Spritual decisions were made by David to obey the LORD, when he decided to spare the Saul's life.

Like the John denied him being the Christ,

"David Saves Keilah"

4 Once again david inquired of the LORD, and the LORD answered him,"Go down to Keilah, for I am going to give the Philistines into your hand."

10 david said, "O LORD, God of Israel, your servant has heard definitely that Saul plans to come to Keilah and destroy the town on account of me.

11Will the citizens of Keilah surrender me to him? Will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? O LORD, God of Israel, tell your servant." And the LORD said, "He will."

12 Again david asked, "Will the citizens of Keilah surrender me and my men to saul?" And the LORD said, "They will."

16 And Saul's son Jonathan went to david at Horesh and helped him find strength in God.

17 "Don't be afraid," he said. "My father Saul will not lay a hand on you. You will be King over Israel, and I will be second to you. Even my father Saul knows this."

18 The two of them made a covenant before the LORD. Then Jonathan went home, but David remained at Horesh.

David always consult with LORD and wait for the answer from the LORD.

David had true friendship with Jonathan-blessing.

During winter, tree saves all the strength in it's roots to survive the cold weather till spring-We also must save all the strength in most foundational, principles of the life to survive the hard times in this world, asking the LORD's help always and keep your best friend in Jesus Christ.

5 David replied, "Indeed women have been kept from us, as usual whenever I set out. The men's things are holy even on missions that are not holy. How much more so today?"

10 That day David fled from Saul and went to Achish king of Gath.

11 But the servants of Achish said to him, "Isn't this David, the king of the land? Isn't he the one they sing about in their dances: "'Saul has slain their thousands, and David his tens of thousands'?"

12 David took these words to heart and was very much afraid of Achish king of Gath.

13 So he pretended to be insane in their presence; and while he was in their hands he acted like a madman, making marks on the doors of the gate and letting saliva run down his beard.

Matthew 12:

1 At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick some heads of grain and eat them.

2 When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, "Look! your disciples are doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath."

3 He answered,- "Haven't you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

5 Or haven't you read in the Law that on the sabbath the priests in the temple desecrate the day and yet are innocent?

6 I tell you thet one greater than the temple is here.

7 If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent.

Which anybody who confesses "The Lord, Jesus Christ is our savior." can admit anytime, but it's hard to graduate, because life is hard.

Saul told his son Jonathan and all the attendants to kill David. But Jonathan was very fond of David

We had our church's (S.K.U.M.C.)wonderful 27th Anniversary Celebration Service and performances by our young adult, cell groups, especially women's fan dance(one of the korean falk dance) with our korean dresses instructed by our decon Dong-Ok Choi was fantastic and we had great dinner prepared by our cell group leaded by decon Un-Nam Shin and many others.

12 Saul was afraid of David, because the LORD was with David but had left Saul.

I know how conceited you are and how wicked your heart is; you came down only to watch the battle."

29 "Now what have I done?" said David. "Can I even speak?"

36 Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of living God.

37 The LORD who delivered me from the paws of the lion and the paws of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." Saul said to David, "Go, and the LORD be with you."

47 All those gethered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give all of you into our hands."

Satan will discourage you and judge you, but we must do what we suppose to do as a christians for the glory of the Lord, Jesus Christ, who gave his life for our sinfulness and came back as holy spirit to guide us in our daily life to succeed in his name to return the glory to our God.

"Samuel Anoints David"

6 When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, "Surely the LORD's anointed stands here before the LORD."

7 But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

11 So he asked Jesse, "Are these all the sons you have?" "There is still the youngest," Jesse answered, "But he is tending the sheep." Samuel said, "Send for him; we will not sit down untill he arrives."

12 So he sent and had him brought in. He was ruddy, with a fine appearance and handsome features. Then the LORD said, "Rise and anoint him; he is the one."

"Samuel's Farewell Speach"

7 Now then, stand here, because I am going to confront you with evidence before the LORD as to all the righteous acts performed by the LORD for you and your fathers.

-Think of what the LORD has been doing for your life, give thanks to him for everything you have become.

15 But if you do not obey the LORD, and if you rebel against this commands, his hand will be against you, as it was against your fathers.

16"Now then stand still and see this great thing the LORD is about to do before your eyes!

19 The people all said to Samuel, "Pray to the LORD your God for youe servants so that we will not die, for we have added to all our other sins the evil of asking for a king."

20 "Do not be afraid," Samuel replied.
"You have done all this evil; yet do not turn away from the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart.

21 Do not turn away after useless idols. They can do you no good, nor can they rescue you, because they are useless.

23 As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right.

24 But be sure to fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he hs done for you.

25 Yet if you persist in doing evil, both you and your king will be swept away."

Early Morning Prayer Service by our Pastor, Rev.Hyun-Suk Kim was from

1 Samuel 11:1-15

"Saul Rescues the City of Jabesh"

6 When Saul heard their words, the Spirit of God came upon him in his power, and he burned with anger.

He took a pair of oxen, cut them into pieces, and sent the pieces by massingers throughout Israel, proclaiming, "This is what will be done to the oxen of anyone who does not follow Saul and Samuel." Then the terror of the LORD fell on the people, and they turned out as one man.

