.'

No, not a boy, he reminded himself. His apprentice may be young, but he was no longer a boy. He was a man soon to be a Jedi knight. A man he knew all too well, but not well enough.

The rumbling sounds of the electric storm moaned and snarled around the dark building, rattling loose objects and howling with its unbridled release. The towers outside the clear wall remained in darkness as the master and his apprentice drifted off to sleep in each other's arms.

*~*

Qui-Gon awoke to a sharp jab of an elbow in his side. He opened his eyes and blinked to make out the features of his room in the darkness. The majority of the storm had passed, but rogue bolts and flashes snuck out between the retreating cloud cover, highlighting dead spires knocked powerless by the weather's fury.

In the profound darkness, he could just barely see the pale skin of his Padawan's face which was pressed, nose askew, into Qui-Gon's forearm. The boy was still asleep, but the elbow moved again as he tried to wiggle under Qui's pleasantly warm bulk. Smiling indulgently, Qui-Gon rolled backwards slightly off his stomach and lifted himself a little off the bed. In an instant Xanatos had nudged as far as he could into the available space, humming happily as fully half of Qui-Gon's torso settled over his body. His face moved into the crook of Qui's elbow, and his sleep-slack mouth moved with mumbled gibberish, teeth gently biting into his skin like a baby with a pacifier. With a sigh, a tongue darted to tickle the mouthful of flesh.

The unconscious movement sent a shimmer of pleasure through Qui-Gon's suddenly very awake body. 'Little imp, even in your sleep,' he thought lovingly to the young man. His fingers made indistinct patterns on Xanatos' short-shorn black hair as he massaged his scalp, watching him sleep. He filled his mind with fond memories of Xan's impetuous youth, cooling his passion with proud reminiscence. One day, the boy would be a great Jedi.

The elbow jerked again, followed by the distinct pressure of a squirming Xanatos trying to clear out more room under the safe haven of Qui-Gon's chest. "You weren't this mobile as a boy," he reminisced in a whisper to the bent head. Smiling to himself, he waited for the next bump of an elbow, then placing a hand on one side of Xanatos' head he lifted himself into the air.

With a wet, sucking noise, Xanatos' teeth lost their hold on Qui-Gon's arm as he dumped his Padawan's head back onto the bed. With a whimper of loss, Xan nudged to the side, seeking out the warm blanket that had been there a moment ago, but he found only the hand buried in the pillow next to his face. With a frown, Xanatos woke up, his blue eyes following the arm up to Qui-Gon's face. Seeing his master suspended above him, he smiled slyly-shyly.

"Master," Xanatos purred and stretched, his heavy-lidded eyes grey with sleep. "Is it morning already?"

Holding himself above his apprentice, Qui-Gon could feel the younger man's hands slide under the blanket, gliding over his ribs. "No, not yet." He was pleased his voice didn't crack as Xan's long fingers tickled the shallow valleys between his ribs while they moved upwards. "You should go back to sleep."

The roaming hands massaged Qui-Gon's bunched shoulders through the silk of his loose hair. "I would, of course, Master, but it seems I've lost my blanket." Shifting slightly under the bigger man, Xanatos brought his knees up to press against the outside of Qui's hips, his hands moving down and then back up to encourage his master to lay upon him with small touches and begging eyes.

"We can't," Qui-Gon protested, though his determination was weak. His already seriously taxed willpower was fighting a war with his body's desire to take everything Xanatos was offering, and it was losing.

Xanatos' arms dropped heavily to the mattress. "You don't desire me?" he asked, his voice desolate.

Qui-Gon's heart skipped with sympathy. "No, it's not that at all." Leaning down a little, he pressed his forehead against Xani's, letting the younger man feel his desire. He bit his lip when he felt Xanatos' erection welcome his half-hard phallus with an undulating pelvic thrust. "I desire you more than I have anyone else." He shook his head to quiet Xanatos' words, lifting his body away despite both their protests. "But this can't happen. I don't want to see you get hurt. It is too dangerous."

"I don't care about what might happen." Threading a hand through the leonine mane falling around his master's face to keep him from leaving, he looked up into Qui-Gon's face with his heart in his eyes. "Just for tonight, let me feel what it is to be loved. I don't care if we don't touch each other again, and if you tell me to, I'll leave you alone. But I just want to feel loved, really loved, for one moment." His eyes misted, and Xanatos sniffled miserably.

"Oh, Xani, never doubt that I love you. If we never touch like this again, it doesn't mean that I love you any less." He brushed away the shimmer of tears clinging to Xanatos' long lashes, then smoothed the sleep-messed hair away from his forehead.

"You love me," Xanatos whispered, almost to himself. Framed by Qui-Gon's elbows, Xan's finely boned face stretched with a wide grin as he giggled musically, his eyes a million miles away for a brief second. The light shining from Xanatos' face outdid any storm; 'enthralled' was the word that came to Qui-Gon's mind. "Then show me how much," he requested, staring deep into Qui-Gon's eyes. "Just for tonight."

