Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups egg whites (12 or 13 egg whites)
1 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup plus 1 Tbsp. flour
Preparation:
Beat egg whites; add cream of tartar and salt
when eggs are frothy.
Continue beating until
the egg whites will stand upright.
Fold in the flour and the sugar.
Pour into ungreased tube pan and bake for one hour at 325 degrees.