"Saul Confirmed as King"

12 The people then said to Samuel, "Who was it that asked, 'Shall Saul reign over us?' Bring these men to us and we will put them to death."

13 But Saul said, "No one shall be put to death today, for this day the LORD has rescued Israel."

14 Then Samuel said to the people, "Come, let us go to Gilgal and there reaffirm the kingship."

15 So all the people went to Gilgal and confirmed Saul as king in the presence of the LORD. There they sacrificed fellowship offerings before the LORD, and Saul and all the Israelites held a great celebration.

27 But some trouble makers said, "How can this fellow save us?" They dispised him and brought him no gifts. But Saul kept silent.

1 Samuel 9:1-27

"Samuel Anoints Saul"

There was aBenjamite, a man of standing, whose name was Kish son of Abiel, the son of Zeror, the son of Becorath, the son of Aphiah of benjamin.

2 He had a son named Saul, an impressive young man without equal among the Israelites-a head taller man any of the others.

3 Now the donkeys belonging to Saul's father Kish were lost, and Kish said to his son Saul, "Take one of the servants with you and go and look for the donkeys."

5 When they reached the district of Zuph, Saul said to the servant who was with him, "Come, lets go back, or my father will stop thinking about the donkeys and start worrying about us."

15 Now the day before Saul came, the LORD had revealed this to Samuel:

16 "About this time tomorrow I will send you a man from the land of Benjamin. Anoint him leader over my people Israel; he will deliver my people from the hand of the Philistines, I have look upon my people, for their cry has reached me."

21 Saul answered, "But am I not a Benjamin, from the smallest tribe of Israel, and is not my clan the least of all the clans of the tribe of Benjamin? Why do you say such a thing to me?"

27 As they were going down to the edge of the town, Samuel said to Saul, "Tell the servant to go on ahead of us" - and the servant did so - "but you stay here awhile, so that i may give you a massage from God."

We as christians, must come together to do the work of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Be humble,
Be wise,
Obey the order from the God.
Return the glory to the God.

"Israel Asks for a King"

6 But when they said "Give us a king to lead us." this displeased the Samuel; so he prayed to the LORD.

7 And the LORD told him: "Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king.

8 As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you.

9 Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do."

10 Samuel told all the words of the LORD to the people who were asking him for a king.

2 It was along time, twenty years in all, that the ark remained at Kiriath Jearim, and all the people of Israel mourned and sought after the LORD.

3 And Samuel said to the whole house of Israel, "If you are returning to the LORD with all your hearts, then rid yourselves of the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths and commit yourselves to the LORD and serve him only, and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines."

Early Morning Prayer Service by our Pastor, Rev.Hyun-Suk Kim was from

1 Samuel 3:1-21

"The LORD calls Samuel"

1 The boy Samuel ministered before the LORD under Eli. In those days the word of the LORD was rare; there were not many visions.

2 One night Eli, whose eyes were becoming so weak that he could not barely see, was lying down in his usual place.

3 The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was laying down in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was.

4 Then the LORD called Samuel, Samuel answered, "Here I am."

5 And he ran to Eli and said, "Here I am; you called me." But Eli said, "I did not call; go back and lie down." So he went and lay down.

6 Again LORD called, "Samuel!" and Samuel gt up and went to Eli and said, :Here I am; you called me." "My son," Eli said, "I did not call; go back and lie down."

7 Now samuel did not yet know the LORD: The word of the LORD had not yet been revealed to him.

8 The LORD called Samuel a third time, and Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, "Here I am; you called me." Then Eli realized that the LORD was calling the boy.

9 So Eli told Samuel, "Go and lie down, if he calls you, say, 'Speak, LORD, for your servant is listening.'" So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

10 The LORD came and stood there, calling as at the other times, "Samuel! Samuel!" Then Samuel said, "Speak, for youe servant is listening."

11 And the LORD said to Samuel: "See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who bears of it tingle.

12 At that time I will carry out against Eli everything I spoke against his family - from beginning to end.

13 For I told him that I would judge his family forever because of the sin he knew about his sons made themselves contemptible, and he failed to retrain them.

14 Therefore, I swore to the house of Eli, 'The guilt of Eli's house will never be atoned for by sacrifies or offering.' "

15 Samuel lay down until morning and then opened the doors of the house of the LORD. He was afraid to tell Eli the vision,

16 but Eli called him and said, "Samuel, my son." Samuel answered, "Here I am."

17 "What was it he said to you?" Eli asked. "Do not hide it from me. May God deal with you, be it ever so severely, if you hide from me anything he told you."

18 So Samuel told him everything, hiding nothing from him. Then Eli said, "He is the LORD; let him do what is good in his eyes."

19 The LORD was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of his words fall to the ground.

20 And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba recognized that samuel was attested as a prophet of he LORD.

21 The LORD continued to appear at Shiloh, and there he revealed himself to Samuel through his word.

1 Samuel 2:18-30

25 If a man sins against another man, God may meditate for him; but if man sins against the LORD, who will intercede for him?" His sons, however, did not listen to their father's rebuke, for it was the LORD's will to put them to death.