Tenderly, Qui-Gon slowly lowered himself the rest of the way down, covering Xanatos with his body. First their bellies then their chests met and moved in rhythmic synchronization; when Xanatos breathed out, Qui-Gon breathed in. Out and in. As Qui-Gon hunched down to meet his lips, they shared a breath or two before breathing became impossible.

The kiss was reluctantly broken, for even Jedi can't hold their breaths forever. Qui-Gon skimmed his lips across Xanatos' cheek, leaving little nibblely kisses on the late-night stubble that scratched against his face. His breath was quick in his chest, and when he reached Xan's ear, he panted warmly against the delicate whorls, making Xanatos moan out loud.

"Just tonight," he breathed, reminding himself before he forgot how to speak. Xanatos nodded silently, his arousal-flushed body speaking for him.

Qui-Gon followed the sharp line of his jaw with his lips until he could find the more sensitive pulse-point. The first taste with his tongue was heightened by Xani's gasp of delight. He arched his back, pressing up against Qui-Gon's chest as he bared more of his vulnerable neck to his play. Qui-Gon opened his mouth against the smooth artery and rested his teeth against it, as a cat with his prey. It hammered fiercely as he sucked hard, no doubt leaving a mark that would remain long after morning comes.

His hands were occupied with inhumanly silken skin as his mouth explored Xan's neck. They roamed his body, wanting to convey his love through his every lingering touch. Xan's shoulders, how soft. His chest, how smooth. His sides, how ticklish. Xanatos' throat vibrated against Qui-Gon's tongue as he laughed, and never had Qui heard a more beautiful sound. He moved down his neck, finding the source of the sound in the center of his chest, and nuzzled there, feeling the muscles jump and quiver as his beard scratched and tickled.

In the library, Xanatos had been vocal, but here in the privacy of Qui-Gon's room, his moans echoed through the air with his satisfaction, making his earlier noises seem quiet by comparison. Xan's hands never left the softness of Qui's hair; he cradled his head against his chest and encouraged him downwards with his body movements. Qui-Gon complied, placing quick kisses to the hardened nipples before he skipped to his groin, rubbing all the way.

Xanatos' cock was hard against his stomach, and Qui-Gon nudged it aside with his chin as he covered the entire area of his stomach, from his navel to his hard shaft, with long swipes of his tongue and hard nips with his teeth. He took Xanatos in his mouth, and for the briefest of seconds he held the rosy head between his lips, pushing back the tight foreskin before releasing it. Xanatos moaned at the brief contact, and wiggled with frustration.

Licking the crease of where his leg met his body, Qui-Gon pressed loving kisses to his inner thighs; Xanatos was already open and waiting for him as he fell between his knees, compulsively raining butterfly kisses over the soft folds of his balls. His hands massaged Xan's ass, and the young man lifted his hips to push his groin against the torturing mouth. Moving his hands to his hips, he held the younger man down on the mattress, keeping him still as he had his way with his body. When he protectively cradled the hanging testicles and nipped the super-sensitive skin beneath, Xanatos howled.

"Oh Force, fuck me now!" Xanatos growled, his body on edge as Qui-Gon nipped his way to his anus. The obscenity flared Qui's lust, but he held himself in control, desperately needing to make this night memorable. It was to be for the final time, and he wanted to make it last for as long as he could.

The tiny opening wasn't visible in the night-dark room, but Qui-Gon could feel the unique smoothness of the petal-like creases with his lips and tongue. He paused above the hole, his breath kissing Xanatos like an ocean breeze. Striking without preamble, Qui-Gon flicked his tongue against his anus, pressing hard against the tightness for a brief moment, only to pull away before breaching the opening. Above him, Xani whimpered, shivered and quivered, lightning shocks of pleasure tantalizing his brain at every stroke. Leisurely, he rimmed his lover, licking at the puckered skin like a kitten lapping milk.

It was such a slow build up that Xan didn't tense when he thrust his pointed tongue inside. Xanatos cried out as he curled his tongue, finding the sensitive nerves and lighting them on fire with his caresses. The muscle was tight against the invasion and slow exploration, so tight that Qui-Gon wondered if he had been a virgin when he had taken him in the library. The thought disturbed him in that he hadn't thought to ask, that he had taken the boy so quickly the first time. Now, he was determined to make it perfect. Curving his tongue, he teased another beautiful, rejoicing sound from his apprentice. Then, stiffening his tongue into a point, he began to thrust.

"Please, I can't take anymore," Xanatos cried, his words broken by hitching breaths. "I need you. Inside. Now."

Qui-Gon closed his mouth around the slick opening, and it seemed to kiss him back before he withdrew. Sitting back on his heels, he surveyed his handiwork. Xanatos was sprawled on the twisted sheets, open and inviting and looking completely debauched with tussled hair and sweat-glistening flushed body. Xan's dark eyes smoldered as he in turn looked upon his Master's nude and aroused form. The fading lightning flickered in the depths of his eyes. His bottom lip glistened where he had bitten it, drawing blood.

