Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 egg
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp. mixed herbs (parsley, basil, dill, or your other favorite
spices)
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tomato, finely chopped
1 egg
4 pieces of bacon
olive oil (optional)
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients, except bacon and olive oil.
Mold mixture into 4 bread-like loaves.
Wrap bacon around each loaf.
Place onto oven tray, brush with a little olive oil and bake in oven for about 45 minutes to one hour turning and basting every 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and let rest for 15 minutes then serve.