26 And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the LORD and with men.

30 "Therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, declares: 'I promised that your house and your father's house would minister before me forever.' But now the LORD declares: ' Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained.

* My employer's mom had passed away yesterday morning early in Atlanta, she was 80 years old, she was original member of our church, Savannah K. U. M. C. untill she had moved to Atlanta.
I'm certain that she will be in heaven. I deeply share the sadness of loosing her.

9 He will guard the feet of his saints, but the wicked will be silenced in darkness. "It is not by strength that one prevails;

"Eli's Wicked Sons"

12 Eli's sons were wicked men; they had no regard for the LORD.

17 This sin of the young men was very great in the LORD's sight, for they were treating the LORD's offering with contempt.

18 But Samuel was ministering before the LORD - a boy wearing a linen ephod.

19 Each year his mother made him a little rob and took it to him when she went up with her husband to offer the annual sacrifice.

20 Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife, saying, "May the LORD give you children by this woman to take the place of the one she prayed for and gave to the LORD." Then they would go home.

"How to win the disappointment(hopelessness) in life?"

A. Need rest-take a nap or simly have enough sleep everyday.

--It gives you different point of view(brighter, hopeful, less serious than it seemed when you are exosted) on the stressful issues in life.

B. Be patient.

Habakkuk 2:3

3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.

C. Laugh out loud.

* Try to be with children, who always joyful and laughs at little things

15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the river, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.

Saw Tony yesterday for the lunch, his computer was gone bad over the storm that they had last week, he was on anxiouty medication and the depression medication. My heart was aching bad...he had credit card problem too, while we were driving to the store to get his ice cream, guy from bank of america was calling and he was saying so weakly to get his payment out of his account, at the same time he was trying to consult with him about not adding no more interest and the bad calls, which drove him to be hospitalized? maybe.

He was suicidal when all these bad things were merging in at him...I fully understand the pain he had suffered. At the same time his fellow friends and co workers are moving on buying houses and getting along with their family members and all, the other hand even his wife was not there when their off day with no car, no food..that's when he called first time in long while, for me to bring some food, that's when I saw how badly he looked.

Lord, help my son please. I ask of you to help him healing and survive this time of his life, guide him, give him the way of life. I pray in your precious name Jesus Christ. Amen.

15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; The Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.

16 Therefore confess your sins to eachother and pray for eachother so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

17 Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.

18 Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.

3 The company of the prophets at Bethel came out to Elisha and asked, "Do you know that the LORD is going to take your master from you today?" "Yes, I know," Elisha replied, "but do not speak of it."

4 Then Elijah said to him, "Stay here, Elisha; the LORD has sent me to Jericho." And he replied, "As surely as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you." So they went to Jericho.

5 The company of the prophets at Jericho went up to Elisha and asked him, "Do you know that the LORD is going to take your master from you today?" "Yes, I know," he replied, "But do not speak of it."

6 Then Elijah said to him, "Stay here; the LORD has sent me to the Jordan." And he replied,"As surely as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you." So the two of them walked on.

9 When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, "Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?" "Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit," Elisha replied.

10 "You have asked a difficult thing," Elijah said, "if you see me when I am taken from you, it will be yours-otherwise not."

11 As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly, a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah said went up to heaven in a whirlwind.

12 Elisha saw this and cried out, "My father! My father! The chriots and horsemen of Israel!" and Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them apart.

13 He picked up the cloak that had fallen from Elijah and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan.

14 Then he took the cloak that had fallen from him and struck the water with it. "Where now is the LORD, the God of Elijah?" he asked. When he struck the water, it devided to the right and to the left, and he crossed over.

My court date has been extended again till October.

By what my lawyer has told me, it's clear that I'm innocent of all charges they brought upon me.

Trish Wilson has ran away, when they were look for her and now we have to wait till she appears on the court, they say.

It is not right for me, I had to come this far to prove my innocense and now they have put it on hold, despite of all the lost on my side, My time, money, my job and my emotional stress for last a year and a half.
I had to borrow money to cover private lawyer, because it was going no where with public defender even if I was innocent.

Thank God for all the help I have gotten from my church, my employer, my room mate and my children who prayed for me.
Just know that this has to be over soon, so that I may live my life, take care of my business and take care of my children.

Lord, find Trish Wilson to come forward and tell all the reasons why she had to frame me, please. I pray in your holy name, Jesus Christ. Amen.

"Life Through the Spirit"

1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

3 For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man,

4 in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.

5 Those who live according to sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

6 The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace;

7 the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so.

8 Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.

9 You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.

2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and loose heart.

4 In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.

5 And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons: "My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not loose heart when he rebukes you,

6 because Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son."

7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not discipline by his father?

8 If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and true sons.

9 Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the father of our spirits and live!

10 Our fathers disciplined us for a littl while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness.

11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

12 Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.

13 "Make level paths for your feet," so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.

14 Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

18 "I have not made trouble for Israel," Elijah replied. "But you and your father's family have. You have abandoned the LORD's commands and have followed the Baals.

19 Now summon the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel. And bring the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel's table."