Tenderly, Qui-Gon grasped Xanatos' hips and slid him up onto his lap. His legs came up and twisted behind Qui's back, making it easier for him to place his cock at the loosened opening. He began to press forward when a thought stopped him. "What about lub--"

"I don't care," Xanatos almost shouted. "Just do it now." Impatiently, he ground his hips, demanding that he be obeyed. His heels dug into Qui-Gon's back, driving him down against his body. Giving in, Qui-Gon clutched his slim hips roughly and began to push.

The ring of muscle was still tight despite his minimal preparations, and it was almost painful to thrust inside. With a grunt he broke through the resistance, stopping as soon as the head of his cock was past the spasming muscle. Qui-Gon intended to wait a few moments, to savor the anticipation, but Xanatos was long past the ability to wait. With a quick upward thrust of his hips he drew Qui-Gon into his body, throwing his head back with a soundless cry, his entire body bowed and straining with the desperate penetration.

Resting fully sheathed inside the tight channel, Qui-Gon bent forward, crushing Xan's erection between their bellies as he sucked on the much abused lower lip. It tasted coppery-sweet from Xanatos' passionate biting, and the young man groaned at the combined sensations rushing through his brain. Qui licked the skin clean and added his own mark to the bruised lip, then kissed away the tiny pain around the teeth marks. Unconsciously, his hips started to rock slowly, shallowly, unable to resist the clench and caress of Xanatos' inner muscles.

When Xani began to make a whimpery noise into his mouth, Qui-Gon broke off the kiss and stilled his movements. "Am I hurting you?" he asked breathlessly, mindful of the lack of lubrication.

Xan stretched his neck to sweep his lips across Qui-Gon's mouth and squeezed tightly with his inner muscles. "It would only hurt me if you stopped, Master." His long fingers tickled the flushed skin beneath Qui-Gon's beard as he stroked his lover's face.

"I never want to hurt you, my beautiful Xani," Qui-Gon answered with all the conviction in his heart, leaning into the soft touch at his cheek.

A shadow passed over Xanatos' face a fleeting moment, then he licked his lips invitingly, banishing the darkness. "Then never stop."

Unable to find the words to form a reply, Qui-Gon kissed him again, speaking volumes of love without saying a syllable. At first Qui-Gon pumped his hips slowly, pulling out until he was barely held inside, then pushing inside a little deeper, every centimeter of his cock alive with the pleasure of his lover's body. His hands were on Xani's hips, controlling his movements, forcing him to take it slow and fully enjoy the sensations between them. Xanatos' legs wrapped around his ribcage, begging for more. As their breathing turned to panting and the pleasure grew, he began to thrust even deeper and harder, fast and frantic.

The storm outside had quieted, all but disappeared, but inside the tiny space the bed vibrated with the force of their lovemaking. Their bodies were soaked with sweat, shining in the diffused light of the dying night. The air crackled with the power of their passion, and the silence collapsed under heated sighs, fervent moans, and the soft slap of skin hitting skin.

As the waterfall of his orgasm began to crest, Xanatos' entire body convulsed, and he cried out as he pulsed hot semen between their chests, clenching his muscles tightly. The keening sounds triggered Qui's release, and he joined his lover in the orgasm, his mind and body exploding in ecstasy.

When his mind was his own again, Qui-Gon rolled over, his penis leaving the safe haven of Xani's body with sad reluctance. The young man followed him, resting his face against the rapid heartbeat, his hands unwilling to stop moving against Qui's warm skin.

When Qui-Gon had recovered enough, Xanatos moved up to kiss his face. His reawakened erection pressed into Qui-Gon's side. With a wry smile, he arched an eyebrow at his young and virile apprentice. "Xani, I'm tired."

"I'm not," he answered, kissing a collar of bruising marks across his neck. "And you said we have all night."

Qui-Gon watched the fast approaching sun tint the retreating storm clouds an orange-pink. Soon it would paint the rain-wet buildings with liquid gold, waking up the world to a new day. The stars peeked and played between the wispy arms of the clouds, enjoying their few minutes of freedom before the dawn drove them to hiding. Though his body ached with exhaustion from hours of lovemaking, Qui-Gon couldn't sleep.

He had given in again. Qui-Gon consoled his guilt with the thought that it was for the last time, that they would now go back to the way they were before this whole ill-fated affair began, but it did nothing to soothe his heart. He felt a great weight settle in the center of his chest, and his mind was too fatigued to hold a complete thought. He calmed himself by crushing Xanatos closer to his side, absorbing as much he could the feeling of his long, warm body before morning came and split them apart. Xanatos fidgeted in his sleep under Qui-Gon's bruising embrace, but settled down with a sigh, pressing his face into his neck. Qui-Gon rested his cheek against his head and closed his eyes, basking in the young man's warm touch.

Gently, Xan's mouth moved in his sleep, then teeth bit into the muscle of Qui-Gon's neck. Qui-Gon gasped, his overwrought body reacting to the now familiar touch despite the fact he was completely worn out. 'Little imp,' he thought to himself. 'Insatiable, precocious little imp.'

Then closed his eyes and tried to sleep.
