Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup margarine
6 level tablespoons cocoa
1 cup regular Coke-Cola
2 well beaten eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
-Cola Icing-
1/2 cup Coke-Cola
1/2 cup margarine
3 level tablespoons cocoa
1 box (1 pound) powdered sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
Preparation:
Cake:
Combine flour and sugar.
Bring cola, cocoa and
margarine to boil; then add to flour mixture.
Combine eggs, baking soda and buttermilk.
Then
add to flour mixture, beat well.
Fold in marshmallows.
Bake in a greased 9" x 13" pan at 350 degrees for
30 - 35 minutes.
Frost with Cola Icing.
Icing:
Melt margarine. Add cocoa and cola.
Bring to a
boil and let boil for 1 or 2 minutes.
Remove
from heat and add sugar and nuts, beat well.
Pour over Cola cake immediately.