20 So Ahab sent word through out all Israel and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel.

21 Elijah went before the people and said, "How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; But if Baal is God, follow him." But the people said nothing.

22 Then Elijah said to them, "I am the only one of the LORD's prophets left, but Baal has four hundred and fifty prophets.

23 Get two bulls for us. Let hem choose one for themselves, and let them cut in into pieces and put it on the wood but not set fire to it.

24 Then you call on name on your god, and I will call on the name of the LORD. The god who answers by fire-he is God.' Then all the people said, "What you say is good."

25 Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, "Choose one of the bulls and prepare it first, since there are so many of you. Call on the name of your god, but do not light the fire."

26 So they took the bull given them and prepared it. Then they call on the name of Baal from morning till noon. "O Baal, answer us!" they shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the altar they had made.

27 At noon Elijah began to taunt them. "Shout louder!" he said. "Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened."

28 So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, untill their blood flowed.

29 Midday passed, and they continued their frantic prophesying untill the time for the evening sacrifice. But there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention.

30 Then Elijah said to all the people, "Come here to me." They came to him, then he repaired the altar of the LORD, which was in ruins.

31 Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the LORD had come, saying,"Your name shall be Israel."

32 With the stones he built on altar in the name of the LORD, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seahs of seed.

33 He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them, "Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the offering and on the wood."

34 "Do it again," he said, and they did it again. "Do it a third time," he ordered, and they did it the third time.

35 The water ran down around the altar and even filled the trench.

36 At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: "O LORD, God of Abraham, Isac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command.

37 Answer me, O LORD, answer me, so these people will know that you, O LORD, are GOd, and that you are turning their hearts back again."

38 Then the fire of the LORD fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.

39 When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, "The LORD, he is God! the LORD-he is God!"

40 Then Elijah commanded them, "Seize the prophets of Baal. Don't let anyone get away!" They seized them, and Elijah had them brought down to the Kishon Valley and slaughtered there.

41 And Elijah said to Ahab, "Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain."

42 So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees.

43 "Go and look toward the sea," he told his servant. And he went up and looked. "There is nothing there," he said, Seven times Elijah said, "Go back."

44 The seven time the servant reported, "A cloud as small as a man's hand is rising from the sea." So Elijah said, "Go and tell Ahab, 'Hitch up your chriot and go down before the rain stops you.'"

45 Meanwhile, the sky grew back with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain came on and Ahab rode off to Jezreel.

46 The power of the LORD came upon Elijah and tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jazreel.

2 So Jezebel sent a massenger to Elijah to say, "May the gods deal with me, be it ever so severely, if by this time tomorrow I do not make your life like that of one of them."

3 Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there,

4 while he himself went a day's journey into the desert. He came to a broom tree, set down under it and prayed that he might die. "I have had enough, LORD," he said. "Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors."

5 Then he lay down under the tree and fell asleep. All at once angel touched him and said, "Get up and eat."

6 He looked around, and there by his head was a cake of bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and then lay down again.

7 The angel of the LORD came back a second time and touched him and said, "Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you."

8 So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled fourty days and fourty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God.

9 There he went into a cave and spent the night.

The LORD appears to Elijah

And the word of the LORD came to him: "What are you doing here, Elijah?"

10 He replied, "I have been very zealous for the LORD God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, broken down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too."

11 The LORD said, "Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by." Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake.

12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.

13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a voice said to him, "What are you doing here, Elijah?"

2 The people, however were still sacrificing at the high places, because a temple had not yet been built for the Name of the LORD.

3 Solomon showed his love for the LORD by walking according to the statutes of his father David,
except that he offered sacrifices and burned incense on the high places.

4 The king went to Gibeon to offer sacrifices, for that was the most important high place,
and Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.

5 At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, "Ask for whatever you want me to give you."

6 Solomon answered, "You have shown great kindness to your servant, my father David,
because he was faithful to you and righteous and upright in heart.
You have continued this great kindness to him and have given him a son to sit on his throne this very day.

7 "Now, O LORD my God, you have made your servant king in place of my father David.
But I am only a little child and do not know how to carry out my duties.

8 Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, a great people, too numerous to count or number.

9 So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong.
For who is able to govern this great people of yours?"

10 The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this.

11 So God said to him, "Since you have asked for his ad not for long life or wealth for yourself,
nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice,

12 I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart,
so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be.

13 Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for-both riches and honor-so that in your life time you will have no equal aong kings.

14 And if you walk in my ways and obey my statues and commands as David your fater did, I wll give you a long life."

15 Then Solomon awoke-and he realized it had been a dream. He returned to Jerusalem, stood before the ark of the Lord's covenant and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings.

facing those who carried it-the priests, who were Levites.
Half of the people stood front of Mount Gerizim and half of them in front of Mount Ebal,

35 There was not a word of all that Moses had commanded that Joshua did not read to the whole assembly of Israel,

3 So Joshua made flint knives and circumcised the Israelites at Gibeath Haaraloath.

4 Now this si why he did so: All those who came out of Egypt-all the men of
military age-died in the desert on the way after leaving Egypt.

5 All the people that came out had been circumcised, but all the people born
in the desert during the journey from Egypt had not.

6 The Israelites had moved about in the desert fourty years until all the men who were of military age when they left Egypt had died, since they had not obeyed the LORD.
For the LORD had sworn to them that they would not see the land that
he had solemnly promised their fathers to give us, a land flowing with milk and honey.

7 So he raised up their sons in their place, and these were the ones Joshua circumcised.
They were still uncircumcised because they had not been circumcised on the way.

8 And after the whole nation had been circumcised, they remained where they were in camp untill they were healed.

9 Then the LORD said to Joshua, "Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you."
So the place has been called Gilgal to this day.

19 When the owners of the slave girl realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities.

22 The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten.

23 After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully.

24 Upon receiving such orders, he put them in the inner cell and fasten their feet in the stocks.

25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God.

26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken.

2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

3 For what the law was powerless to do in what it was wickened by the sinful nature.
God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering.
And so he condemned sin in sinful man.

4 in order that the righeous requirements of the law might be fully met in us,
who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.

5 Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires;
but those who live in accordance with Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

6 The mind of sinful man is death, but mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace;

Can there be such actions take place in church like yesterday?
It's shameful thing to even go that far, yet they do not know what they are doing....
Why do we not put Jesus in charge?
What are they believe among them? What do they pray when they prey?
Do they know that Jesus have died on the cross for all of us and told us to forgive and love?
How in this world can they throw out our sincere Pastor who needs our support as well as we need him to the street?
Why in above all, the director of these shameful evil thing, Hyo Sik Kim uses few of them to do it and awarded by them each time?
American Bishop King denies signning the order to remove my Pastor, yet nothings have changed.
This is already 3rd time our pastor's been thrown out by them with Hyo Sik Kim who convinces superintendant Howell and as well as Bishop King.
Lord, please take care of us and our wish to keep our Pastor.
Lord, let us know that you are in charge as soon as possible.

Hebrews12;1-7

It's been rainning hard since last week, caused the flooded roads.
Had to drive flooded roads(Winsor Rd) to take my church senior member home after the service yesterday, now my car worries me, makes noices when I drive a mile or some..feels like fan, maybe something got in to it while I was driving under water yesterday.
Feeling terrible and sad about my church and district super intendent's decision to remove my pastor Kim.
We just starting regrouping cell group meetings and feels like our early morning prayers service
is doing well and Bible study classes were going good again...it disappointed our hearts.
Lord, help us please, let us be strong and be faithful enough to go through these things.

Mother's day service was all about profounding rememberances and massages for all of us.

My small group Bible study meeting gave me big birthday party last night after the work last night.
Despite me being late coming after work, they all waited for me including my Pastor and his wife, makes me so very amazed how much loved by my fellow christians under name of Christ.
No place in this worldly world could ever provide, someone as poor as me, but the sweet sweet Lord brought me a wonderful church, sweet and loving members and work place too.

Lizzett called to tell me "Happy Birthday to Omma(mommie in korean)". Tony had given me hug and kiss on the chick last Sunday afternoon when I went to see him.
Thank you sweet Lord that you have given me two beautiful and smart children.
Minky is not home, have not seen her for few days, yet he is still serving her food and tells me she is somewhere in the living room.
Hope she is ok, where ever she is now.

Difficult times for every one these days.
My case is far more serious...Lord, forgive my ignorance on what was coming ahead of me, forgive me not aware of my case, "Late but not too late" my middle school language teacher had told us back in 1967.

We had reception lunch at church after service(3rd May 2009 Sunday) for Kim, Bang-Yop, Decon's son and his bride who gotten married 2nd May 2009, Saturday. Compare to what she can accomplish for her son's wedding, I Felt bad for my children and their wedding, I am not able financially..

Went to see Tony, he seems lost his muscles...wish he would goto church, so that he can do missionary activities with church young people like him and his wife, it will widen his visions of life, regain relationships with God, have confidence in people, make better decisions and have better directions in life.

7 The manna was like coriander seed and looked like resin.
8 The people went around gathering it, and then ground it in a handmill or crushed it in a mortar.
They cooked it in a pot or made it into cakes. And it tasted like something made with olive oil.
9 When the dew settled on the camp at night, the manna also came down.

My roommate since 2003, works for the sherif's department and it is also amazing too, he seems trying to help me, he knows how I have worked so passionately for Good Will store, he knows I'm innocent of all these rediculus acusations upon me.

I'm walking the walk, because I do not have money. Trish Wilson is the one who orchestrated all this and she no longer work for the company.

Sorry to my children, there's no money for Valentines day..or Lizzett's birthday.
Hard to realize what is happening but it is reality, without no money there's no way out.
It is not about innocent nor guilty..it is killing.

Lord, help me..I want to live, I want to see my son and daughter have happy home and family.

Dave got me a different computer and the linky is working fine..happy.
Thank you my sweet Lord for you to provide me with nice people around me in hard times..

Church service was so great, it was communion service, which we hold every two month.
Sermon was from Genesis 50:1-14
It was about Jacob who has all his life seeking to survive to become somebody, yet Lord saved him and let him live..at last years of living in Egypt under Pharaoh's rule all he wanted and asking his sons to burie him in his home land canaan and so did his son Joseph was successful(dispite of his brother's deception-which ended him in blessing by his obedience and integrity to the king and the Lord) enough to do his will.

Sermon ended with Mathew 11:28
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

We should live by his rules and guidence, so we will not be perrished.
Lord, thank you so much for all your love and care.
Please, keep us in your care, keep us from despair, so we may live. Amen.

Sermon was on

Genesis 49;8-12
8 "Judah," your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies; your father's sons will bow down to you.
9 You are a lion's cub, O Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lie down, like a lioness-who dares to rouse him?
10 The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruller's staff from between his feet, untill he comes to whom it belongs and the obedience of the nations is his.
11 He will tether his donkey to a vine, his colt to the choicest branch; he will wash his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes.
12 His eyes will be darker than wine, his teeth whiter than milk.

I cried when he exampled a young son who lives with widowed mother and younger brother, by leaving a appolizing note before going to sleep, on his brother's ramen that he cooked earlier while mom at work(she had to work all day long on three different places), which his brother did not liked and refused to eat, so, as a older brother he had displine him and made him cry..the note ends with saying he had also prepared the ramen for his mother who would come home late at night, hungry.

At that moment their mother who was so tired of living everyday in hard labor, was going to end her life by taking month-long saved sleeping pill, reading this note from her son changed her mind and realizing her son's love saved her. Like Judah, who saved Joseph from thrown into ditch by suggested to other brothers to sell him for a slave to merchants who were passing by..Judah who saved his widowed daughter-in-law who gotten pregnant without husband which it was actually by him not knowing it was her and exposing his guilt and let her live...

Salvation is the answer, Love not between man and woman, not worldly, but spiritual emphathy, humanity, with vision of the Lord, to save eachother from hell.
Sharing your blessings with despirately needed. Your soul will be healed, will be filled with joy of giving and be blessed even more...The nations will be yours.

Ecclesiastes 7;
3 Sorrow is better than laughter, because a sad face is good for the heart.
4 The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the house of pleasure.
5 it is better to heed a wise man's rebuke than to listen to the song of fools.
7 Extortion turns a wise man into a fool, and a bribe corrupts the heart.
8 The end of matter is better than it's beginning, and patience is better than pride.
12 Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: that wisdom preserves the life of its possessor.
14 When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other. therefore, a man cannot discover anything about his future.
17 Do not be overwicked, and do not be a fool-Why die before your time?
19 Wisdom makes one wise man more powerful than ten rulers in a city.
21 Do not pay attention to every word people say, or you may hear your servant cursing you.
26 I find more bitter than death the woman who is a snare, whose heart is a trap and whose hands are chains. The man who pleases God will escape her, but the sinner she will ensnare.

Ecclesiastes 8;

Ecclesiastes 9;
3 This is the evil in everything that happens under the sun: The same destiny overtakes all. The heart of men, moreover, are full of evil and there is maddness in their hearts while they live, and afterward they join the dead.
4 Anyone who is among the living has hope-even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!
5 For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even the memory of them is forgotten.

Ecclesiastes 10;

Ring of fire: Indian Ocean to see solar eclipse

A few lucky people in the Indian Ocean will be treated to a rare event when an
annular solar eclipse happenes in PARIS (AFP). A few lucky people in the Indian Ocean
will be treated to a rare event on Monday when an annular solar eclipse
will transform the Sun into a dark disc with a blazing ring-shaped corona around its rim.

In solar eclipses, the Moon moves between the Sun and Earth, casting its
shadow on the terrestrial surface.

In an annular eclipse, a tiny shift in distance that results from celestial
mechanics means the Moon does not completely cover the Sun's face,
as it does in a total eclipse.

Instead, for those directly under the alignment, the Moon covers most of the
Sun's surface, and a ring-like crown of solar light blazes from the edge of the disk.

For those watching from the fringe of the track, the Sun is partially obscured,
as if a bite has been taken out of it.

According to veteran NASA eclipse-watcher Fred Espenak, the total eclipse
track will run from west to east on Monday from 0606 GMT to 0952 GMT.

It will traverse the Indian Ocean and western Indonesia before petering out just
short of Mindanao, the Philippines.

The partial eclipse will be seen in a much wider swathe, including the southern
third of Africa, Madagascar, Australia, Southeast India, Southeast Asia
and Indonesia.

It will be the only annular solar eclipse this year. The last was on
7 February, 2007, and after Monday, the next one will be on 15 January, 2010.

The big event for eclipse junkies this year is on July 22, when a total solar eclipse
will be visible from India and China, the world's two most populous countries.

H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y ! T O N Y ..25 years old.

Why wouldn't you be angry, sad, feel lost...
He lost his father when he was less than 1 year old, he had to come to America with mommie. Since then never have seen his people includes his loving grandma who passed away 2006...his intentions were good, loving and trusted people around him, but, things were not as he thought he knew..He went to bragg's when he was not sure what's happenning with mom, when she was not strong to hold on to the home he was living with..despite of all the good work at school, good college, which mom wanted him to go and study to have better life, yet, he was already influenced with things that are not the princeple of the life, like people around him at Ellabell, just surviving day by day like hopeless life, he had to do whatever to ease the pain of loosing what he believed. He knew no matter what he does, it brings nothing...he just gave his heart away. And now his own mother is even accused of theft from Good-Will which she worked hard for 5 years, just because she quit the job, and they would not want to pay the p.t.o.time that she saved, it's humiliation. They think they can get you, but, the Lord is with us and he will protect you because, I have been praying every morning for you, not because, you are my son, because, you are given to me to live the life not death. Lord Jesus Christ have saved me through you.
He lost his first baby girl this autumn on thankgiving day, despite of marring to Stephanie like a good man, even though he cann't afford to have his own place. he is not happy that he is not doing better, meantime his best friends are through college and so on..I fully understand.
When he showed me what he does like gaming, movies, I saw his sadness...He was always among the top 5 in his schooldays..It was blessing from the Lord, because, we were good with Lord.

Son, best day is yet to come for you.
Just remember we came a long way to get here, even if it's not the best yet.
You must come to the Lord, ask his guidence before anything you would like to do more in life.
Remember, Lord had given you to me to live..not dying.
I had a dream when you were born, I now realize it was Lord's holiness and promise to me to raise you.
No matter how far you think you can achieve without commited to his guidence, you will not..
He is sad when you are denying him.. because, you are not truly happy without him.
He loves you more than you ever know, he is waiting for you.

Tony shouted "You are here without invitation, this is not your house(more like not our house..), you are so rude.." when I took some birthday cake and food to him dispite of his unwanting about my care.
My response was "I must do it, because, I'm your mother.."
He had puppy, look just like the one Bragg's have..Maybe Stephanie started work already, she was not there...
He seem not happy, I told him I'll not do this no more..

Lord, I ask of you to hold him and bring him to your care..let him know that you are with him, Love you, obey you.
Amen.

My pastor is on one week fast praying time.
He talked about the "Pain" in human's mind, that caused by unhappy childhood, physical abuse, mental abuse by their family members, which brings out unexpected behaviors in later life of them, who happens to serve children and people in ministry often fail to serve correctly.
he also mention about his younger days, that his family was so so poor(caused by failier of father's businesses), he could not bring any of his friends to the house, unless he goes over to his friend's house.
It reminded me of the time when I was raising Tony by myself in Ellabell, I was so ashamed of trailor that we had lived, I told tony not to bring no one home.
But,we went to church always..I always believed things will get better, when Tony get to graduate college(I had no doubt, as I believed he will graduate as valedictorian of the class-he quit college, although, he graduated 3rd in his class-I still thought was blessing from the Lord upon his good work, without father and no one to help). We fought hard to survive..I have no regret, although i wish Tony will come to church with his wife, he has to.. one day..

Today's sermon was from the Luke 10:25-37.

Lord, you have saved us in the past, only you.
You guide him, make him come to you and follow you, you are the only father he has...Bless him and his wife.
Love you and praise you forever.Amen.

It was just one of those days, reminded me of Ellabell days.
Franklin..my credit would not let me borrow money from my bank,although I've been with them for last 16years,
no matter how small amount it is..so, I had to ask franklin.
because, some one stold my purse in July, and had not found any of items including my green card, which I just renewed 2006, paid bloody $375.00, now I have to do it all over again, it is priority, so, at the end it's for the better.
Lord, I get to know you more by reading the Bible every morning, before the early morning prayer service, I'm amazed how foolish things we do without the guidence of you, Forgive all the selfish things and let us serve you more, so, we can be blessed.

We had last day of 2008 service at our church last night.
We started with dinner party around 7pm, started korean falk game "Yoot Nori"
after dinner, some won prices.
Then, we had service started 11:00pm. Young college group "Doo Na Mi" sang gospels with their prayer.
We started the service, share the proverbs 16:1-9, it was just wonderful
answer to our lost baby "Juliana".

"In his heart a man plans his course, but, the LORD determines his steps."(Proverbs 16:9).

than we had new year, 1st, january, 2009.
by counting 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1..My pastor stared
giving hands on our head with prayer for the new year on each family.

My work place said no work for me till new year.
Had strange dream last night.
Lady I knew was in the dream-realize it was the lady i work with, we were in large market place, every one was closing down their businesses and I was keep thinking about my son and trying to get to him, I had put him in this small restaurant and he was there sitting down and having dinner, when I got to him finally..he was still like little boy in my dream, but I was so glad that he was still there waiting for me to come get him. it was windy and cold in the dream as well.
I was working with all the people in my dream, but, I knew my work was no longer available in the dream, because, all the stores and businesses were closing down.
I thought about what the dream meant, when I got to work..things were going good till end of the day as it always has been, since i work with Tem agent. Tasha said don't come till new year, till they call again.

Lord, you always try to tell me through the dreams..thank you.

My heart was heavy, because of my Tony's loss on their baby, but, I started to read Bible from the beginning(Genesis) before went to early mornong prayer session and it truly lifted my pain away, gave me a hope and better understanding of it. Truly, the Lord is with us.

Service was good, all the students were visiting home, so, some of us had to cover their positions, reminded us how well young students were serving our Lord.
It was wonderful as it always has been it was ...especially,
the sermon about Love among the believers in church and for others
(Phillip 2:1-11)"If you have heart of Christ, you can win the heart of others-LOVE and forgive",
he emphasized on our behavior toward the people who we might mistreat, because of our lack of love and salvation of christ in our heart.
I felt so wonderfully uplifting.
Lord is alive!!!we had evening gethering at one of our senior member's house, food was very good, singing was fun and we were blessed.

Thank you my sweet Lord, Bless our Pastor, Bless our people who prays for eachothers,
heal all the people whose in need, phisically, emotionally..Amen.

Heaven's baby-Juliana.

You came briefly..so briefly.
You were perfect when you were leaving, wraped in baby blanket, you were perfect to be in heaven.
Great-grandma,another Great-grandma, Great-grandpa, Grand-uncle(my older brother whom I adored) and if you are lucky your Grandpa too.
They all will be so amazed that you bloody, beautiful, little thing is Tony's baby girl.

I was accompanied by you all day while working,
it was silently joyful to see you with all my wonderful family in heaven.

Trauma stops matuaring, unless you go for your dream, and achieve like some of us.

My life was traumatized when my family moved up to capital city, left me alone to finish the highschool, started coffee, coffee shops, rock musics....read mostly western nobles, philosophers..western movies..it's now turn to korean stuff..but, far more than anything I'm blessed to being christian.

My children also had those times, hoply, they will mature through reading, working and achieving the things in life, be a christian definitely will heal the wounds and able to give thanks to life and the Lord.

we did saturday yard sale.
Julie,her older sister and me. It was much fun, she just is so generous, kind, loving...her sister is same way.
I've been making winter scarf(mokdori) with my colorful yarns for my grand children and Lizett. It reminds me of my mom who did it every autumn, not only little things but sweaters, socks, gloves, which we had to wear it and I naturally know what to do with yarns(my son wore the vast that I made when he was in elementary school).
Winter is coming and I'm out of work again..hope Good-Will will drop the rediculous charges on me, so that i can get back to my job at Wal-Mart.
My favorate thing is to draw portraits again as well.
My friend Julie and her husband are Artists, I am going to explore the oil painting, which I did not do much in the past at all, except the color theory class that I've taken long ago in college.
I also will do more pastel of course..hoply, do my show oneday.

Lord, forgive my lacking on all the areas of daily life.
Please, let Good-Will drop the charges which has no merits at all, please..my sweet Lord, do take care of my son and his fiance who is pragnant, let them come to you, please look after my grand son Siddell and Lizzet as well.I have faith in you, I love you always and forever..Amen.

My late father catched this autumn stuff from water stream running around our store and the house (our house and the store was on the corner of this blog,front of the store was main road of the town, which leaded to our neighbor Nam-Ill photo shop, then there was Town hall, most of our customer was from there and the school, 90 degree to the left was back gate to our backyard and the house, which leaded to our elementary school and the huge beautiful catholic church),(back in 50's and 60's-we were young and happy) prepared these small eel like autumn fish soup to serve many of home town crowd every autumn till we had to sell the house, the property, best quality rice farm lands in county and moved up to Seoul to join my older brother Il-Won Cho, who was pursuing to be an Portrait Artist, instead, he became Hotel Manager( he was manager at Hyun-Dae Diamond hotel in Ul-San then Sin-Yang Park Hotel general manager in home town(was developing tourist sites plans in Mu-Dung-San with his Il-Go friends) kwang-Ju, then he was in charge of Sul-Ark Tourist Hotel in east coast, he was diagnosed with Liver failure after business trip to Bang-Kok with his friends and he passed away in 1995).
Our Chooeotaung(Autumn Fish Soup) was prepared in grounded wild sesame seeds and sweet rice, the dried turnap leaves and lots of spices, cooked about half day and it became so smooth, rich and spicy.
many of hometown people was sitting on large mat, served on several korean dinning tables ready for them in our backyard every autumn ever since I can remember.
It was our tradition for the coming winter besides all the different kinds of Kim-Chees were prepared.

Lord, thanks for the wonderful childhood, thanks for the beautiful and smart children.
Always love you and keep us in your world, no matter how hard the life can become, so that we all can meet eachother in your heaven oneday.

If You Go Away

Tony and Steph has baby growing in her, but, by her doctor's statement, baby is not doing good (turner syndrom(?)), yet, they are going to have it.
Bless them, just worry about her, respect their decision, surviving the hard times and trying to stay together is not an easy thing for anyone.

Lord, forgive me for all the imperfect decisions I've made in the past,

TOKYO TOWER

This movie is about son and mom, he grew up without dad, just with mom, who now diagnosed with cancer, while her son did not get college degree like what she wanted, living as a artist in Tokyo, just with inherited artistic talent from dad, finds out about her cancer, while she was working as a maid. He makes her stop working and move her from hometown to his aprtment up in Tokyo near Tokyo tower(where his dad send the picture of it when he was a child, through the mail)to nurture their relationship and care for her sickness. While she was in the hospital, he spent all his time taking care of her till she departs to heaven. sad, but beautiful at the end.
